  1. Well I guess I'll start with my role. The hardest part was role-playing as a police officer and keeping people from confusing me with the cop There was a ton of PMing behind the scenes. After looking at all my conversations, added up there were around 400 replies ! At points before we started the group threads, I was trying to balance 3-5 conversations at once, I would be discussing theory with Pandora and MetroiD in one thread, asking them each seperately in a different thread what they thought of the other's comments and allegiance, at the same time trying to keep Ro87n on the same page, while also discussing Fuzzy's investigations, in addition to keeping Donut up to date on the developments of my suspicions and theories, and finally interacting with the suspect or lynching target for that day As far as how MacK survived, he did an excellent job in conversing with myself and MetroiD during the sting operation, basically my line of reasoning was why would a mafia player need to figure out townies' affiliations through extensive PM's? I now realize that he was probably trying to figure out who exactly was the cop, so at the time we thought it best to go after someone more suspicious (Masked Builder) and use the next night to figure out if we had a framer or if Fuzzy was paranoid.
  2. Wow! What a game. Shadows actually was helpful this time round Thanks Hinckley for such a great time. You had me on pins and needles with the mention of paranoid cops, framers, and godfathers until I got to the end, now my mind can finally lay at rest. Yay Town, good going Donut on leading the rest of the team after my demise. I learned my lesson I think, don't over-think things , it almost got MetroiD to kill me earlier and it got me to trust MacK before the last night. Congratulations by the way MacK, you had the wool pulled over my eyes, good job on staying in communication as clamming up only would have made your behavior more suspicious.
  3. Ah well, I figured it was my time to go It was fun playing with you all, I will watch the rest of the game with excitement. Go town! And thanks Hinckley for letting me play.
  4. Sorry to cause you so much frustration Hinckley Thank you for all your hard work that you have put into this to make it such a great game
  5. Alright folks, I couldn't take it anymore. After reflecting on all of my past conversations with Evan I believe he was either framed or the vicim of a paranoid individual. Sometimes in the police force you've got to go with your gut. However, I still believe that this town can continue to eliminate the mafia hidden among us therefore I would like to address Doctor Candace Cow. Ms. Cow, I am also glad we made the right desicion last night, however you did not contribute to that decision, in fact you were absent for most of the day's excitement, and while we all sometimes must take a leave of absence, your lack of presence was clearly noted on a day when cooperation and unity was key. Additionally if you have suspicions then share them, however a brief reflection upon your past contributions show them to be lacking in anything particularly insighful or assisting. Helpfulness is key at this stage of the game... of life Evan and Lily have shown it, you on the other paw have not. Thus, Vote: Doctor Candace Cow (Masked Builder)
  6. New developments have arisen, so for the moment I will, Unvote: Evan Elephant (MacK)
  7. Well my dear friends, it has been a hard day trying to sort everything out, but in the end I am casting the first vote in hopes of ending this horrible nightmare. Vote: Evan Elephant (MacK) Mr. Elephant, since the first day you have always conducted yourself in a reasonable manner addressing the problems at hand with unwavering logic and self-assurance. However, I have come to believe that it has all been a front for a malicious scheming mafia mind. During the vote against Marcus you were one of the last members of this town to cast a vote closely follewed by confirmed mafia member Franklin Fox, could you have been trying to cover your own guilty trail by joining the bandwagon against your own? During the next day you led the charge against Randy Rabbit, were you trying to relieve the town of a supposed mafia member, or were you jumping at the chance to eliminate one of the loyal members of our community? During the events of yesterday, you were the second "fish" to take my group's " bait" and we know what happened to the first "fish". Your continual appeal for information also makes me wonder if you are not seeking out mafia members, but are actually after an individual among us with special helpful "gifts" in order to kill them and so rob our town of any assistance left to it. While all these questions have yet to find their answers, one thing has been declared as factual, that you Mr. Elephant are part of the mafia. That individual you so earnestly seeked to find and destroy has come forward and they have revealed your guilt. I wished to heaven that you are just an innocent victim of some unfortunate complications but as of the moment I must trust to my friend's insight and hope for the best.
