Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum - Day Three
Hinckley replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
If I left you off the list, I apologize. You're close to the top of my list. I was a little hasty as the new info came in while I was reviewing my PMs the writing on the bathroom wall. People I trust Nurse Pendleton/Zepher-on the level and has discussed info with me in a way that leads me to believe she really wants to find the bad guys. Sorry. I meant he. -

Nope. One reason I'm not placing a vote yet. -

Let's see... Who do I trust? Salvatore Ricardo Samuels/Dragonator-Martin investigated him and found him to be Insane. He's the only one that can be trusted 100%. Professor Diem/Walter Kovacs-through private discussion and reading his tactics and thoughts in the thread, he's either innocent or a phenomenal actor. Stanley Susseman/CorneliusMurdock-seems level headed and has backed me up. Seems to actually be trying to find Sinisters. Washing Bear/Jim Butcher-I have gone back and forth here. I think he is innocent because of how his explanation of why he knew the King was innocent magically morphed without being punished. If you missed it, check closely. Evidence still exists. I believe he means it when he says he and the King knew each other in childhood and both know the other to be innocent. What worries me is that Dr. Bloodbrick tells us Washing Bear was not successful in his Night Action on Night 1 when no murder occurred, but he did say that Washing Bear was successful on Night 2 when 2 murders occurred. The King of Delaware-his connection with Washing Bear and his amateurish playing on the first day seem to indicate that he is innocent. Nurse Pepper/Bob the Construction Man-I'm beginning to see another possibility to the silence and flying under the radar that made me first find her suspicious. Ryan Catchers/Rick-so far seems on the level. I believe he's truly trying to weed out the Sinister People I don't trust Havel Pavlov/sok117-quoting rules from other games to try to throw us off and further throwing out random accusations makes me think he's trying to create confusion instead of just being an amateur at this game...of life. TamTam Timmers/Quarryman-way too quiet and needlessly flippant when he does speak. Seems up to something. Sandy Craws/Sandy-doesn't offer much for theories or information, but votes quickly with weak reasoning. Misty Monroe/badboytje88-flippant towards the death of our investigator but all agitated about puss brains with sinister intentions against us. Cat Manuel/The Penguin-why isn't he talking? Where is he? What's he hiding? Dr. Rajim/Admiral Ron-gave us info from the investigator on day one but hasn't brought us any info since. Nurse Penny/yumiyoshi-offers commentary but no strategy or info. Senor Canny Bolero/iamded, Lupo/Rufus, Dudley Eisenhower/mrlegoninja- low activity and not a lot of insight or helpful info when they do talk. Most importantly, someone has come to me with secondhand info from the investigator who originally brought Dr. Rajim the info about my night action. The person who brought me the info is afraid to reveal it in the thread, but I'm not. Apparently the night investigator has found that Washing Bear and the King of Delaware are Sinister. Is that true or is this person trying to manipulate me? Should we vote out the King of Delaware to find out? If he's innocent then Washing Bear will still have his night action and we will have the person who lied to me to vote off next. Like I said, The Sinister will probably kill me in the night, so I'll make sure to tell you who gave me this info before the sun sets... -

Good point. I've received more info. Let me be as explicit as I can. There are several people who seem to trust me which only leads me to believe I'll be killed tonight. I'm not long for this world, I can see the writing on the wall. I mean, I'm Jesus for Christ's sake. Living through to the end would be a fuckn miracle. First of all, I was protected by the one who claims to be the innocent protector. Why was I protected instead of Martin? Well, it seems our protector doesn't read very well or closely. Seriously, people. We are responsible to understand what's going on. Read thoroughly. Don't just skin through. There's more but I must consult my notes. Bear with me. -

We have a lot of reason to believe that Washing Bear is actually one of the most trustworthy. He seems connected to the King of Delaware and he was successfully at his elected night action last night. Haven't we been over the votes going for him in the beginning? I have some new information. Let me ask everyone's opinion before I reveal anything or act on it. If I was protected last night, wouldn't my night action still have worked? Is the protection just from death or is from a role blocker too? -

