Now taking YOUR ideas for the future of LEGO Pirates theme
Admiral M replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
Yes, you are right, I am glad that the bricks are so high quality, and the workers adequetly paid, but it is a fact that set prices have exploded over the decade. -

600 pieces for $100? That's almost 14 cents a piece! Still, hulls and masts aside, it would still be 550 pieces for $80, not near a good deal... -

By interior I mean that the top deck can be taken off. I don't think they would need that many pieces, perhaps more like 1000, which would be worth $150. Lego is so overpriced... -

Here is what I would like: An extention to soldiers fort to include something like the ITP- docks, a ship, and some buildings. It would be great if it could have civilians, too. A large, exclusive imperial ship, perhaps with 5 midsections and 5 cannon, a top deck, 3 masts, and a cabin below deck. It would have to be as realistic as possible, perhaps with interior, and it could be in the style of city corner, green grocer, ect. It would have to be less than $200 to sell well. We need better battlepacks, one for each side. -
Those are REALLY cool decals! The minifigs look great! Do you have any horses ? I don't know that much about military, but i'm pretty sure that cavalry rode horses .

sorry guys, I can't find my digital camera's cord and can't download pictures. I'll look some more, but you may have to wait.

Again, what we need is a storyline. Perhaps we can submit our ideas?
-
That would be a great idea for a MOC... and I'm next!

I don't think he drinks at all, it looks like he could be urinating whole bananas! I have came to the conclusion, based on the amount of times they've stripped us, that they are, in fact, jealous.
-
I hope so, the other 2 were vassals, I don't even know if they are still on Eurobricks. It would be OK with me, since I still have to post my MOCs.

Great ship, Bejaune! The blood effect is good, so are the faces. Actually, he got less red. Before he died, he strapped dynamite to the ship's hull. Should go off any minute now... Good luck!

Sorry for double posting, but I did a couple of things- 1: I realized that perhaps our group of survivors took shelter from the fallout in a church 3 miles outside of a town (now ruined), and they are using the material from that town to build shelters. That would make the church more well preserved, and be in stark contrast to the crude shelters surrounding it. 2. I built a small church for this purpose (it's 32x40): We need more polls and a solid storyline, Only then can we begin work on buildings. Edit: also, may I have spots 33 and 34? For a church parking lot turned marketplace and a watch tower?

but why would they make it from scratch? They have at least some stuff to work with in a small, ruined town.

Who are your other members?

Again, I am a vegetarian and miss out. Nope! I used a light blue torso with a white rubber band and red epaulettes !

Ah... so that's where that panneled hull went! Great MOC, Jordan! It really looks quite realistic for a ship, but I thought steampunk ships had balloons? Oh well, i'll find out in 2300! Great job, excellent hull!
-
It looks good, but are we building the town from scratch or are we rebuilding destroyed buildings? I prefer the second, and if so, than we should make squares 4,19,12,and 27 just plain walls, perhaps as they were streets once that were blocked off. Also, may I have square 32? Edit: so most squares are 8x8 studs? If so, then the central square (32) would be 16x16 or 32x32?

I agree, it is almost impossible to stay on topic with these threads!
-
Wow, how beautiful! That really is quite a ship, so many innovative techniques used! Do you have a plan for the stern?
-
Thanks, I took alot of inspiration from you and Derfel. Nice job on yours, by the way. Oh, and don't be thinking it will be so easy to invade this port- there'll be another, smaller island just to the right of this one, and it will house a fort with more cannons than your silly pirate brain can count. :pir-skull:

Nice moc, even nicer story! Indeed, blues are kinda obsessed with seeing redcoat guys in their underwear, so even if they had taken prisoners there, they still wouldn't have been able to have any fun...
-
All but one of these early rounds depict redcoats without pants! Clearly your guys must feel at least some envy for the redcoats's you know whats to be tourturing them in this manner! Honestly, get more creative. We've slow-roasted, stuffed, and provided fully clothed torment your guys, and almost all you've done is made us strip! I hope your men don't faint of amazement. But still, all MOC's very creative, that's a nice stage there, Cpt. Zuloo! I look forward to seeing the next MOC's

Yes, if it's anything like his Spanish Port MOC, I know it will be great! VIVA LA LW8

We're getting off topic here...

Good thing I'm not well known! Anyways, I am supposed to go third, but if our 2nd guy doesn't post by tomorrow, I will.
