Monster Fighters 2012
just2good replied to Darth Nihilus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Oh, I didn't know that. I just based it off of the fact that my stores had a lot of AC in stock last year compared to other themes. So far, it seems like MF is selling well, as my LEGO store only had a limited quantity on them and half the sets in stock. -
Monster Fighters 2012
just2good replied to Darth Nihilus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
For all this talk about how long Monster Fighters will last and future decisions, I think LEGO thinks up a second wave for every new theme. They probably make some concept art, and even some prototypes. If the theme proves to be successful enough, they'll release the planned second wave. Alien Conquest got some second wave concept art, but the theme wasn't popular enough. I really hope Monster Fighters does get a second wave though. -
They're probably going to put codes to unlock stuff in each CMF pack once the game comes out and spike up the price of each pack.

REFERENCE Dusting Lego displays and layouts
just2good replied to SirNadroj's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Today is dusting day, and I really need tips to make the dusting process easy. I have this Ikea cube organizer that I have been using since 2009, and every time I dust, it take around an hour and is very tedious. I basically have to dust the sets, move them, dust the display cube, then move the sets back. I don't use can dusters as those seem to damage pieces, and the air gives me major headaches. So, does anyone have tips to make the LEGO set dusting process quick? Oh, and I noticed a dusting topic here, but it seems outdated. -
Lego turning 55 in 2013... So what do WE get?
just2good replied to Artifex's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Though 55 ain't a big deal, we might get another golden brick bucket, a special minifigure (heck maybe a LEGO store clerk in CMF Series 9), or even a modular building with a logo saying "55 YEARS OF LEGO" on it. A modular LEGO store would be cool, but that will most likely come during the 60th anniversary. -
Post about Cartoons and Anime you like
just2good replied to Peppermint_M's topic in Culture & Multimedia
That's sad. I never watched Young Justice and I barely watched Teen Titans but I'm not really for the comedy driven new Teen Titans series. They should just let Young Justice and the Teen Titans comedy cartoon co-exist on DC nation, as there is barely any shows on that block. -
Battleship. Terrible movie. All because a stupid chicken burrito. 1.75/10

Our favorite Lego CMF minifigures!
just2good replied to Lightning Dragon's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I really like the idea of this topic! My favorites are the first Skater figure (nice new hair, nice head, and a cool jacket), the Nurse figure (nice new hair, and a nice needle piece), the first Cheerleader figure (all around excellent new figure), the first Surfer figure (all around excellent new figure), the Spartan (need I say why?), mariachi (all around excellent new figure), the Elf figure (all around excellent new figure), the Baseball Player (all around excellent new figure), all of Series 4 ( ), graduate (all around excellent new figure except for the jacket-cape), the Lizard Guy figure (funny), the Sleepy Head figure (all around excellent new figure), the Mechanic figure (excellent new hair, and the great tool box piece), the Bride figure (so lovely I'd marry her ), the second Rocker figure (excellent new hair and guitar piece), the Galaxy Patrol figure (need I say why?), the Computer Guy (all around excellent new figure, and a cheap way to get Robin's hair), and the Pirate figure (all around excellent new figure). Oh, I almost forgot, every Team GB figure. That was a lot to type. -
People usually get arrested for doing that. So I think it's a good thing you didn't get it.

Hate making another post after the last one was made by me, but I caught up on LoK this weekend, and I finally got around to seeing the season finale. All I have to say is REALLY. REALLY. GOOD. -
They look really good! I love it when people make boxes for possible sets. All you need to do is list a possible price on those sets and I'm sold.

Warner Brothers planning CGI/live action LEGO film
just2good replied to Whittleberry's topic in Culture & Multimedia
The movie will include LEGO Superman and Batman! Hopefully this mean more DC Super Hero sets up until 2014. Chris Pratt will be voicing Emmet, the lead LEGO character, and Will Arnett is voicing Batman, while the role of Superman has been offered to Channing Tatum. Also, doughnut know if this has been mentioned, but the film is called Lego: The Piece of Resistance -
Saw this on Flickr. It's pretty sad. I used to always shop at Toys'R'Us for LEGO, but then they started have inflation.
-
They imported it. All the reviews of the new SW Summer 2012 sets in the US are imported.

Looks great so far. I've been thinking of expanding my copy of the Vampyre Castle too, as it is my first big castle.

Google Chrome - Build with LEGO
just2good replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
It sound very fun. Just hope they bring it to the rest of the world. -
Oh, and I asked someone working at the LEGO store yesterday if they are going to sell this set, and they said that only a few (popular) LEGO stores will get it.

The 'Golden Age' of Lego, is it now?
just2good replied to Hey Joe's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yep, it started in about 2007, and is at its peak right now (its peak started in 2010). 2007 is around the time LEGO became popular again. But that's just what I think. -
I got the Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape (from the LEGO store) and the Series 6 Alien (from Books-a-Million) today. All I need is the Lady Liberty figure and I'm done with Series 6. The problem is they don't sell Series 6 anywhere. And I felt every pack at Books-a-Million and there was no Lady Liberty.

Good point. And to 'deskp', I remember hearing somewhere that no company has the licensing rights to LOTR action figures. But I'm probably wrong.
-
Has anyone seen these at their nearest LEGO store? I was looking forward to picking a copy up today at the one in Sawgrass...
-
Oh, I didn't know that. I was just saying that since they made Star Wars sets off the Old Republic game.
-
It looks great! Someone should start making sets based on LOTR Online. It is plausible that they might make sets based off that game...

Welcome to Eurobricks, 'ChipFlavour'! It's nice to see another TFOL on Eurobricks... I can't wait to see your review of the Epic Dragon Battle set!
