Doctor Dalton Dog was driving down the tree-lined streets of Fabuland looking for citizens in distress, when he came across an old lady sitting on the side of the road. "Is everything all right, Ma'am?" Doctor Dalton Dog asked. "Oh, help me." The old lady cried, "I was having chest pains and pulled over. I need a doctor!" "Well, you're in luck," Doctor Dalton Dog said, "I just happen to be...wait a minute. You're just that Mafia Goon, Pauly Pig, in a bad Homemaker wig." "That's not true," Pauly Pig said, "It's a very nice wig." "You're just going to shoot me." Doctor Dalton said as he began to back away. "No, I'm not going to shoot you." Pauly Pig said, "That would be boring. I have a much more creative death planned...I mean, help, my chest hurts. I'm an old lady. Help." "I didn't come back to help Fabuland only to die by being stupid," Doctor Dalton said as he backed away across the street, "It won't be that easy to get rid of Doctor Dalton Dog!" That's when Bruno Bear drove up in his biplane and liquified Doctor Dalton Dog's head with the propeller. The Mafia Goons had a good laugh at their trickery. "I told him I wasn't going to shoot him," laughed Pauly Pig, "Where'd you get the airplane, anyway?" "What?" Bruno Bear asked, "What does it matter? You want realism or something. I made it from scratch, you megablock. Who cares where it came from, we just used it to shred that old dog's head." The pair burst into laughter again. "I like your wig." I also thought you did a great job finding a balance of how much to post. It was enough to keep you from being voted out and (almost) enough to avoid being targeted by the scum. It's so unfortunate that you ended up being the lovers. To tell you the truth, it's my fault for mixing up your character description with Gavin's. But having someone's affiliation confirmed to you comes with a prize, even if it's my fault. So sorry. I hope you can forgive me. Yeah, you totally called it. It was a rough night. I hated to see all four of you go. Grades will be up although they only matter for two of you. Great work to the four of you, I would've liked to see you hang around longer. That's the hard part of hosting mafia games: killing your friends.

It used to happen here. I decided to bring it back for this game to make things a little more clear. Not sure it was the best idea as the graduates won't have that help again in the future. Although, sometimes it is revealed through pictures anyway.

Players only please! Late into the night a dark figure ran towards the park with Pauly Pig and Bruno Bear close behind. "What's this all about?" Pauly Pig asked. "That pig who killed Holly Hippo just ran into the park." The dark figure explained. "Literal pig?" Bruno Bear asked. "No, figurative pig." The dark figure answered. "Is that like figurative sus..." Bruno Bear started. "Don't even start that shit." Pauly Pig said. Another dark figure hid behind a tree nearby, overhearing the conversation between the Mafia goons. "Who cares about that Hippo?" Bruno Bear asked, "She wasn't a member of The Mafia." "I care." The dark figure said, "Her killer murdered her because he thought she was a goon. Now cover this park and don't let that pig get away." As soon as Bruno and Pauly were out of sight, the second dark figure snuck out and shot the first one. Franklin Fox (Alopex) collapsed to the ground, dead. The dark figure stood over him, making sure he was dead. "I was wrong about your wife, but I had you figured, you Mafia pig." The dark figure said. But he should've gone home instead of monologuing. Bruno Bear had doubled back when he heard the gunshot and took out the second dark figure with a round of machine gun fire to the brain. Payton Pig (Pandora) the Town Vigilante lay dead next to Franklin Fox (Alopex) the Mafia Blocker. Meanwhile, Gregor Goat returned home after a long night of protecting the town. He loved Fabuland and wanted to protect it's members from harm. As long as there was a Mafia threat, he would do his best to keep his friends safe. Arriving to his bedroom, he called out to Gavin and then remembered that Gavin was gone. He began to cry...which lead to uncontrollable and heavy sobs. How he missed his true love and couldn't imagine how he would get through life without him. Gregor Goat (Rumble Strike) the Town Doctor collapsed to the ground and died from grief... In the morning, the dwindling group of Fabuland citizens met at City Hall to find out if Randy Rabbit had been a member of The Town or The Mafia. "I am pleased to announce that your friend Randy Rabbit (Alex the Great) was able to convince me that he was an innocent member of The Town." The Mayor told them. "Hooray!" The citizens of Fabuland cried. "So when will my husband be coming home?" Betsy Bunny asked. "Um..." Mayor Langston Lion began, "Well, he's being kept in a safe place until this ordeal is over. Yeah, that's right. He's in a nice hotel and enjoying delicious room service and...um...a hot tub, too. Yeah, that sounds good. In other news, a very special Fabuland citizen has returned to us!" "Doctor Dalton Dog is here," Mayor Langston Lion said, "He has returned to support us in our quest against the Mafia scum!" "Hooray!" Everyone cried. ____________________ The Rules: Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Town or the Mafia. To win the game, the Town must kill off all the Mafia, while the Mafia needs to outnumber the Town. Each day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. You heard The Mayor say he killed Marcus. Do you want them to kill me too?" "They only killed him because he was scum," Betsy said, "You must be scum too or you wouldn't be afraid of dying. You haven't made any sense all day. You've been neglecting our marriage and now you're begging for my help because you're scared. I'm not sure why you've been so distant, but I'm willing to leave you to The Mayor's goons to see if it's because you've become involved in The Mafia. Goodbye Randy." Betsy Bunny slammed the door and locked it. Bruno Bear and Pauly Pig were there to collect Randy Rabbit before he could even think of running off. "I'm not a member of The Mafia," Randy Rabbit cried, "You guys know that. Don't let The Mayor kill me. Just please let me leave town. I just want to live." "Don't worry, little rabbit," Pauly Pig said, "If you're innocent, The Mayor will keep you in a safe place until this is all over. You have no reason to be afraid." With that, the goons escorted Randy Rabbit to City Hall to be interrogated by The Mayor. ________________________ Day 2 is over. Lesson 5, part 2: Don't listen to yourselves Where are the clues? Not in the dialogue the host has you saying. In my game in particular, the dialogue I give to characters is only furthering the narrative. There are no clues in what the characters say in the intro. That would not be fair to the players if I gave any clues in what they said. EDIT: Obviously, if a character is about to meet their demise in a day opener, their dialogue will hint towards their affiliation because their affiliation is about to be revealed anyway. If the host has a living player say something, don't look for clues there. Of course, if people about to be killed say something, there's a small chance there may be a teeny-weeny clue in there.

