All quiet on the Western Front
Admiral Croissant replied to kris kelvin's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That's outstanding! Great job on the heavy cannon and the rest is also perfect. Are you planning on making more WWI MOC's? That would be awesome, I really like that theme. And I must say that your kitchen-wagon thing is also very inventive. Anyway, nice job. -
MOC: Medieval Market Village Diorama
Admiral Croissant replied to Piglet's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Nothing to add to the previous comments. This is just excellent and I don't think it could have been made any better Good job! -
Good MOC I see you have quite a big army and the background building is also nice. Do you know what torso you used for the guy with the white suit in the middle? That one might be useful for my MOC as well.

Really good MOC! Great work on the splashing water and a nice clear picture
-
It took me 10 minutes to load these pictures But the ship is looking rather nice. The colours are good and I like the placement of the two lifeboats on the deck. Good job.

Not just because of the minifig heads (check my avatar ) but this is really a great MOC. I like the fact that it can be opened on top and in the back, and the shape is exactly like the real ones. Unfortunately it's very hard to make a lego model with the green camouflage, that would also be awesome. Anyway, great job, I don't think this could have been done any better
-
Looking good already! But for the real thing I would take a picture from the same angle as in the painting. Keep it up. The minifigs and hats are as great as usual. Can't wait to see them painted

Wounded sailor modified minifig
Admiral Croissant replied to Admiral Croissant's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks for all the comments! Go ahead! It hasn't been copyrighted yet But I must warn you that you should flame it just very short, otherwise it will become all black and melting and stuff. Then you can make a dent in it and paint it. Good luck! -
I don't have time to make a comic, so I just want to say: Happy birthday Zorro! Hope you will make it to a very old lego fan
-
That's a very good start. I can't compete with it (if it wasn't only because I want to save money for my Vesta). Looks like there will be a lot of competition in this contest! Keep it up!
-
Welcome to EB! It's always good to have new members Your MOC is nice as a first try, keep it up (and maybe participate in the new bayonets at dawn contest. That would also be great as a start ).

WIP: Achille and Guerrière, French Frigates of 28 guns
Admiral Croissant replied to BrickPerfection's topic in Pirate MOCs
I've been building on my stern today and decided to change the lantern since it's too much black and yellow now. Your lanterns look better to me, but I don't know exactly how you built them, so could you show me a better picture of it? -
Wounded sailor modified minifig
Admiral Croissant replied to Admiral Croissant's topic in Pirate MOCs
It's just because it was the only good screaming face that I currently have Thanks for all the comments! -
Those are GREAT prizes! And it's a very nice contest. I'm sure I'm going to participate EDIT: I suppose that sea-battles are also allowed? And small battles like skirmishes(As long as they are a bit famous)?
-
That's very true No poll then!
-
Superb MOC again! I like the look of all the flowers alongside the water and the buildings are also excellent. Can't wait to see the complete, finished product!
-
Maybe we could place the best ideas in a poll so we will do what most people would like to do?

I've posted this in the pirate forum already, but I also wanted to show it to non-pirates fans. So this is the minifig: A close-up of the wound. Made by torturing the torso with fire and then adding a piece of string and painting it red. And last but not least: our poor lad in a big fight: Thanks for viewing!
-
Done! One of the things I voted for was sets that are more useful to build an army with (at least, more minifigs and less other bricks). Those sets would be nice next to the usual ones.
-
I was bored so I decided to make a wounded sailor (or perhaps a (-n almost) dead one). It's always useful to have one Now that doesnt look very healthy! It was made by torturing a torso with a match, then adding a small piece of string and painting it red. And finally a picture of how this poor lad lies badly wounded on the deck of a ship. Maybe this can better be moved to the 'minifig customization' forum, or I can place it in both?

Brickfair Sigfig Picture
Admiral Croissant replied to brickme's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
I suppose I don't have to be there in real-life to get my sigfig on the picture? And if you also want to add sigfig's with decals, here's mine: And the decal: -
Looking good so far. I like the fact that one of the first things you do on this ship is putting a croissant in it I agree with Captain Becker that it should have 3 masts at the most (that would be normal for a galleon). 4 masts would really make it look stupid to me. For the rest it's a good start and I like the colors. Keep it up!
-
Looking good, just keep it up! Can't wait to see the first deck with interior!
-
Well there's a lot of tension between bluecoats and redcoats lately, I think we really need a tournament of retribution. A cabin contest would alse be nice though
-
Awesome MOC. It's full of detail and has the right colours. I like your roof tiles a lot and the last picture is also nice. Great job, I don't know a lot about Japanese architecture, but to me this is really a brilliant creation
