  1. Saw this on the Facebook page for the game, it's some kind of contest... What's wrong with the photo?
  2. Lord Vampyre and his bride have GITD heads, but I think that's about it...
  3. I'm sorry, too. I think the building is a bit too tall, but it will still fit in my upcoming City.
  4. MUST. IMPORT. NOW!
  5. There are also some new Cars sets (System and Duplo), Disney Princess sets, Hobbit sets (those are going to sell well), and even rumored Phineas and Ferb sets.
  6. Great review, 'Night City Dream'! The beginning of the review was very unique. I really like this set, as it is really the first City recycling truck. The price is pretty good, too.
  7. Another great City review, 'lego_legis_legere'! I was originally going to pick this set up last December, but I didn't like how it barely had an interior. I think I'm going to get this set by next year, though.
  8. Nice! At first I didn't like LEGO's idea of using string with the elevator, but it looks like it works pretty well.
  9. I'm starting to think of picking this set up, too. My LEGO store still has 'em, and now is a good time, since I could get the Mini-Sopwith Camel set, use the 10%, and get some VIP points. I always wanted this, and now might be the last time I can get it.
  10. Great review, 'Flare'! I always thought this was a cool set since I first saw this in 2010. If I ever do get into Star Wars (which I might), I think I'll pick this one up, as the figures look great and the speeder looks pretty cool.
  11. Great review 'xtremegoogler'! It's great to get baseplates in this set and regular plates... I hope this comes to the US soon! Also, I can't wait 'til you finish this review!
  12. Hello, I made this for my 1000th post. --- It all started… with an interview I came home, tired from my first day back to school from Winter Break. The date… January 5th, 2009. I did my daily Brickset check, and for some reason, I checked a site called Eurobricks. The site was a European site, but I didn’t join it earlier since it said something about being 18 or older. The front page had a news report of the possible return of one of my favorite themes, Harry Potter. It was stated in an interview, but that was in the forum, and you can only view the forum if you were a member. Despite the age warning, I thought I was mature enough, so I joined the site. But, at the time, I was wrong. Year 1 - 2009 The first major thing I did during my first year on Eurobricks was join the Power Miners contest. Looking back, I know why I didn’t win it. Another major event occurring during my first year was my first posted topic. It was about baseplates, and complained about them not being in sets anymore. Finally, I think this occurred at the end of the year in 2009, but my cousin made an account at my place, and I got sent to ‘the chamber’. I’ll say this- that place is scary, but the mods were understanding. Year 2 - 2010 Probably the biggest year for me in my life with Eurobricks. Right around the time the year started I got a message… To the user who sent it, I’m extremely sorry for the rude post. I don’t know why I would post something, but I think it was jealousy. It’s kind of ironic since the post was about age, and you are older than me. I was stupid back then. And you taught me a listen about maturity. I really hope we could make up. In 2010, I made many posts about Toy Story sets. That’s still my favorite theme. Right around March, I post news about Toy Story 3 sets, and one notable news post I made was about the Garbage Truck Getaway set. I had a link to the set on Toys’R’Us.com before an image was posted for it, and then Toys’R’Us.com removed the listing for the set, and later added the image for the set. During July 2010, I got a message from a (very) nice user who offered to send me the Toy Story polybags from Europe. Not being to educated, I gave him my address. Though nothing bad happened, I eventually told my dad, and he forbidden me from using any forums anytime soon. Thus, I entered my first real dark age… Year 3 – 2011 Fast forward to November 2011, I went to Toys’R’Us, and had the impulse feeling to buy a new LEGO set- the Dino Ambush Attack. When I came home, I told myself that it’s time to return to good ol’ Eurobricks, and I posted a review of the set there. Additionally, I started posting reviews of MLP:FiM episodes in the Multimedia forum. During December 2011, I was looking forward to the Super Heroes sets, so a lot of my posts were made there. I even joined the Reviewers Academy by the end of that year. Year 4 – 2012 Around mid-January, I started posting videos on my LEGO YouTube channel. Additionally, I joined my first ever community build, which was the Hogwarts one. March was a major turning point, as I decided to be 100% more active, and made sure I would have at least one post per day. I also made a goal, which was to have 1000 posts by the end of the summer. Surprisingly, the quality of my posts didn’t go down, but instead went up. I used better grammar, spelling, and etiquette. Today, I consider myself to be very active on Eurobricks. I usually post in reviews, and I try to read the Super Heroes LOTR, Monster Fighters, City, and Friends discussion topics immediately after a new post shows up there. --- A big thank you goes out to everyone who have helped and befriended me along the way. Here’s to 1000 more!
  13. Excellent MOC, 'Ssorg'! This is really the first time I've ever seen a Sailboat MOC. And you really nailed it! I just supported it on Cuusoo, too.
  14. Nice one! Very clever! I used to get my haircuts at Super Cuts, but now I get them at Great Clips.
  15. A. I don't think we will see more of Clutch Powers, as I'm pretty sure the movie didn't sell to well, and they can't really make a main theme out of it (a lot of the movie was them going to different themes) B. Plausible. C. I think the replacement theme will have something to do with mythology, as it was an AFOL who initially asked the question. Since I'm really straying away from the main topic, does anyone know why they cancelled that awesome Snake Train set? Was it because it wouldn't appeal to kids?
  16. I wouldn't take TheBrickShow's word on it. I'm pretty sure the designer said it will have at least one wave.
  17. That info is old. It has been talked about in the Ninjago discussion thread by a lot of people recently. And I don't really think Polar Xxpress is going to be the replacement theme. This theme just seems to be the typical LEGO January release, and I don't think they can go any further with the theme for there to be a second wave. Also, I think the replacement will be out either Summer 2013 or January 2014. But, I might be wrong.
  18. We'll probably get 1 or 2 more X-Men 'comic' based sets, and one or two a wave for the new cartoon.
  19. Really good point. The reason why LEGO has made the Ultimate Spiderman set is because LEGO knows that they wont have a liscense for a Spiderman Movie for a long time, as The Amazing Spiderman is planned to be a trilogy. Since LEGO has rights to the Marvel Cinematic Trilogy, it would be stupid to make sets based of the TV series when they could just use the movies as source material. On the other hand, the new X-Men show (which wont be out for at least a year) should have sets, as LEGO doesn't have rights to the films.
  20. Great review, 'def'! I think 2012 is the best year for LEGO Star Wars. I'm not even a Star Wars fan, and these sets look fantastic. This one doesn't disappoint, either. The figures are great, and the ship looks really cool. I hope LEGO does more sets for SW:TOR.
  21. A little bit late, but for the supporters of the MLP project, you guys should read this. From what I can tell, it's a response from Hasbro about the project. Quite interesting.
  22. Welcome to Eurobricks, 'Puffypolo79'! Tell us a bit more about yourself. What's your favorite LEGO theme? When did you start playing with LEGO bricks?
  23. Great review, 'lego_legis_legere'! I think this is a pretty cool set, and I originally wanted to pick this set up, but Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape came into my interest as the better pick-up truck. Now, once this goes on Target clearence next year, I'll pick it up.
  24. , and that's the first time I've ever seen it in real life! When in doubt, go to Walmart! I didn't buy it, though.
