Actually when you click on your name in "Logged in as: ....." then you 'll see a small "Profile Options" box on the right. If you click on it you can have all the infos you want. Hope that helped.

As I've already said in a previous post in this topic, I started building my LEGO collection 3-4 months ago, after leaving dark ages behind me. I had also bought the Cargo Plane trying to become familiar with the modern LEGO environment. So, here are some comparison shots I took back then with the whole fleet (actually the 6368 plane is only missing). DISCLAIMER: Any intentions of highlighting the embiggening of LEGO sets is definetely intentional . Hope it's ok for posting the pictures here rriggs Yes, this suitcase contains half of my LEGO history. It's interesting that Cargo Plane's tail wings are almost the same size with the passenger's planes main wings . Btw, the 6356 Med-Star Rescue Plane is still my favorite! Classic Town.....classic years.....

Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Zorbas replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I 100% can share your feelings about that Klaus-Dieter . If we make some comparisons with the 80's train sets and the Metroliner the results are just dissapointing. Is there a birth control in TLG's headquarters and we don't know it?- 559 replies

Very nice vignettes Basiliscus! I really like the second one! The way you have built the wall behind the barwoman is great! The foam in one of the beer mugs (it's beer, isn't it?) is a fantastic idea. I guess they're not driving after that.

Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Zorbas replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Is there any possibility that TLG has any intentions of releasing a new train station along with Emerald Night? A not-so-modernized station (from an architectural point of view) would be great.- 559 replies

My choices too, even the comments are my exact thoughts. As for the themes that i don't like at all: 1. Bionicle 2. Belville 3. Exo-Force

I guess stomach is a good place to avoid sunlight.

Maybe a bit long but, hey, 15 years of dark ages...

This is just fantastic! Congratulations Aliencat! The building is amazing! The colours, the roof details, the modularity, the curved floor (extra praise just for that, it's just genius!), all sum up to an absolutely fantastic MOC! Thanks for sharing!

Very nice MOC Joebot! It took me back to the classic years . The colour combination works great IMO because traditionally, yellow is the post-related colour of Lego sets . It could have been more "modernised" by putting different windows but on the other hand, many public buildings that hold certain services from the past and still are on duty (train stations, town halls, presidential-government buildings etc), can still be seen around the world, making some cities more beautiful. So, from me! The interior is also very nice. Perhaps you could make it a little larger by expanding it from the back side. (it reminded me the Town Hall from the Town Plan.) Overall, great work! P.S The link works fine to me.

The different prices on LEGO in the US vs. Europe
Zorbas replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Now i'm both sad and angry!! €100 difference is too much... Couldn't agree more . Even if someone takes the EURO's release date (2002) as a start for the economical convergence ,senen years have already passed and sometimes it seems that we are still in the beginning. That's true Zorro. The problem is that each european country has a different price list. I bought the Soldier's Arsenal for €3.99, the price that every impulse set has in Greece. Having to deal with small or even some medium sets, the difference is not too noticeable. When it comes to big sets, my wallet starts complaining big time . -
Great little genuine idea! Excellent work fallentomato! The idea and how you 've managed to capture it and create it, is The third from the left is also my pick. 3 1/2 months for the summer... My kingdom for a deckhair!

The different prices on LEGO in the US vs. Europe
Zorbas replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thanks for the feedback Capt. Kirk! I've just checked the prices concerning the polish S@H. I think that the prices are almost the same compared to other S@H countries. Green Grocer for example costs PLN 699.95 meaning €151.84 (if the converter prooved correct...). Because most of the times e-prices are different, do you happen to know how much Green Grocer costs in Belgium if you buy it in a toy store? It's true on the other hand, that many countries and not just Greece are dealing with the expensive Lego issue. I must 100% agree with you on the second part, concerning the economy in EU. Prices are different, incomes-wages are different, taxes are different, . It's natural for some differences to exist even as a transition status. But sometimes differences just go way out of control. -
Metalandi and Hinckley, a GREAT thanks for the pictures and the links! The City Corner is absolutely great! The Camper's opening technique...

Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Zorbas replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
The more i read the posts, the more i'm starting being convinced about the set being real. I just hope that we still haven't seen the whole package. Hmmm...one more evidence... Actually, this topic reminds me of one i stumbled upon yesterday, having to do with the new pirate minifigs and the rumours surrounding the release of the pirate theme. Almost the same thrilling "sherlock-holmish" atmosphere and anticipation.- 559 replies

Man, how on earth did i miss that topic???? Excellent, brilliant idea rriggs! You 've just made me feel . I also own all of the classic sets that you 've shown and almost all of the new ones. (yes the big crane is BIG and not for me). I did the exact same "experiment" 3 months ago, shortly after exiting dark ages and the first candidates were the green Cargo Plane and the red plane from the 6392 Airport. I placed the old plane on top of the Cargo Plane and the factor was big. Keep comparing! EDIT: It's like a fight between the mind and the heart. ( Don't get me wrong. Memories sometimes can get quite strong.)

I've just finished building it and all i can say is that this is a fantastic set! The life raft is just phenomenal! It is very realistic and believe me, the real thing is 10 scales greater than it seems in the pictures! Only one tiny flaw that i 've found is that the whole rotor structure does not "sit" too well on the main body, having the tendency of being a little unstable sometimes. That is of course a minor detail and takes away no points regarding the general impression. The Power Function works great as you said and it is indeed the best helicopter TLC has given us. One more thing 5150 Lego. Is the parts list at the end of the insructions correct? Because it says that 2 pieces of the blue cheese slope are included and eventually there were 10 in it, all being used during the building process. (not counting the extra parts of course). Anyway, i highly recommend this set to any City fan!

No problem WhiteFang. It's better for the record breaks to be all together. To be honest, i did a little research to find a similar topic, couldn't find anything, therefore the new topic creation. Eurobricks marchin'on!

Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Zorbas replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Let's just hope this is the real deal and that we'll have new trains soon enough. Does anybody thinks that the train's photo (photo only) being larger compared to the minifigs means something about the set being real or fake? I still can't make up my mind.- 559 replies

Has anybody noticed that we broke the most-users-online record today? No surprise about that. Eurobricks is the site to be regarding Lego. Long live Eurobricks! (Now let's do something to wipeout the new number .)

Two weeks ago was the good deal: 6239 Cannon Battle, 8396 Soldier's Arsenal, 8398 BBQ Stand, 8401 Minifigure Collection, 7630 Front-End Loader and 7990 Cement Mixer.

Since this topic is about names, how about the meaning/etymology and translation of the actual word "PIRATE"? It's interesting i think.CLICK

I was too expecting that the pirate line would come later here in Greece (maybe even later from other countries) and if we were lucky, the impulse sets earlier. To my surprise, all pirate sets are available! (I've just purchased two.) Not south enough.
