  1. I think this game forum netiquette in megablocking general has a rule about not posting talking in all caps so loudly.
  2. That's hilarious coming from a man with a female avatar. So, you don't like what? about these female sets? Unique colors and pieces? Cool new molds like cupcakes? Lots of windows? Lot of price points to affordably get new pieces and colors? I'm a man and I'll be getting quite a few of these. I like them a lot.
  3. I'm getting Private questions (notes attached to potatoes) asking why my medicine is goofy. I'd rather not have any private conversations at this point, sorry, this place gets me on edge. So, I'll just tell everyone here. My medicine lets me do something that doesn't really seem to effect the game. It's just annoying. I think it's meant to just cause a little confusion and make the place seem like an insane asylum. I don't see the point...
  4. Is anyone else's medicine...weird? I was thinking that perhaps the medicine would randomly assign people to Fraulein Bloobrick's "team" but if everyone else's medicine is similar to what I got, then it's just particularly...goofy, for lack of a better word.
  5. Did he not confirm or something?
  6. Powdered Rhino Horn for me! Is anyone else completely flabergasted that this new Dr has shot one of our own before she was even able to speak to us about anything? I wonder why a player in this great game ... of life would be killed before they were able to metaphorically play. I hope it's safe to assume that she wasn't our investigator. What the hell is going on? Yes, the staff is dead too, but that's no big loss, really. The Space Police are here now, I guess that's an OK replacement. Dr. Bloodbrick, your father was nice, he didn't go around shooting any of us...unless we were convicted...whatever that means. I wasn't here when all of that happened but I have a pretty good idea of what transpired. I hope my powdered Rhino horn has the effect it's supposed to have. It doesn't seem like traditional medicine, but who am I to question the new Dr who came in and shot one of us?
  7. *applauds* I am too awesome for words, but you always make such a valiant effort, my love.
  8. Everything I have to say about this review, I've blogged.
  9. Oh! Do you know Fanglish?? It's my favorite dialect of whatever that is you're speaking.
  10. Who let the megablocking crazy in?
  11. I'm willing to bet you can't read with all of those tattoos on your eyes, so I probably won't bother talking to you. Your face is a shithole.
  12. Hi Sassy Cooter. You have the best name, probably ever.
  13. It's good to see you here, Boo. I hope you have the opportunity to make it past Day One this time.
  14. Hi, I'm Hung Lowly and I'm a dick. At least, I think that's my name. Draxia, let's go make babies. Oh, I love coed mental hospitals.
  15. I'm worried too and I'm up too late and I should've just gone to bed. That's the last one I remember that didn't allow PMs. That's not really standard anymore. So I'm not sure why you referenced it. Either way, I love you. Except when I hate you. which I actually still love you during. Well, he never died in that game, so how would he have seen the dead one. I was very tight-lipped with all three writeboards, especially the dead one. Check the discussion thread for Witch Hunt. Because you blatantly say it's not possible so it encourages people to break the rule! We weren't allowed to PM during Belville and nobody did. I can't remember another game where it wasn't allowed and yes it did happen and that's why PMs started being allowed, but as we grow as a community of mafia gamers, we have a stronger honor code than we used to.
  16. Actually that's totally untrue. I read more of it than you did, but I stayed pretty well out of your business. You're insinuating that I cheat when I host? Guess you won't be playing in any more of my games. This is seriously rude and insulting. Don't start with me. Ask the people who actually read the writeboard. I didn't interject unless asking for night actions or answering a direct question. And telling Pie to read things. Maybe that is more than Pie posted, since he was useless... No, Shadows, that's despicable. I don't try to influence games after I die, anymore... , but seriously, posting something like this makes it seem like it's OK. Most people I know don't meddle in games once they're dead and if anyone's doing it, they're cheaters and should be ashamed of themselves. If someone has to cheat to play a game, they shouldn't be playing it. And as far as I knew, people didn't PM each other during Quarry's game. And how would you know Shadows, you were scum in that game, so you were allowed to PM. So no, I can't bet it happens unless the person is such a loser they have to cheat at an online strategy game.