I trust you and am very suspicious of Nurse Pepper. I shall unvote: Sandy Craws/Sandy as another advisor has also spoken with me about. I shall think a bit more and see what other information may come up before I vote for Nurse Pepper, although that is most likely where my vote will go. I don't like to unvote and revote so fast though. Perhaps, in my haste to catch up, I went a little crazy on voting today... Did anybody learn anything new last night? Dr. Rajim, has the Night Investigator brought you any more pictures? -

That has been significant in other games...of life. This may not help with your feeling that I'm condescending, but are you reading what happens? I didn't reveal our investigator. Peanuts was the first to reveal it here: Up until then I had been careful to conceal the identity of the investigator I was talking to. After Peanuts revealed it, I went forward because it was easier to say Martin and he than our investigator and he/she. And Nurse Pendleton can explain how my defense seems like that of an innocent. From experience, liars act a certain way when confronted and it can be easy to see through or trip them up. Are you all voting for Ted Tompkins because he has been quiet or are there other reasons? If it's just because he hasn't said much please understand that (in real life) he's very ill right now and has just had some other issues prior that already put him a bit behind with things. He may be guilty, but if there aren't other reasons please reconsider. -

How am I causing confusion? I've brought some of the only clear evidence to this situation. -

Good idea. Can't have too many people with night actions around. Especially ones that may prove helpful. God only knows where that will lead. He's my Dad. Maybe I'll ask him. Look, everybody. Sandy Craws wants to vote off another Insane with a night action. Hmmm... Interesting trend for her, isn't it? I meant him. Whatever you are. -

No, I know it didn't work. Did you read what I wrote? I'll say it again. I thought I did it, but woke up and realized it was only a dream. I didn't wake up at all, leading me to believe I was drugged. So, somebody probably tried to block me. That's the only way I would've slept through the night wanting to save Martin's life. I would've done anything to save him last night and I slept the night away. Seems like I was blocked. He actually never announced his role. Nice try. Vote: Sandy Craws (Sandy) -

Don't you Jebus me. There was plenty of time to get involved in the discussion and Martin clarified very precisely after you tossed out your vote. It was way too easy for you. It surprised me at the time and it's even more surprising that your only defense now is that the first vote was abrupt. He explained that he finally figured out his investigation result. His explanation after the first vote was much more viable than your piddly defense now, Santa-pants. Then I'm agreeing with you. Who should we vote for then, Mr. Snippy? And I said Trucks was killed by the Insane Vigilante, not that he was. Idiot. Learn how to read listen. -

Tell us? I don't know, maybe you should share your theories and see if any of them are something for us to go on. Really? The dark puss infecting his brain and the doctor saying he had sinister intentions against the hospital? That wasn't a good idea to get rid of black sinister puss brain?? Yes, perhaps this is a good place to start. Weed out those who are trying to fly under the radar. They are most likely up to no good. All I remember you saying is "This is too confusing! I can't vote." And then after the majority was voting Shadows, you then came back and voted for him. Considering you gave him his cloak which he wasn't allowed makes me think you are more than sympathetic towards him. Perhaps a Sinister working with a black-puss-brain? Very suspicious Nurse Pepper. Were you not listening yesterday? I admitted that it was me. That's how I use my night action... Pay attention. This appears to be your tactic. You offer not much more than commentary. Perhaps you are on the side of the Sinisters and don't want to appear inactive, so you insult and comment to look like you are participating, but nothing you say helps us out. No, I meant the non-insane. Ugh. This is so convoluted and confusing. We have three factions, apparently. Insane, Sinister and Not Insane. Pay attention people. Lives are at stake. My main suspicion is towards Sandy Craws who obtusely voted against Martin Century very quickly yesterday without much reasoning and then added nothing else to the investigations while being one of the only ones who didn't see the evidence for what it was: the truth. Perhaps she knew it was the truth and was hoping to sway other to kill of a member with a powerful role so they could use their kill on another during the night. Speaking of the night's deaths. The death of Sparky Trunks was likely an Insane vigilante trying to help us out and missing the mark. It's a possibility anyway. -

