No you will use Mirkwood scouts..... for LEGO those are all the same.... Its pretty simple.... You think they will include both Eagle and LARGE bats? and wargs or will you use warg from Mirkwood elf army.... LEGO obviously looks on the matter differently....

I would be surprised if we get an armored ELF after getting MIRKWOOD ELF ARMY!

Well I just hope BOFA set will have enough armies that I can justify buying 2 or even more.... a 60$ set should have atleast 5-7 figs! out of those atleast 3-4 generic!

Theoden and Snowmane just should be in the set.... since thats why Eowyn even stood against Witch king... they are the main point of the confrontation between the Witch King and Eowyn/Merry And they can always do a brickbuilt DEAD Olifont that nearly killed Merry. Much better than a piece of Minas Tirith.

No way they can make decent Witch King Showdown without atleast 40$ set..... You need: Witch King Fell Beast Theoden Snowmane(YES) Eowyn Merry thats 4 figs and 2 ''animals'' Thats never a 30$ set to me.... Balrog can be a 30$ set with Gandalf and maybe a Moria Orc or Boromir/Frodo in it....

This exactly.... LOTR fans are going WTF and others are not buying those stuff..... I have a feeling LEGO just got this license together with Hobbit and has no real idea what to do with it.....

Noone hates him.... its just funny/sad whatever that LEGO chose to make a character who has no SCREEN TIME unless you get extended edition but so far ignroed much more important figures let it be named (Eowyn, Faramir, Witch King) or Generic (Gondor Soldiers, haradrim,) Hell I would even say a Tower Guard would appeal to kids much more than Mouth does.

most if not all of us here hope that :) 1 wave of 5 sets is imo enough.... just 5 more sets and we can have most of important stuff and even locations in those 5 sets.

Ofcourse we did not expect to have Fellowship in LEGO..... But once you have it you do not think that way, but you think why is there LEGO Mouth of Sauron but not Gondorian Soldier... or Faramir.... who are 10 times more seen and more important things in LOTR universe than Mouth.... You also think why is the Corsair Ship and no Minas Tirith.... And so on and on....

That is not an event from Hobbit time.... just saying.

The White Council laid waste to Dol Guldur... not 1 person.... it was an ARMY! Remember.... Saruman gave green light for assembling ARMY to assault Dol Guldur.... Galadriel did not ride in alone and destroyed everything there....

that Mumakil from LEGO game would be amazing... imagine that Mumakil instead of Black Gates and in the set you put: Mumakil leader, archer, Rohan Soldier on horse x2 Haradrim warrior on ground with shield and spear..... Would buy it so many times!

Exactly... Gandalf is presumably more powerful than Galadriel..... I dont even want to think how much is Tolkien slapping himself for what is happening in Dol Guldur and in Hobbit overall....

Gondorian Soldier..... rest I can easily skip... afterall you can make Eowyn from Eomer Torso you can also make Faramir from Gondorian soldier torso (when he assaults Osgilliath and fails) so pretty much only Witch king is not MOCable without Gondor soldier.

Whats wrong with the whip? I seen MOCs using the same ''whip'' flames build..... sure its not action friendly... but display friendly it sure is.... I love Gondor but i am not sure how important is Denethor.... And i am also not sure if i would prefer a set that only features new Denethor over Balrog..... Sure i would trade Balrog for a set like uruk-hai Army just in Gondor style

i want to see you build this exact Balrog with LEGO official pieces :) I know i cant! Balrog is far more interesting set than most of the stuff save Gondorian soldiers and possibly Eowyn and Faramir..... Treebeard anyone can MOC with 20-40 extra pieces customizing that Ent..... but to make Such Balrog as above.... hardly... if i could get such set for display that would look amazing!