It's hard to know what to do the first time. Your defense wasn't too strong and you seemed to give up pretty easily. That is a normal response and you'll learn with time how to defend yourself. Based on that I could give you an incomplete or pass you. However, being scum, you didn't communicate with your scum team at all. Without working with them, there was no way to form a plan of defense. These games are fun but they need some effort and work on your part. Players only please! The townsfolk all met at Hunter's Pub and drank late into the night. And they didn't drink water. They are adults and they drank beer and hard liquor. It took the edge off of a stressful situation. This made them human, not evil. No water was served. Lily Lamb was particularly distraught over not having her husband around and what could possibly become of him. Could he actually be a Mafia goon? As the night grew later, most of the Fabuland residents returned home. Gavin Gorilla was one of the last to leave the pub. "Hey," Pauly Pig called to him, "Want to play a game?" "Oh! I love games!" Gavin cried happily, "What game would you like to play? I am particularly fond of Parcheesi!" "Let's play cops and robbers," Pauly Pig suggested. "Oh, what fun!" Gavin Gorilla cried, "Should I be a cop or a robber?" "Why don't you be the robber," Pauly Pig suggested, "You'll be running out of the bank and I'll shoot at you." "I think it'd be much more fun to be the cop," Gavin Gorilla said, "Give me the gun." "We'll take turns," Pauly Pig said, "I'll play the cop first." "Sounds fair," said Gavin Gorilla, "Let's play!" Gavin started out the fun game by crying, "You'll never take me alive!" Bang! "I suppose you were correct," Pauly Pig laughed, "I won't be taking you alive. Heh he he." Holly Hippo was the first to discover the gruesome sight. "Help!" She screamed when she saw Gavin's head blown open in a pool of blood, "Somebody help! Police! Doctor Dalton! Oh crap, he left town because of the Mafia problem. Somebody help!!" But nobody could hear her as the pub was empty. Nobody except for a dark figure with a revolver... "Die, you bitch!" The figure remarked coldly. "Me?" Holly Hippo asked, "But why? I'm not scum..." Bang! And with that, Holly Hippo joined Gavin Gorilla in the ever-growing pool of blood outside Hunter's Pub. In the morning everyone showed up early, eager to hear if Marcus Mouse had been a member of the mafia or not. "I'm not sure it was legal for you to kill him." Chief Brody suggested. "Why did you kill him?" Lily Lamb asked, "Couldn't we have re-habilitated him through the prison system?" "It's best to get rid of the scum and free our town from their crime and murder." The mayor answered. "Unfortunately, you lost two ... um ... we lost two innocent members of The Town last night. Gavin Gorilla (Dannylonglegs) and Holly Hippo (KingoftheZempk) were both gunned down outside Hunter's Pub last night. We have conducted investigations and found that they were, indeed, innocent member of The Town." Franklin Fox stood there in shock. "My wife is gone?" He cried, "I wondered why she didn't come home but figured she slept with Langston like she usually does. When will this madness end? However will I go on?" Gregor Goat was in tears. "My angel!" He sobbed, "Somebody killed my little angel. We must stop this madness!!" Lesson 5, part 1: So you got lucky Yes, congratulations, you convicted scum on your first day. That's an amazing feat for Mafia School. Make sure, however, that the reason you got this conviction was shear dumb luck. Marcus Mouse worked for the mayor in my comic, yes. But that is not why he was scum in this game. Roles are assigned this way: I take three cups. The first cup contains all the EB member names who are playing the game. The second contains all the character names. The third cup contains role/affiliations. I make one player at a time by choosing one paper from each cup. It's done that randomly. Case in point: in my comic, Holly Hippo was having an affair with Mayor Langston Lion. Is she scum? No. You can see, now that she's dead that she was a member of The Town. Don't metagame again. The info from my comic will not help you. You cannot win by basing your decisions off the source material. I would be a terrible host if I based roles and affiliations off of the comic.