  8. Actually there was one individual who I did not talk to yesterday: Doctor Candace Cow. However I think the best move we can make for the moment is to have a certain individual who has been conducting "investigations" of their own to contact me. I know that you are still out there and my group of loyal townies need your help in discovering the last remnant of mafia among our ranks. Stop by my office and leave me a note if I'm not in, do it quickly however because we need to start forming our strategy to find the last mafia.
  9. Wonderful work my fellow loyal town members, though it was unfortunate that are oldest member of the community ended up working for the mafia, we can be glad that at least Payton turned out good despite her mafia leanings. My posse of loyal townies, you will hear form me later today. That mayor and his goons have another thing coming if they think we'll just serve as the scape-goat um... blame taker in this whole affair.
  10. Ok forget the Payton Franklin argument, it's just a wording thing, who knows? As far as being onto you, my group has eliminated the remaining mafia down to among 4 players including yourself, you just fit the best. I'll join in asking, if you have any evidence to save yourself please share it, I don't want convict a townie as much as you do if we can still get a mafia, but you aren't giving us much to work with in terms of your innocence.
  11. In addressing to each of your points: 1. While the first vote occurred over a stretch of 12 hours the second vote occurred over 24 hours. Point taken however that you cannot be available at all times, a constant pattern of non-voting is not helpful to the town in the long-run. However I do see you made time to vote for me today, it's just the breaking of your pattern that surprises me that is all, but you have adequately explained yourself on this item. 2. You may have poorly phrased your statement, but the point still stands that there was no connection between Payton taking out the mafia and the mafia eliminating Payton. The only connection possible would have come from private interactions and this only occurred as far as we know between Payton and Franklin and the only one who would know of that connection would be Franklin's fellow mafia members. From a logical point of view, you are incapable of inferring there is any connection between the two deaths unless you had prior information. 3. I'm afraid I don't understand your explanation, could you please reword it. 4. From a townies perspective this is evidence of not voting, due to meta-gaming, but from a Mafia's perspective this could be seen as not trying to do one of your own in. 5. Even if the arguments had not been fake, there is nothing that says Betsy had to be guilty, she could have been as concerned a townie as supposedly you are, just trying to reach a logical conviction with the evidence that was at hand. 6. I never said you couldn't hold the views of our fellow town members, but your statements seem obvious rehashes of Evan's reasoning, but we could wait on to hear what Evan has to say. 7.I wouldn't say our charade was a failure as it obviously was enough for you to take the bait, but whether we caught a real mafia or not will have to be seen. As to wasting a conviction on you how could that be? If you turn out townie then we will be one step closer to who the real mafia must be by process of elimination. If you turn out mafia, then we're one step closer to fully eliminating the mafia infestation. Do you have any better suggestions because time is running out.
  12. Bianca Lamb happened to be very busy today and did not have time to present her evidence before I had finished my accusation against you Mrs. Goat. She has my fullest confidence and I can vouch for her should anyone ask me. You on the other hand have quite a bit explaining to do. You want your evidence well now you have it.
  13. Well folks it's been fun, but the time has come to unveil this entire charade. You have all been more than kind in showing where your allegiances lie, this my friends is what we call in the police business: a sting operation. The plan was simple have two known loyal town members argue against each other (Betsy and myself) and see where the remaining votes of our list of suspicious individuals fall, then come out with the rest of our trust worthy posse and nab the remaining mafia goons among us, and yes you know who I am talking about. So now onto business, there are 4 of you left whom I do not trust and one of you has made it adequately clear of his mafia leanings. Thus I am casting my vote: Vote: Gertrude Goat (Scorpiox) Mrs. Goat, during your statements made thus far today you mentioned whether it was worth losing our vigilante in order to kill a mafia. To my knowledge thus far (and I was in contact with Payton before his death) there was no correlation between him killing Franklin Fox and the Mafia killing him (Payton). A trade off was not required, Payton could have killed Franklin and gotten away with it, unless the mafia somehow already knew that she was the vigilante. It is true that Payton also spoke with Franklin Fox who repeatedly asked him about the vigilante, but in my conversations with Payton, he told me that he never gave Mr. Fox any hint that he was the vigilante. However, somehow the mafia must have seen past his ruse and killed him anyway. My point is, only mafia members would be privy to this information and since you seem to think there was a connection between Payton killing Franklin and the mafia killing Payton you have raised suspicion upon how you acquired that information. Putting all that aside, I find it very interesting how you were glad to join in Betsy's reasoning without offering any of your own when voting for me. Additionally you made it quite clear that if I turned out to be a loyal member of the town that Betsy would be the one to blame, even though you had the gall to cast the first stone. In reflecting on your actions and statements over the past days, I have found more suspicious behavior coming from you. Specifically during the first day these shenanigans started you were extremely hesitant on voting off Marcus Mouse and never did cast a vote against him. Were you asleep at that time too? Additionally, yesterday you conveniently borrowed reasoning from MacK to explain Gavin's killing, in what seems to be an attempt to discourage suspicion against yourself. Again you, Mrs. Goat did not vote and I think you have not been trying to stick out for a long time. Why should you start heaping on accusations now, perhaps this is your chance to get rid of a useful member of the town? What ever your reasons you are sticking out now and the time has come to pay for the deaths of all our friends and family. Though I wish our mayor wouldn't treat you with cruelty and death we have no choice in that matter. All loyal townies you may now cast your vote.