  17. You're surprised? How did I not know this is possible? I would imagine I would've tried this before. I must've either tried it on a regular 1x4x3 window with shutter tabs or tried it on the 1x1x2 modified brick with shutter tabs and couldn't think how to get that around a window or perhaps it doesn't close normally at that distance? Whatever the case, it's great to see that it works and opens up a ton of possibilities for me and other members of the Fabuland Builders Guild. Way to be a pioneer for the cause. This is so fantastic Quarryman. I love all your little space builds and the super clever stuff you bring to Brickworld. You always surprise me with great MOCs and you build in such a fantastic range. What an awesome hut for a happy walrus! And I really believe he would've built it that way himself. It has a nice mix of modern molds, but made mostly with classic brick in a clever way. You even got the obligatory frog in there! Is there perhaps another way to achieve the curved and sloped second floor? It seems a little too gappy. Waldemar may have trouble sleeping at night due to the draft in his bedroom. Other than that, this is too adorable for words! You better buy some more Fabuland parts on Bricklink. Once you start with the FBG there's no looking back. And I just no there's a certain sheepdog that needs a home.
  18. You have an unhealthy fixation on Clone O'Patra's opinion. And I'm not referring to your fake olive branch here. I'm referring to over 20 accounts you created to vote on his reviews and leave comments. Stop it. People have opinions that differ from yours. Such is life. Move on.
  19. Who would do that? That's cheating...
  20. Aha, so first thing I would say is: Don't title a topic like you're in the middle of a conversation. Like this topic we're in, you've started with the word "OK..." That's not a title, it's an interjection. It already implies annoyance, impatience and, inadvertently, inexperience. You've actually typed too much for the thread title and the full idea isn't even there. The titles that fallenangel referenced were all posted in the Sci-Fi forum and yet you repetitively redundantly address Sci-Fi builders. You don't need that in the title, you're in the Sci-Fi forum. An appropriate title for this topics would've been, for example "Posting Habits" with a possible description of "Is there a protocol to follow here?" Secondly, what is being suggested by others is not to post every question that pops into your mind as a new topic. Some questions we come up with may make a good discussion topic. Not every question that occurs to you is worthy of a whole discussion. Think about what would make the most interesting discussion and if other people would actually want to add to what your questions and thoughts are. Or guide the discussion a little more with some thorough insight instead of random musings. Really talk about what colors you use and why and how you decide the secondary and tertiary colors. And provide examples of what works and what doesn't. You say you haven't sorted or built anything yet, so why talk about something you haven't actually put into practice? What's the point in talking about what colors you use when you haven't, in fact, used any yet? Like anything, you get out what you put in. If you just spit out random thoughts, you're not going to get anything hugely concrete in return. Provide a thorough discussion topic and you still might not get responses, but at least you have a good reference of some technique and thinking. Right now, they're just random whims of curiosity that don't necessarily lead anywhere. Finally, you can look around and read other topics and read other parts of the forum and read the site guidelines and learn for yourself how things are done here by observing and participating. Not just coming in, doing whatever you want, and then expecting people to explain it to you what to do instead. Become part of the community organically. If you observe and learn how we post here, you may not even like it in the long run. And let me be quite honest, you are one great example of why you need to be at a certain post count to start a poll. You can't come in here and start 100 polls just because the poll feature is cool. Once you've been around for a while you see how we use polls and you see why polls are started and what type of polls people answer and you know when to use it and not abuse it. I can't tell you how to be a good poster. You have to learn how to be a part of the community on your own. Yes, ask any question you like in a welcome topic or in General topics in the General or Website forum or maybe even a topic like this, we are here to help and our members are usually very helpful, but just look around and observe and you'll learn what the community is like. I hope this doesn't come off as too harsh. You asked a question so I've given you an honest answer. I thought about it and gave a thorough response. So, I hope it helps and I hope you can be a part of the community now and in the future. Best of luck.
  21. That is surprisingly effective. Thanks for sharing this with us. I am now much more impressed with this set as a whole. It looks really complete. I could see this developed a bit further into a modular high rise!
  22. I think fallenangel said it was the "relevance" of the topic that seemed to cause low responses. But there are certainly members here who love dealing in hypotheticals, so I wouldn't worry about that. Your question is about your topics seeming redundant to other members but not being able to find the correct topic to post in. Most recurrent discussions, popular threads and indices are pinned at the top of each forum. Discussion are often listed in the Main Index of each theme forum. Corweena showed you how to use the "Advanced" search. If there's any other way to help you, it would be to link to the specific threads in question. Maybe if we can see exactly what you're posting, we'd be in a better spot to help you out.
