I have had a project in mind for a while to build a cargo ship (I don't want to spoil anything by giving away the name). However i am not to experienced making a good hull. I would like to get the basic bottom part of it done before going any higher. I am looking to make it brick built and to about this shape, only on a larger scale. Thanks for your help.

I hope the trains come out soon, I'm going back to the Lego store on the 21st and i have a $30 discount. I can't see why they shouldn't though with the instructions and train station online already...

The best luck I had was getting the UCS Batmobile and Batcave for around $30. Manly because My mom works out at a store that happened to get a late shipment put them out for half off, and added an employee discount.

I just got back from my Lego store, and they were sold out. They said they were only getting one more shipment.

I saw this earlier, certainly not something i would think of being done in Lego, it even works incredibly well!

The airplane looks nice as well as the building. I think that I am going to pick this one up for the parts (and airplane) maybe even make a larger scale airport with it.

Sometimes its just out of thin air, but mostly inspired by others work.

Nice review Jjsthekid you covered the set very well, however I'm not sure if i am going to get this one. I like the minifigures but I'm not to fond of the pearl gold.

Beautiful creation, the interior of the candy store is absolutely astonishing! The plad table on the second floor and piano along with the picture on the buildings wall are also very nice touches.

I am about to make one of my biggest puchases and need some help so here it goes, Green Grocer - Nice structure and brilliant colors as well as detail Grand Emporium - Beutifull corder building with tons of detail They are both great sets but I can only afford one at the moment. I am going to start work on a city street and would like to have one building to work from. I am leaning toward GG because it is definatly the next one to go and would be easier to work from. However i realy do like Grand emporium.

Thanks, I'm working on accurate minifig scale ones but its a bit tricky. This idea started after seeing how that new orange torso for the Space Police baddie could be used to make a pretty accurate Chell. However I may make custom decals.

I'm making a note here, huge success. (just a table scrap to practice some new building techniques, tell me what you think .)

Fantastic set, wile i admit that there are a couple of things to be modded (just slightly) I see nothing wrong with this set. (and i am usually picky with city sets like this) Anyways i think that if the price stays below 60, i will definably have to pick this one up.

The books look nice, it will be an easy way to get me an army of squid warriors. On Amazon however i noticed that near the bottom it says, "10 new from £2.44 and then 2 used from £3.20". Well I suppose it saves me the trouble of doing the activities and getting a minifig....