  14. Well I'm not going to admit that I am part of the mafia, and I don't think Mrs. Bunny will either. But I am sure my reasoning will prove my innocence. And my conviction will only serve as another skeleton in Mrs. Bunny's closet upon tomorrow. I might have been wrong about Randy but I can see why I smelled a rat coming from his house. The time is coming to vote soon and we loyal townies must band together, does anyone else have any other evidence?
  15. What kind of reasoning is this? Dear citizens look over my past statements, I have always been the one that has applied logic and reason for the help of our fair town. If anyone should be under the spot light it should be those who have not contributed at all, and especially those who have faked their contributions such as our dear friend Mrs. Bunny, even when I have countered all her points she will not see the light of reason. This is not justice or even a suspicious townie, this is the smell of a mafia rat who will not let down her attack until she has felled each and everyone of us no matter the evidence brought to the contrary.
  16. Ok let's just simmer down, this is exactly what the mafia want you to do. All I was trying to say is we can't base the entirety of our accusations based upon this story... of our lives, we need to analyze all the facts that present themselves. All you've done Mrs. Bunny is sob and cry all day. Yes I did in essence lead the charge against Randy but the probability of us finding a mafia member every night is not that high, we are going to lose some of us. As far as relationships, I lost Payton Pig, yeah I know we were ex's but that doesn't mean that I didn't still care for him, he was a dear friend I am extremely saddened by his death and wish that I had trusted him more earlier. Donut as to your comment about choosing between Marcus and Randy, yes they were in the same boat as far as activity but I found Randy's replies much more convincing than Marcus. Even if I had been at my post when Marcus was voted on, unless there was more evidence I don't think I would have voted for him. You've got to look at it from a logical perspective, the only way we found out Marcus was through pure luck, nothing more and I think the way this accusation is going, if you both are townies, which I am considerably starting to doubt now than you're just shooting in the dark again hoping to hit a mafia member when there is real evidence out there in the slip ups of our fellow citizens.
  17. Well this is all pretty rich, I've invested hours into further this towns cause and this is the thanks I get, I'm not the only one who voted against your husband Mrs. Bunny. It's true that I accused him on day 1 basically but look at the evidence, he never showed up until we called on him, when I leveled my accusations against him he replied that anyone who voted against him was a mafia member, no offense Mrs. Bunny but that is just pure ludicrous as I replied to him two days ago and anyone can go review the statements made. He also made some wild accusation against Candace Cow who up until that point hadn't really shown any mafia tendencies. From all accounts he was guilty as sin. As far as not voting against Marcus, as can also be seen in the statements made on day 1, I left my post late that evening and when I returned Marcus had already been voted on and convicted, additionally there were some who have been proven town that also didn't vote for him, most notably Payton Pig and Holly Hippo. I ask questions because that is all a townie can do, he has no other options but to find those he can trust and try and determine alliances from people's statements. As you can all see my opinions and statements have always been built on logic unlike some of us who keep relying on their "relationships" to base there votes even though the great Voice has told us time and time again that they have nothing to do with anything. So Mrs. Bunny I suggest you start getting out your own pen and paper as I have and try and connect all the dots that have been placed instead of your mushy-gushy biased relationships. I will repeat myself once again, not even our most dearly beloved are above suspicion. I'm heading to my station to get some real work done for this town, anyone who has any info can join me in ridding those scummy mafia from our town.
