  1. Great story and very nice vignette!
  2. Nice build - I really like the minifig use and the action incorporated.
  3. This is a great build! The castle is well done, I really like how you've done the wheel, the mixer, the wagon, the ladder. Excellent details, and great scope to this build. Excellent work!
  4. Excellent build! Good use of variety in the build without getting "messy" and a very solid structural silhouette. Love the wheelbarrow and the wheel, the scaffolding, windows and archway are well done - Great job!
  5. Lots going on in this build - would love to see an overview photo. I like the tiling of the floor, the lumber and brick stacks are well done, the landscaping and approaching troops - well done!
  6. I really like this build! I like the terrain and landscaping, as well as the overall shape of the building. I really like some of the action like the roof being set, the load being raised, and the two lifting the bricks. I really like how you used the dark bley slopes to portray the limits of the brick work completed, and I LOVE the use of the stud shooters in the birch tree. This never occurred to me....
  7. You've packed a ton into this build and I think it works really well, from the use of the light bley ingots to the stacks of sand green lumber, the rope fencing, the use of the wands in the window, the dark green tree. This build really comes together well!
  8. A lot of action going on in this build. I like the use of the screwdriver(?) with the hammer.
  9. Very nice build! I especially like the terrain work and the little forge.
  10. I like how you've included so much in this build, and I think it worked really well to include a quarter of the lighthouse and half of the new warehouse, as they allow for most elements in between like the wagon, the tree and the dock. The water is well done, and I really like the falconer concept. I think the new warehouse is my favorite part. Great build!
  11. Great job on this build! From the first three pictures, the build seemed a bit more limited in scale, but your actual build was much more substantial. I am a big fan of the framing beneath the roof, the scaffolding along the top and the crane. Very nice keep!
  12. Perfect interpretation of this Challenge! I like how smooth this build looks, and how well you've portrayed the framing. Love the purple tree! BTW - I've got your boat.
  13. Great to see the different components of the home. I really like the roofing technique, and nice to see all the staircase work and the little tree. Nice work on this entry!
  14. Excellent work conveying the feeling and emotion through a single shot! I personally think the text belongs on the picture rather than as a comment, so you don't lose the meaning. Love the take on the Challenge!
  15. Fantastic work Gideon! (surprise, surprise) A polished build with excellent details, but not without overdoing it. Excellent minifig placement and use for a busy City. There are many things to love about this build including the tree roots sticking out, the drainage ways and the bells in the bell tower, but the two things that I absolutely love are the skeleton of the dome and the wall decay under the windows. These are superb details that just top off a wonderful build overall.
  16. Excellent portrayal of the wastes of Western Varlyrio! You use multiple build styles here, but even though your structure are built to look more rough, it still looks like a uniform settlement. I really like the rounded tan wall beneath the bone spikes, the nice variety of the wooden barrier across the corner of the build, and the way you incorporated the ewok wings.
  17. I really like this build! Very Kaliphlin, but some nice techniques, and sparing use of color as accent instead of constant. I like the use of the tiles and cheese slopes as tools, and the construction action taking place. The story is well done also. Great work!
  18. And that should about it for Challenge 1. Excellent work all! Some great entries!
  19. What, about 7 hours left to post?
  20. Yes. Alt Bricks leaves are acceptable for this challenge, but this is not a general guideline for future Challenges.
  21. One overall winner for the Whomping Willow, but then smaller sets for the other 3 winners, and these sets are already in my possession (and will be awarded by Guild color/terrain).
  22. Only 1 week remaining! The winning entry will receive the Whomping Willow set or another set(s) of equivalent value. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=164763#T=S&O={"ss":"US","rpp":"10","iconly":0} Due to the lack of good castle sets at present, the winner will be able to have some control over which set(s) they receive.
  23. Wishful thinking on the Drow Plague ;) Hadn't checked out your Flickr in a while. Some interesting variety of themes you are getting into, and Star Wars?! - Excellent! You may some reading to do to catch up on Historica...
  24. Anything that shows "rebuilding"
  25. There is not a minimum size, as long as you don't exceed a 4:1 length to width ratio.