I haven't read the entire thread yet listened to any of you today, but is there only one space brother in this picture? Is the other run off somewhere? Who else is missing? Well, it's also possible that my night action hasn't worked because you are not insane either. I tried it on you both nights and ended up unsuccessful. I think the picture showed me injecting you though, so perhaps it was only because I tried to switch you with a non-insane on the first night and was blocked last night. -

No, that's not how it works. Read the rules. There's an order to things. I would imagine I'd be able to save someone before they were killed. I think I was blocked. I thought I did do it but it turned out to be a dream, which makes me think I was drugged. I slept through the night without even waking. I would've done anything to save Martin, so someone must've intervened. I supposed I'm next... -

I tried to make the switch last night but was unsuccessful. I tried to switch Martin with King of Delaware. Not sure why it didn't work. This is odd... -
It is now trans-brown. Don't say keep on brickin. It's getting old.

Thanks to everyone who participated in this contest. It was wildly successful and I think we will run another one next year. One thing's for certain, if LEGO produced a Winter Village Train Station, half as good as the ones in this contest, people would certainly buy them. That being said, it was an incredibly tight race for the third place slot in this contest. Everyone built such amazing creations, it's hard to see people walk away without a prize, so everyone will at least be getting a unique tag for being a participant in the first Expand the Winter Village contest. If you are lobo, chupko, or any of the other new accounts that registered to vote, please login and join the staff for a little conversation. Thank you. Results will be up as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.

