  1. From the LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors thread: Aha so you're one of the reasons that the new magnetsets are sold out already
  2. Very nice indeed. It has the starwars feeling and fits right in. Is it just made from bricks of the Separatist Shuttle? (except for the windscreen that is)
  3. Thanks, yours is indeed a big improvement. Well done But for obvious reasons (stability) we can never expect such from TLC. You could still add the head support using this item in light grey, instead of the brown 2x1. Also your reference picture is much more detailed, thanks for that too.
  4. It looks allright, but I cant remember how the old one was. Could you post a reference picture? Old and MOD? Thanks. Here's the one in the movie, from wookieepedia.
  5. Oops sorry, misread But than again, with a few changes it could be made into one.
  6. Quick search on youtube; epic scene - breath taking TLC, we need a bigger Shuttle...
  7. The T2-B repulsor tank. Well known to those who played Star Wars Empire at War. You've made a great start, but to make it really look like the T2-B the part you need to alter/redesign a bit is the turret. I like the fact that it's small, even if it's smaller in size than the "real" one is. And that it can hold a minifigure. Well done so far.
  8. You actually did it yourself?! ...now that's scary
  9. Great MOC/MOD It looks good in black, even if it's not a rebel colour. Watch out Red, Green, Blue, Gold here comes Black squadron No problem with the different colours, you've gotta do what you gotta do with the parts you have.
  10. Sold out already on S@H, I havent even had a chance to order it... It's strange TLC released a product and miscalculate that much, let's hope they produce more.
  11. Yes, pure beauty ...and absolutly priceless. The 200 dollars mentioned is a laugh, knowing the regular chrome version goes for about 100 dollars/euros.
  12. Absolutly fabulous Finally the pictures are up, I already took a peak at this when KimT posted up his links. This is the one of those scenes that made a huge impression on me when I was young and saw the movie for the first time. I can almost hear the soundtrack Imperial March just looking at your scene. The number of minifigures is awesome and the amount of death star troopers is most impressive. Did you use black troopers torso's for the imperial pilots? Tarkin is acting as Moff Jerjerrod, haha You didnt miss the Crown Prince and mister Lego But no picture of them watching this awesome display?! And yes, your sons are the most important MOCs Great job, you both enjoyed yourselfs.
  13. Well, that's something I definitly wouldnt do to my minifigures. I mean; she must have practiced it too... poor minifigures. To come up with this bet is brilliant though. But how she knew it was Han Solo and not Luke Skywalker from another set? I agree with Commander_Rob, some minifigures like the stormtrooper and imperial pilot are exactly the same shape. @Captain Green Hair:
  14. What?! You missed him?! I thought you made this picture. That must be a major bummer...
  15. That's very cool KimT He looks very interested and not just taking a glimbs but actually studying the scene, hanging over the fence! Maybe he's a Starwars fan? ... maybe even an EB member After this I can imagine you can take on the world
  16. Agreed, good work ADHO15 amazing fast
  17. Good question Bobskink. Especially since the release of the white-boba, but these are lacking printings the "official" one has. Cant help the feeling they are some sort of customs. But I think they look great no matter what. Why not also buy the yellow and black? Than you've got the colours complete. I'm stunned you've got official grey and green boba helmets?! I've heared of the red Darth Vader helmet, but thats it.
  18. This looks a little weird, but the main question is why? Why would you ask for this combination? That's interesting.
  19. Most impressive For your first diorama this is absolutly one fabulous display. If the train station was as bad as you said, than this has made it disappear from our collective memory. And yes, the Mon Calamari didnt join the rebellion untill after Hoth but they sure look great in this scene! The pillars worked out great. The doors and its opening are well designed. And the number and variety of minifigures (181!) is tremendous. And def is right this is the photo that captures the scene best Looking forward to your next project for next years event!
  20. Amazing ACPin The size of it alone is jaw breaking. And just looking at the number of minifigures in it, staggering. I like the design with a sublevel (with elevators!), great. There are just so many details... You probably had to break down your whole collection to make it. Is that a new vehicle?! An AT-AT on wheels Great job
  21. Awesome MOD Great work on recreating scenes inside the MF, deadon, and your photography deserves credits, great shots inside I think Smokebelch can only agree with this! I love Luke Skywalker in his turret seat and the hallway picture. I see you put a lot of effort in the sublight engine but also the cockpit and frontlights, thats adding some great extra features! Well done, thumbs up
  22. No, dont get me wrong, the recent ones are fine as they are, but the old 7143 Jedi Starfighter with its landing gear that was kind of unstable and the changes made by TLC on Anakin's improved this. Therefore I was wondering if they could improve it more, cant remember if Ahsoka's is different from Anakins - I would have to check. Just a feature I didnt notice before and wasnt in set 7656. I think TLC did a great job on improving playability by adding this. It's like the ones on the 7679 TX-130S Fighter Tank and 7664 Tie Crawler. Thanks, but I just deeplinked them. Tyleraf is the one who found them.
  23. Vacation's over KimT, you've got work to do on the news topic! Thanks to Tyleraf's link with high resolution pictures.
  24. Thanks Tyleraf for those high resolution pictures Deeplinked I'm afraid that the tactical droid in the CTT has been removed from the final version. These pictures look finished and official. There was some discussion on the pilot in the Hoth Wampa Cave set before and in my opinion they used the same pilot (Sev Senesca) in the battlepack. This is based on the printing of the helmet. I agree with Roncanator, the shuttle looks better in this picture. Even with the strange colour scheme. The clone pilot looks strange with the open helmet and white, printed head. @ DutchRebel: No opinion on Plo Koon's Starfighter? The guns are different on this version compared to Anakins and Ahsoka's fighters. Wonder what other changes they made underneath the fighter, maybe more stable landing gear? I'm loving the Slave I more and more. Besides the minifigures the design grows on me. Cant wait to compare to previous version and Jango's. The most spectacular discovery I made for myself is the side missile bay with flick fires on General Grievous Starfighter.
  25. Great mini again Christopher Very accurate and the colours are great! This one easily beats TLC version. And that's how it should be... Hahaha but funny as hell