  18. Oh the agony Payton dearest of friends, your death will not go in vain, my trust in you was made too late and now you are no longer with us. Randy where ever you are, you can know that your fellow town members are working to free our homes of this mafia infestation. Gregor your contributions to our town will also be dearly missed and we can only hope to bring justice to the killer of Gavin and in so doing to yourself as well. While Payton has aided us in destroying one of the mafia scum, we have lost three loyal townies in one night. Things are beginning to come into perspective now, but I cannot do this alone, if any of you has any info that was discovered last night, please for Payton, Randy, and Gregor's sakes stop by my office with your tips anything we can go off of will be needed to stop these scum once and for all.
  19. Much has been said Randy, so I too will sadly cast my vote and hope my logic has not been misguided: Vote: Randy Rabbit (Alex the Great)
  20. Alright, so after repeated atempts at contacting Randy Rabbit with no response, either he is keeping a low profile or is on one of his "bread delivery" excursions, if there is no other evidence to be brought forward than I suggest that we seriously consider Randy as a possible mafia member for the following reasons: 1. His innacivity during yesterdays proceedings. 2. His aggressive attitude towards after being accused. 3. His rather insufficient reasons for choosing to vote for Marcus. 4. His illogical attempt at accusing Doctor Candace Cow made yesterday. 5. His continued lack of conversation today. Randy, I also believe you killed Gavin because of his logical attitude and in order to make an alibi for yourself. So what do you have to say for yourself Mr. Rabbit?
  21. While Gavin's killing is still a mystery to me, I think some good points have been presented. First Gavin was an active member of the community while he may have not known of any other mafia, he was certainly a threat to them because of his persistent and logical arguments and his willingness to take a chance and lead the town in a vote, no member of the mafia would want to be in his sights metaphorically speaking for fear he just may decide to accuse him, thus they killed him. Holly Hippo seems to be another story however, from the evidence we have she was more than likely not killed by the mafia and was instead taken out by an individual acting alone, more than likely a serial killer, vigilante, or paranoid gun owner (even though no one should own a gun, not even the police force is armed ) Thus we are looking if we are seeking reasons to her death it could mean 3 things: 1. Holly's killer was a serial killer and took her out either because she had special "gifts" or some vital information, though I lean towards the first reason. 2. Holly's killer was a vigilante and took her out because they thought she was part of the mafia due either to her statements in private (possibly in public) or because she had been flying under the radar in a rather scummish manner during yesterday's proceedings. 3. Holly's killer was a reckless owner of a firearm who discharged his weapon when Holly came to him in the middle of the night. As of the moment I am fairly confident that scenario two is the most likely but we shall see. Again let me stress that although I have personal experience in criminal cases, those experiences are as useless to me as to any of you, my investigations from this point are relying solely on my head, what we need to do is find those members of our town that are "gifted" and gain their trust in private that way the mafia have no idea whom they could be. As always feel free to leave a message at my office at the station if you have any tips.
  22. What a night my dear friends, while I am gladdened that we convicted a member of the mafia on almost luck, I am extremely saddened by the loss of Gavin and Holly. I admired Gavin's knack for analyzing evidence and statements logically and his forwardness in bringing accusations. Holly will also be missed in that while she may have not spoken up much she was a loyal voter for the town and her influence will be missed I feel as time goes along. But now down to business: While these seem the most likely I am thinking that we may have a variation of the first scenario on our hands, mainly 2 or more mafia with a singular target, in addition to a serial killer. I have had a few holes blown in some of my theories so I'm off to do some pondering in my office, feel free to stop in and leave me a message if any of you have any tips.
  23. Thanks, I'm sure it will be great when Hinckley puts up day 2. (Spell check doesn't correct names)
  24. It's a mixed bag, from a theory point of view, it allows everyone to contribute before the first night actions. But on the other hand there are no night actions to base the first conviction off of. I'm sure things will get easier with day 2, which I just can't wait for Hinkley to put up.
  25. Mr. Mouse, mayor's "consultants" or not, you are now on the chopping block so it may not matter either way. Therefore please provide us with a little more something to access your position correctly. If either of those goons tries anything I will resort to my own measures though without a firearm I'm not sure how much I could do
