Great one! I love your design of the computer and the use of the wooden gate-door for the table. It made me laugh, too!
-
Also, I just noticed this, but the new monster figure is a love letter to all who complained about the monster in 9466 "having paperclips" and "looking too much like the Series 4 monster".

Monster Fighters 2012
just2good replied to Darth Nihilus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
With the new Haunted House coming in September, I think it's safe to say the ghost polybag will be a promo for that month at the LEGO store. Or, it might be a promo for October, just in time for Halloween... -
It looks awesome! The price is pretty high, but I'm still gonna pick it up! Hopefully I'll have all of the MF sets by 2013!
-
Sorry for such a late post, but good review 'AwesomeTaylor'! I like the quaint design of this set. The price is pretty good, as the modulars are perfectly sized, and the simplistic detail is great. I hope they make a follow up set sometime in the future of the next five modulars!

REVIEW: 9464 The Vampyre Hearse
just2good replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Exceptional review, 'Clone O'Patra'! I doughnut know why, but I always thought of this set as a pure summer set. I'm planning on getting it on a lazy July day, right after I get out of my pool. The set itself is cool but not too unique with its pieces, and I would of preferred if it was a bit cheaper. But that's why I love LEGO. They create memories. -
The Ninjago Hidden Sword (30086) polybag is available on Toys'R'Us.com! I don't see a reason to buy it though, as this is probably the weakest of the new polybags (Zane ZX is the easiest to get) and Toys'R'Us is struck by mega inflation. I do like the swords in the sets, though.
-
The Minecraft set is now available on Toys'R'Us.com!

Ya, know that I think of it, it's not much of a crack. I'm not too familiar with newer pearl gold (?) pieces, so this is new to me. It does bother me, though.
-
Woohoo! Hopefully we'll see a preview of the sets at SDCC! Also, in the article they talk about a licensing expo next week. I don't know much about it, but do you think they'll have a preview of sets there?
-
Hopefully the pink car is a 2013 set! I also love the new color hair on the police officer. But that will probably be in a pre-order promo with the game.
-
Just noticed yesterday that Frodo's smirk is a bit smeared in my copy of Gandalf arrives.
-
Hmmm... A reviewer? That's quite weird, since I barely make reviews.
-
What? Awesome! I might be going to the LEGO store soon, so I'll need to ask the employees about 2013 sets... Probably 2 are Batman, one might be Green Lantern (TAS), and the last two are probably Superman (Man of Steel). But then again, this isn't a speculation topic...

Sorry I posted it so late. It is very hard to see the cracks in the photo (my camera sucks).

Hmmm... that was interesting. Hopefully a Bruce Banner and Nick Fury figure come in the next wave!

'STAR WARS DARK BUCKET' project has reached 10K supporters on
just2good replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Now that I think about it, it does seem a bit unfair. It's has a situation similar to the Ghost in Shell project, and I think for the Dark Bottle to work, it will have to be a completely different newly submitted project. -
Well, the semi-controversial 'STAR WARS DARK BUCKET' project has reached 10K supporters! Personally I don't think the original idea will be approved (1 Darth Vader and 99 Storm Troopers) but a plausible alternative is already on the project page, and it's called the 'Dark Bottle' (1 Darth Vader and 16 Storm Troopers with a buildable Star Wars logo): What do you guys think? Also, a big congrats to 'haru'!

Great review, 'LuxorV'! I actually have two copies of this set. The first one I got at full price ( ) back in June 2010, and the second one I got recently in December 2012 for around $10! I really regret not picking up a few more copies of the set when it was on sale, as the pieces are excellent (especially the baseplate).
-
Nice review, 'Wrinkledog'! I think this is a pretty average set. The figures are lackluster, and the vehicles look average. The piece count is poor, though.
-
Seeing this at E3, it looks pretty cool! My favorite part of the trailer has to be the Mario reference at the end and the random Zelda reference. Though I do have a 3DS and will be getting a Wii U, I most likely wont get this game...
-
The review looks great so far, 'Brickmamba'! Like I've said before, these 2012 Star Wars sets look fantastic. I really like this one especially, but $120 seems a bit steep for me.
-
Excellent microbuild, 'ShaydDeGrai'! You've really captured the essence of the White City very well. I say this with a lot of other MOCs, but you should definitely put this on Cuusoo! People would totally support this!

That's exactly how long I'd thought Ninjago would last- three years, just like Exo-Force. Year one was the skeletons, year two was the snakes, and I'm 90% sure year three will be pirates.

Im pretty sure LEGO said it will be coming August.
