    Hoke and Benji make their way down the back hallway to back stage. A large red curtain separates the ongoing performance from the goings on backstage, a faint aria can be heard floating on the air all around echoing off the stone walls of the theater. A familiar dwarf on stilts greets them. "I sort of expected I'd be seeing you folks again soon."

    Hoke is all out of Diplomacy what will UsernameMDM do next!?! Trust me, there'll be a discussion in the QM lounge after all of this is done.

    "They could have just used the fountain for washing up, you wouldn't believe the amount of street trash we have to shoo away from taking a bath in the thing. You can get backstage through that hallway." Wigglepike indicates a side passage off the lobby. "Did the rest of you have any other questions?"

    "Like I said, you can speak with Brickspit, but I believe your incursion is unwarranted. If the Watch do end up disrupting tonight's performance, you can be sure whoever advised them in their current course of action will also be dealt with. Now if there are no more questions, I have the finale of the performance to watch."

    "Why would he discard a mask if he was trying to hide? Are you sure you just weren't looking in our waste barrels? Also where was this blood? I'll allow you back stage as Heroica has aided this theater in the past, but if you disrupt the performance in any way, the heads of your organization will hear from me. The performance still has another hour or so. Ask for Oswald Brickspit, he's the backstage manager."

    "Safety of the theater? The backdoor opens to the main street, do you have evidence that this assailant is in the theater? And what would you have me do? Cancel the performance, refund all of the patrons?"

    "You'll have to give me a moment sir." A few minutes pass and the attendant returns with an annoyed Bilbert Wigglepike. "What is the meaning of this? We're in the middle of final production of Madame Splatterfly."

    "If this is the inn, then I am."

    Hoke makes his way to the front of the theater. Inside the lobby, Hoke locates an attendant. "Sir, he's in his private box. We're in the middle of a performance."

    "I'm good, I'm going to the inn. Thank you Mr. Azim."

    "Alright you're going to have to give me time, probably going to be an hour or so, the rest of you ok with that?"

    "Under suspicion of what? Hiding a monster, do you think anyone would want to do so willingly? We could just wait for the show to finish."

    Hoke walks into the main street, it's growing dark in Eubric, but he doesn't see anything suspicious. "Any ideas gentlemen?"

    "I'm still hungry, doesn't anyone sell any food around here?" Polly looks into Azim's pot.

    "Um gentlemen, we don't have a warrant currently and aside from proximity to our quarry, I don't think they're guilty of anything criminal." "No one's come in who isn't supposed to be here since the performance started an hour ago. Before that, only those with an appropriate key or who I let in personally were the only ones who could get in. I don't care if you're interested in the production, if you want in, I don't mind a charitable contribution, but if you're going to try forcing your way in here in the presence of a town watchman who's just confessed to there not being any warrant or reason for suspicion, you're dafter than I thought. I've had just about enough words with you, don't push it."

    "Again, no one has come in without a key and I keep a fair eye on the goings on back stage. We have plenty of security and I think your concerns are unwarranted. But if you'd really like to come inside, shall we say 100 Gold? You'll find a ticket to come in through the front during the show will cost you each double that."

    "Now hold on a moment, it's not that I won't let you in, I could, I just might get in trouble with the higher ups, this being a theater personal only entrance. Perhaps you could make it a little worth me getting in trouble by letting you in? And no, no one's been in since the start of the performance and no one that I haven't recognized."

    "Disaster at our theater, is that some sort of threat? And those tales are nothing more but the drunken slurrings of a love-lost actor. We're in the middle of a production right now, you come back later if you've a mind to be more civil."

    "No one's come through this door and what kind of case? This is a private entrance."

    Hoke knocks on the door. "Autographs will be given at the front of the theater."

    Hoke can hear people moving back and forth, the movement of fabric and long dresses, machinery and pulleys squeaking, and at least two choruses rehearsing.

    Benji finds a Trickster Mask of the Dwarf. Trickster's Mask of the Dwarf - (suitable for anyone, changes the wearer into a dwarf of the same gender when worn, accessory) Hoke does not locate any secret door. The door to the back of the theater seems to be locked.

    Althior finds the weapons are merely props, moving the wheel the necromancer simply finds more discarded stage equipment.

    "Hello Azim, my name is Polly and this is Mr. Sanders. Yes we would very much like to buy something, we have gold." "He talks funny, Mr. Sanders."

    Hoke checks the fountain and finds nothing more unusual than the red water. No one else seems to be near the courtyard, though there are the sounds of activity inside the theater. As Benji has no idea exactly what they are looking for, his compass swings wildly in circles. "If I could handle this on my own Mr. Carvenhall, I wouldn't have sought out the help of your organization." Althior notes that the courtyard is semi-open to the street running behind the theater and would be easily accessible to anyone. There is only one door that leads to the back of the theater.
