  1. The party works to loosen the missing arbomancer, Waldorf, from the vines. The mage groans. "Ugg, my head hurts. What happened? I was having the sweetest of dreams, Annabelle and I were on our honeymoon and... and... where am I? Ezeran, Torald? What are you doing here?"
  2. The party manages to hold on for another round thanks to Atramor's quick thinking. A well timed bomb keeps the Founder in the dark while the rest of the heroes recover. 3. Thanks for you patience folks on updates, I've been traveling the last week for work which has kept me super busy. Hopefully updates will come at a more normal pace for a little while now. On a good note, nearly all the Parties have moved on to the third out of five acts of the story line.
  4. "The more Luck we have on our side the better. Don't worry, we'll bring him down soon enough. No hard feelings, my large friend, we're on a bit of time crunch, that's all." Skrall shoots at the Walking Mountain from the back row twice, if his first shot hits he switches to the Giant Hammer. Karie drums up the rapid march as her companions move at double time. Pretzel faces the Walking Mountian head on, but is knocked clear off his feat with a single back handed swing of the Founder's club. The artisan crashes unconscious into a nearby wall. Lind quickly ducks for cover as Vindsval crosses blades with the Barbarian Chieftain scoring a solid hit to the warrior's shoulder. The Walking Mountain stumbles backwords and consumes a Mead, Nostrum, and Mulled Wine as Kiray prepares to take the brunt of his assault. Throlar attempts a spell, but the words come out jumbled and disorderly, he finally gets it right and minimizes the Founder to the same height as everyone else. Skrall tries to snag some of the barbarian's belongings, but can't manage to find anything. Everyone else, please declare the action you will be taking.
  5. Torald's reflection responds in kind, stepping aside and gesturing for him to come through. "No, I insist, you first." As Torald approaches the door, his reflections stays put. The battle mage pushes the door just as Ezeran's darkness spell envelops the area in shadow, cutting all visibility but also making a reflection impossible. Inside the darkened room, the Party can see a green cloaked figure lying on the ground, covered in white vines breaking through the stone floor.
  6. QM Note: Fixed for real this time. I had just added it after your second action forgetting you were further down in the battle order.
  7. QM Note: Sorry I only saw the bolded actions, fixed. QM Note: Passive special fixed and clarified to be in line with how the round was run. Doomsayer has 15 attacks total, Quickened adds to the existing one attack, just like Hastened adds a second attack. Thus Chesterine is still down. Due to Simulacrum, Doomsayer now has 16 attacks. Welcome back, don't blame me, blame the one who decided to push the Doomsayer's buttons. SP reduction fixed.
  8. Ezeran feels that the door poses no threat, but that the amethyst may come in handy. Germ digs around, but unearths nothing.
  9. Elphaba looks at Boomingham incredulously, rolling her eyes. “Such a gentleman.”
  10. The cameos from old players have been great, just wait to see who else we've got coming back.
  11. The battle commences, Althior quickly delivers and Ether core to Bellanotte who immediately begins the rapid march inspiring the heroes spirits and making them fleet of foot. Arthur is set on the defensive as the dwarf unleashes blow upon blow. With each spell infused strike the Skirmisher finds himself growing slower as the Doomsayer's magic circumvents Arthur's mystical immunities. Hoke breaks his legs free before landing with a tremendous strike on the mage, the dragoon calls for Torc but the dragon is still far above them. Matthias scores a direct his on the Doomsayer with his cannon as Dyric follows up with two well placed crossbow shots. Althior drains a nostrum and fires a sphere of swirling shadow at the Founder. The Doomsayer swings his staff in a dizzying circle dealing out damage, dropping Chesterine and incapacitating Bellanotte in a tomb of stone. With a final spell the dwarf refreshes himself and suppresses all the magical effects in the room around him. QM Note: Just as a heads up, as Arthur is *Immune to Magic*, Bellanotte's Battle Songs will have no effect upon him. 12. The door does not seem to slide from side to side, but only inward or outward. "A Gentlemen Door. If the unlocking mechanism was in another part of the garden, that would make it quite difficult for someone inside to get out wouldn't it?"
  13. That is the intention, things were getting a little slow around here and with a lack of participation and people to run quests, I figured it'd be better to give the game a fitting end. There's been talk of a second game, but I think it'd be best to wait a little bit after things wrap up. I've got more thoughts, but I'd rather hold off on having that discussion now.
  14. Germ's reflection mimics him exactly, pointing at him and mouthing the same words. Elphaba steps forward and examines the door. "This looks like one of those Gentlemen Doors I've heard about. No idea how it opens though."
  15. Germ's reflection turns around and leans back against the door as well..
  16. Germ's reflection grabs the door and tries to open the door inward.
  17. The reflection follows all of Germ's movements, pushing in the same spots as he does. The rogue manages to find some recessed hinges that reveal the door can swing inward or outward. Germ knocks on the door as his reflection does the same, there is no echo.
  18. Germ’s reflection follows suit and mirrors him pushing against the door.
  19. "I think my men's original announcement was enough doctor and I get the feeling there's something else at going on here." The Walking Mountain pushes past Karie through the front door, only to find the rest of the Party waiting for him! Doctor Giocanda shouts from the cellar, overhead the heroes can hear the whirl of engines and the laboratory roof folds back to reveal a half dozen airships overhead. "Give me 5 minutes heroes and we'll be ready!" "What in Helvetia's name!?! Heroes!?! So that's what you were hiding, doctor?" The Founder pulls his great club from behind his back and takes a defensive position. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! 20. As Germ brushes away some of the Ivy he finds the outline of a door leading into the garden. As the black knight runs his hand over the border, the door glows slightly and a reflection of Germ appears. Boomingham ducks around to the front of the villa and finds the door locked with no lights showing through the windows.
  21. QM Note: Still need actions for Arthur and everyone's second action.
  22. "Convenient... if there was a robbery the council will certainly want me to investigate given the danger of such technologies loose in the city. Come, lead the way to the crime scene." Karie knew that while she may not be able to get rid of the Mountain and his men, she had managed to buy some time for Monalisa to prepare the gate. Most of the scientists seem concerned on getting the crates filled quickly in order to get them ready for transport.
  23. "Why do you think I brought these men? Besides we discussed this two days ago when you gave us a tour of the facility. All the automatons were shut down after their last 'incident' in the city."
  24. QM Note: Bellanotte's base class is rogue, I just rolled for Atramor's Lockpicks, *in flight* removed, it was only used for the last battle. Also to note, Torc is currently not in the battle.
  25. The magic compass points toward the wall of ivy. Boomingham's shovel manages to uncover a dented Flora Gear. Flora Gear (adds wood-element to physical attacks and protects from wood-elemental damage, accessory.)
