Looks very good! Finally the bluecoats can do something back I think/hope with sails it will be excellent! Are there also cannons in the ship?
-
The second deck has turned out rather well. As I said before, the colours look great, and the stern looks also good, but I think you should make the captain's cabin more 'one' with the ship, it is too square now, you could make the way from poop deck to the waist a bit more organic (I hope you understand what I mean ) The figure head is also a little bit strange because its very horizontal with his face to the water, maybe you can fix that For the rest it looks really good, and I think with some ropes and sails it will be a good sailer/fighter

It looks much more peacefully as with the monkeys And now you can watch the building a little bit better. I see some nice things, like the green parrot, and also the inside of the building looks great. I would have a lot of respect for the one who is able to take this fort I also like all the windows, and how you made them one with the rest of the fort (if you know what I mean)

Nice MOC, I see you have some good skills already, this could be very promising! It looks a lot like the picture, great job, good start

Great that you can mak something that is very small, yet also very funny

Monkey Battle of Passage Fort
Admiral Croissant replied to Commodore Hornbricker's topic in Pirate MOCs
HAHA!! awesome! Great building, i'm eager to see the other pictures next week, but it's also very great with the monkeys I thought about the same as your wife when I first saw it, it looked just such a mess. But when I watched it closer it's just a magnificent piece of art Also great how you made the smog and monkeys/bananas when they are being shot out of the cannons The pirates don't have a chance! -
Very promising! I like the bell very much, though it needs a roof indeed, but for the rest it looks very great. The lamp is also great but I'm not sure about the yellow colour, it's only yellow in the night, otherwise it doesn't have a colour. But that's not a very big point, I think it will look great on a ship. Then the caronnade.. well, you know how I think about it, I think there has to be a better way to make them, but these ones will do as well, but it's not very clear that it's a caronnnade. And what ship is it on the picture? HMS Victory in the first stage? or maybe HMS Royal Sovereign, or you don't know? Would be great if it will look that way, good luck on this project!

Fantastic MOC! I like how you made the ocean and the thing I like the most is the watchtower, great how you made it on top of the rocks. Is there also a prison is it, or maybe somewhere else?

There Blackmoor has got a point! Is it going to be for the bluecoats after all? would be great Anyway, I like your ship, I like the colours very much, and as Cap'n Blackmoor said, maybe you should either make the ship longer, or leave it a one-gundeck ship. Otherwise it might look a bit silly. I also like your stern. I don't see many round sterns like that on this site. It's very original. I wasn't very common for real ships to have them, but some of them had very nice round sterns (especially in the mid-19th century, like clippers and some warships) good work, the bluecoats sure want to have it in their fleet

And the 'Aigle' is still under construction... I think we'd better hurry bluecoats! Maybe we can also search some help with the Spanish like for example at the battle of Trafalgar.. but I think they don''t have a lot of lego ships either...maybe none
-
I think this will turn out to be a very fine ship! Is it going to have 3 masts, or maybe 2? And are you also going to build a figurehead on it? I think it's a good idea for the bluecoats to keep an eye on this project since I think this ship is going to be dangerous... good luck with the rest of this ship.

One supersized Battle Cannon, do you want fries with that?
Admiral Croissant replied to RTN LNA's topic in Pirate MOCs
that thing is really quite big... I wonder how many horses it would need to be moved.. It''s just not fair against the enemy to have such a thing! -
Maybe he means that if you make it 1 brick higher, figures can stand in it (though that''s ofcourse not neccesary in a carriage)
-
Nice army, great uniforms I also like the things on the back of the horses. I agree about the size of the cannon, maybe you can better just say it's a 24 pounder instead of making a smaller one because this one looks cool.
-
I think this looks very great! I agree with the others that it could be a little bit higher. And since it's a very large carriage, maybe you could add some horses to pull the heavy thing. For the rest it just looks very good
-
He looks like a very powerful man , must be very proud to have his own personal cannon though he could also use some servants because I think he is too important to use the cannon by himself. Anyway, the French always want a good new officer, great to have him within the Royal fleet!
-
Very impressive piece of work! I like how you made the flying tennis ball (though I didn't know tennis already existed in that time) and I also like the croquet game. The buildings are just perfect, I have nothing to add to it. Maybe the governor thinks that te palmtrees look too disorganized, maybe not I think they look great there and they support the suggestion that it's in the new world. I think the governor must be very satisfied by living in such a beautiful house!
-
I like that flag! I've tried it myself a few times and every time it became a big mess. The lines were to thick or they spread across the flag (like Blackmoor said) I will try it your way now, I hope it will work
-
It's a very nice and decent ship. The respect shouldn't go to your building skills here, but to the time you have put into it, you've made it very fast indeed! And I like the minifig's on the ship (like cap'n Jack Sparrow ) I also like the update of your stern, it gives you ship something extra.
-
uh..ohh..wow! I didn't think it would be possible to build such a big army, but it is! Are you also going to build something which they can fight for? You should make pictures of these armies fighting each other, that would be great
-
Congratulations! enjoy your award and make something nice with it! Everyone did a great job ofcourse, but there has to be a winner
-
I don't understand that either, i'm no redcoat. Maybe they think we are building some secret weapon or something like that.. eh...well...ehh... yes, I think he didn't have time to shave..

Ship for "Lego Pirates of Penzance" animation
Admiral Croissant replied to Xrisl's topic in Pirate MOCs
First I thought this ship was quite stupid because it didn't look very realistic. But then I saw the movie, I was very impressed by it. The movie looks very good and the music is also very funny And now I take back every negative thing I said about the ship, because for a musical-like movie like this one, this ship is just perfect! And very original ofcourse to build it with 1970-bricks. good job! -
That's not a very hard question. The left one is the best, and I think everyone will agree with me. That's just the most historical accurate one, with white pants.

I understand you recognize the heads. They once were friends of yours. They are all redcoat spies. They were dressed like a bluecoat army so ofcourse you thught it was a bluecoat regiment
