This looks awesome! I like the way you made a tent of the sail. The ship looks nice too (though it's only one half ) I think those guys now should think of some ways to get the attention of other ships so they can be saved great MOC!

UPDATE 2, PAGE 2! -JUNE, 27th A few weeks ago I posted some pictures about my MLCad ship, called 'L'Unité', I renamed it into 'L'Aigle'. And here is the first post of the building process. Overview of the building site, with mine and Blackmoor's shoes Starboard of the ship, with a tumblehome, yet in the wrong colours. The great cabin. You can see some weapons hanging on the wall. I want to make the black and white patterns on the floor like can be seen on HMS Victory for example. The stern. Ofcourse I will use different colours later. And I want to use a lot of those yellow wings on the stern. Cap'n Blackmoor is helping me with building the ship ...but he needs some encouragements. :pir-skull: There are also some very hard working islanders helping me with the ship. Islander:"Look what I've found Sir!" "Another Redcoat spy in the bushes!" Me: "You're doing a great job! Put it by the others!" One last view. Thanks for the attention More pictures on Brickshelf. Suggestions and tips are very welcome!

Yeah! Bluecoats power Great fort! looks very strong, I think the enemy will never even try to take this fort, they will run away immediately I also like the cannons and I think the crane is very useful too, in a fort like this. Your thoughts about a new fort are also very promising after this one.

There are too many great things about this MOC! for example the crane, the minifig's, the house (ofcourse ) and the water. But what do those small guys do there? Are they midgets? I like all the details, though the background doesn't really fit, but that's no problem for the MOC ofcourse. And the pirates look very mean :pir-skull:

Which pirate captain do you like now?

Brickbeard for the win! I like his name -
I agree with you that walrus island should get some attention, everyone has to be warned for these heartless creatures
-
Could anyone post an interim score (unless the contest is almost finished ofcourse)? I'm curious what it will look like

I aggree with that! the Damien blade looks very cool good idea, I hope you will manage to cut it well. Maybe you can try it with a 'wire cutter' (does that mean anything to you? ) there are very small versions of them.
-
I think the Damien Blade is too big, the blade is almost bigger than the gun. I think the best choice is the gunmetal or the silver clip with a normal blade. Maybe you should also cut off the handprotector of this blade because it's pointed a little bit downwards now, but that's not neccesary (and maybe you can also fix the problem by shifting the clip a bit backwards, if you know what I mean. That's my opinion, you decide what you're going to do with it good luck!

Enough about alligators What are the things next to them, rockets? they look quite interesting too..
-
I totally agree with Cap'n Blackmoor. And since it is an officer I think he shuld also have a horse (but maybe he's got one already, I don't know ) Onfortunately the color is not exactly the same as the rest of the torso, but that's not such a big problem. Nice minifig!
-
Nice army with some very good-looking officers (I mean their suit and haircut ) And what is that crocodile doing there? Is that a weapon?
-
Did I see a minifig. with a headset there? Great MOC, with very good-looking minifig's (exept the one with the headset ), and I like the way you built the barrel with the rum (or whatever is in there). This MOC is also very important since this is a way to fear the pirates and, hopefully, reduce piracy in the lego-waters

Looks great! The face of this guy looks very easy compared to the complex suit Maybe you can also try gold or yellow epaulettes. Just a suggestion. The long suit looks very good, also respect for the way you put it on the normal bodypart, that looks very difficult (also a failed one).
-
It's not a very big army, but that doesn't matter because these soldiers look very good, I also like the hats they are wearing (the white-red things) very much
-
Hilarious! I really wonder how this will end.. I hope he will survive, so the story can continue some more times Great how you made the island, but maybe you could have put some animals on it (for dinner )
-
Fantastic, great to see the building process, very interesting. It looks like you have changed the colour of the figurehead from yellow into red. For the rest it seems like you have built the ship straightforward. Are there also cannons on the decks below? I couldn't spot them anywhere.
-
It looks good, There is still quite a lot of space between the windows and the roof, maybe you can place something (tiles maybe or you place some black plates agains the roof on the inside) there. Otherways there might come some water in the great cabin and we don't want that I dont know anything else to say, for the rest it looks fine

Whaha! I think the monkey just deserved it, maybe he is the most criminal monkey in the world.. I like the way you built the trees ( I mean the brown part of it, don't know the name of it) very funny -
I think they look good, if you can get enough of these torso's, I think you should really try to build an army with them. Bluecoat soldiers are always welcome

MOC New Imperial Ship..yet to be named
Admiral Croissant replied to Dr. Steve's topic in Pirate MOCs
ok, great, I'm looking forward to that, good luck with it! -
Nice fleet, and I really hope you will get time soon to build a MOC enough bricks I think Bluecoats rules!

I just posted something to your army-post. I said I wondered how your ship would look like, and here it is already! I should have seen it earlier It looks very decent, but if I were you, I should give this ship more cannons , I believe there is enough space for it. And maybe you should look at some pictures of real ships for inspiration. There are some things you could make better, Captain Zuloo has told you already about them. The thing I really like about your ship, is the colours, they are very realisitc, and I like it's size -
飛鴉 Flying Crow (work in progress) 2
Admiral Croissant replied to Captain Cavinano's topic in Pirate MOCs
Very original to build a chinese yonk, they are quite rare on this forum. Indeed an interesting building technique. I do think you should build the masts out of lego too, but on the other way, the masts look very chinese now, and maybe they don''t look very chinese anymore if you build them out of lego. Maybe you should also make the sails more sail-like, these colours on the sails don't look very real Ofcourse, the ship is not finished yet, so you can still adjust some things. You're doing a great job, good luck with it and keep up the good work! -
It's already a very impressive army, I'm really curious about how this will look like in the end. You don't need much skills to buy an army, but you do need them to build a good-looking ship so that's also something i'm looking forward to. as I said, it's already very impressive
