[Review] 7930 Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship
Future74 replied to 501st Commando's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for the review 501st commando This ship is the "Halo", a SS-54 light freighter. I think the ship looks very accurate, just look at the picture below: It hasnt gotten a lot of screen time but a lot of ships/fighters/etc. havent so that's really no reference. The minifigures are a nice addition to the collection, they look nice and I'll never get tired of new minifigures. Aurra Sing is a beautiful badass. edit: just saw the reference by KielDaMan, so this is just another one -
Cavegod this MOC is awesome as always. I dont know if you would want a new topic, but if I could make a suggestion; do make some new pictures so it's displayed in all its might and frontpaged at its very best. This would be well deserved. The last shots are way better than before. Great job!

Agree with the above, great job on both the swamp speeder and todo 360 The swamp speeder is very accurate and has the 'swoosh' factor I like the main engine a lot (where did you get that part from?) but the best parts are the two side engine and the way you attached them! About todo 360; size doesnt matter...

Thanks for the review KimT The astromech and the tactical droid are the beauties in this set. I think they did a great job with the tactical droid! Well done TLC. The JSF is a copy of the other JSFs but putting them all together does look cool so I'm ok with that. The Flitknot speeder is far more accurate than the one included in the solar sailor. The STAPs are copies of the one included in the AT-TE, not the CTT, and are a nice addition. Very funny that they included straight arms and weapons in a seperate bag probably in last moment for release, but they are very welcome. All in all I think an above average set... and bedspread

Thanks for this great review starstreak Luminara Undulli makes this set a must buy. Beautiful! The proton canon is accurate and balances the releases between Republic and droid army forces a bit. Agreed, it almost looks as if was a droid itself and can operate without battledroid. Something like the spider droid. In season 1 episode 20 - The Innocents of Ryloth it's definitly operated by droids. But why make the eyes that big, they could have easily made smaller with a smal dish and a red round 1 piece. I guess its to early to release Barriss Offees again as her release was less than a year ago.

Wow that's a great MOC HJR! Great use of the cockpit and I love the round sides, also the legs and feet are very well designed. It looks exactly like the real AT-XT. Great job!

Cheapest sets to buy to get minifigs for core characters
Future74 replied to meyerc13's topic in LEGO Star Wars
What?! Why?! When?! Did I miss a specific topic or is this major (bad) news just between the lines? This should be broadcasted widely as everyone is expecting them to be unglued. Why this change of policy? Maybe something for our ambassador to ask... -
For me the top three is: - Imperial Shuttle: epic! - Medical droid - Bossk

Wow amazing ACPin The work-in-progress showed some high potential and you've really lived up to these expectations Just like in the episode of the clone wars.
-
A System MF and a TIE Fighter I understand, but why a new X-wing when the old one is still available? As for the OT/PT/CW&EU discussion: It's all starwars and that's why I like it, you just have to use a bit of your imagination.
-
Well, that's today!
-
I dont think so Zzz, I think he's like the Imperial Pilot from the TIE Defender, which would make more sense since they havent used that mold for anything else. And I dont think it's bad although a black open helmet would have been sweet too.
-
I agree, the generic Gungans should have the old tan arms. But at this stage I dont think TLC will change that as the set is already in production.

Post a picture Ritz Brick I'm very curious. I'm sure it's not supposed to and you can contact TLC about a replacement part. @Prateek -
I agree with KielDaMan, the printing and the arms are more realistic. But that was also the case with the 'new' Boba Fett and it's more of a matter if you like it or if you dont. In my opinion more realistic is better. From Wookieepedia (click to zoom)

Agree with the droid rack, the system is almost the same as in the MTT. I also think it's to short and is capable of holding to few battledroids. The place for the blasters is kinda out of place in the rack. @qui gon jinn Why not do a review if you've got the set? With those pictures you're almost there.

Wow, so much news in so few hours and again so many pages to read through. Thanks and keep it coming! Thanks Prateek for the Clone BP pictures I love the orange arms and printed legs on the bomb squad trooper and the ARF trooper looks reasonable aswell. Thanks qui gon jinn for the detailed pictures of the Naboo Battle gungans The printing of Jar Jar Binks and Gungan soldier are awesome and the transparant shield is great. As for the Geonosian Battle; Luminara Unduli Need I say more? The canon looks very good too. As for the V-wing; I dont mind the pilot having the same helmet in the TIE Defender. I was already wondering when they would be using that mold again.

I'll be there tommorrow, saturday 23rd. Hope to see some of you too.

To help out on the geonosian fighter discussion: TLC already made one in the past... just look in the review index Review by Skipper 24

Wow already news on the summer sets?! They sound interesting, especially the battle packs. 7956 The Endor Battle Pack 7957 Geonosis Battle Pack 7959 Geonosian Starfighter 7961 Sith Infiltrator 7962 Anakin's and Sebulba's Podracers 7964 Republic Frigate Two Geonosian sets Mmm I wonder why they've decided to make another Sith Infiltrator as the previous one wasnt that bad and from 2007. That makes me very curious about the design. I dont know what to think of the Podracers either, although I understand why they are in this list. And a Republic Frigate sounds awesome!

MOC at Star Wars Event in Legoland Germany 2010

Thanks for the good news: I will be there tommorrow and I cant wait to see this baby for real -
Well thought through plan and I like the 'similarity' with the death star set design. This could be a top notch design if TLC hasnt already designed one. Since they made the Death Star, a Could City like it isnt unthinkable. Let's hope and pray

The most wanted for me is the Rancor, would love to see that in lego

Totally agree! Love your work ACPin and the Fambaa looks great. By coincedence Episode I Phantom Menace was yesterday on television here in the Netherlands [envy]How did you get all the bricks and minifigures? It just amazes me how many you've got, maybe an estimate in sets/bricks? [/envy] Keep those displays coming