He took his proxy back and voted for Martin. When I had his vote I used it for Shadows. Def's tally is accurate.
-
OK, so if one came back as insane and one as not insane with no color, then Shadows must be telling the truth about being independent. But, I believe he is still a huge danger. He could be a serial killer or have chosen the side of the Sinister. Too dangerous to keep around, in my opinion. And to clarify, because someone asked me to privately, I had missed that my night action only works on the unprotected insane. I was assuming it didn't work on Shadows because he was protected, but the timing of my receiving a reminder makes me think that it is because he isn't insane. This game is giving me a headache.
-
I've been thinking about it and it's possible that I could save someone's life if I think someone is going to be killed or targetted by the Sinister. If I think they'll go after the investigator I can switch the investigator with a non-action insane to spare the life of the one with the important role. Also, if it doesn't work, it reveals that someone is either not insane or has been protected. I did explain it earlier when I first revealed my role. But I shall do so again: I thought the King to be innocent due to his amateurish flip-flopping and voting for everyone. I though Shadows, due to his lack of involvement, could potentially be sinister. I thought the night action worked on innocent and bad guys so I thought if Shadows was Sinister and a killer or converter, if I switched him with someone he would lose that power for the night. It didn't work and while it wasn't confirmed why, I was told to re-read the description of my role as I had missed something. This was after I first revealed my post explaining that I thought Shadows was protected and that's why my night action didn't work. The request to re-read my description came after I made that post, leading me to believe it didn't work because Shadows is not insane as the daytime investigator had the exact same finding. I admit, this is just us trying to make sense out of our roles and the results we got on the first day. I'm not fully sure what our findings mean yet. Killing Shadows could be a test of our roles and what results we are getting. If he's killed and revealed to be Sinister, we know that Not Insane means Sinister. If he is a neutral, then we'll find out what else he might've been up to. I don't think killing Martin will gain us anything and could end up being a big loss for us... I know it's not solid, but for me, it's all I have to go on. I understand why people would be hesitant to go along. I would be if I weren't me right now. I misspoke. Two investigations means that Martin investigated him (I didn't realize Martin had revealed this in the thread, but I guess it's obvious) and that my night action revealed the same info. So, while my night action wasn't an investigation, it revealed that Shadows is not insane since my action only works on the insane. ! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Sorry. I believe Martin has the power to investigate. Don't kill him. Kill Shadows and we'll see if our theories are correct. This game is hard...
-
I don't know why people are changing their votes to Martin. Maybe it's because he was so "my way or now way" at the beginning of the day and then switched votes sporadically before offering explanation. I could see that. However, should we vote for someone that is suspected to be Sinister? Or vote somebody out that two investigations have revealed is not insane. We knows the good guys are The Insane. Even if Shadows is not Sinister what is someone who's Not Insane doing in an insane asylum anyway? I have a strong feeling he's either lying about being neutral and is Sinister, or he's independent and up to no good. Either way, I don't think he should be trusted.
-
The only thing I said to you privately was "Oh, OK." It was sarcastic as I don't plan to fall for your lies in private. As for everything else you've said, I find no reason to defend myself. I'm telling the truth. That's what I've found, I've claimed they were my theories. I think I'm making good educated guesses. I'm confident my side of the story would prove true if I'm killed during the night or executed during the day. I have no worries about that.
-
The investigator figured out the finding after getting the results on day two. So the investigator had a different view of how the findings read until the results from Day Two showed up. My accusations against you aren't baseless. They're based on the results of two night (day) actions. You aren't offering much in the form of alliance or helping to explain what we've found and yes, the leaking of your confidential file, by you, has made it's way around and if we are to believe it, it does say you can choose sides. The way you are behaving makes me believe you have something to hide. You're acting like a cornered and dangerous animal. I explained to you my view of why an independent and a neutral are different and you just roll your eyes. You told me yourself you believed that there were no neutrals here based on information you've received. If there are no neutrals, who have no allegiances, there was a reason you were told you were independent. It's different than neutral. You can choose sides. So why haven't you proxied your vote to Peanuts yet?
-
No, I'm certainly not sure. Please don't mistake that. That is my theory based on my night action turning up a similar result to the Investigator. Neutral doesn't have an allegiance, isn't on either side. Independent could choose to be on either side. Don't turn on me. I'm trying to figure things out. You don't seem to have a logical explanation to these findings and you're getting defensive. In my view, this is making you look more suspicious. I do not believe that you are neutral. You told me you were independent and could choose sides. I believe you will choose sides and I believe you'll go with the Sinister because it'd be more fun for you to win that way. I don't see how Martin is a threat. You seem like a threat because you can switch your allegiance if it suits you. Even if you told us you are siding with us, you can switch allegiances without telling us and in a situation like this it's too much of a risk for the innocent to take. You're dangerous. I'm sorry, that's a very powerful role you have, to be able to choose sides. I think we should get rid of you because of that. No hard feelings. Trust me. I know. But since the investigator didn't make sense of his/her findings until he/she saw the insane vs. the non-insane and we put it together with the results of my night action, this is the theory I'm working on. Please understand that is my theory. But, it's an educated theory and since this game is a little insane for some reason, I wouldn't be surprised if our night actions weren't a little cookey. Yes, the investigator I am speaking with claims to only be able to investigate during the day. I'm not sure that the person who took that picture was a night investigator or just a watchmen, who can see who's out and about.
-
Read it again: the good guys are the insane. The bad guys are not the insane. Sinister Insane or Insane. Insane or not Insane. Townie or Not Townie. It's the different between scum and not townie. That make sense? I know this is all a lot to take in. Right now, I trust Martin (Stash), but I do not trust Kevin Marshall (Shadows). But, these are just my opinions from the information I've learned. One last time: My night action works on unprotected insane members of this ward. Last night it didn't work, I assume because Shadows in not insane. The investigator found Shadows to be not insane on the first day and another player to be insane on the second day. My theory is that the Sinister insane are considered not insane. Even if Shadows is independent as he claims, he has told me and the investigator and some others who I won't drag into this unless they want to be that he can choose whichever side he wants. He can choose sides! You want a free agent running around out there? One who is adept at lying? I don't. Well, those are my thoughts. I hope they make sense. I hope I'm right. Only time will tell.
