I was on the S@H website today and wanted to use my VIP points for an online purchase, however i had a problem. You see when i first made my account on the Lego site the age was screwed up and it says i am not old enough to buy anything (18 and older). Is there any way possible that this can be fixed so I can use my points? Thanks for the help.

Welcome to EB always nice to see other members that build Batman MOCs. Well there is The Batman Movie starring Adam West...

Welcome to EB, I myself enjoy DC and Marvel comics. Hope you enjoy the Forum.

I also noticed the other day that Lego Stores have stocks of them, I managed to pick up a copy as the sold out quickly.

I have almost finished my new Lego room I have set up in my basement. It is nice to be able to work down there because the tempature is almost always at 65.

I got brickbeards Bounty, and 13 Minifigures with my barcode sheet. (I wasnt very acurate reading it though but I still got some good things.)

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
MrTools replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Just got back from the Lego Store, and managed to pick up 13. (3 spacemen, 3 skaters, 2 robots, a nurse, zombie, cowboy, boxer, and clown.) I brought my bar code list and i wasn't very accurate (mistook spacemen for clowns and skaters for zombies )However i did manage to help some little kids get the ones they wanted, as well as some adults. -
Valves big announcement this year was Portal 2. And i must say the graphics engine has improved greatly. As a matter of fact to greatly. I may not get to play it on my computet. . But that doesnt take away from how amazing it is, just see for yorself. However after seeing some first look videos at it they mention how long they work to make their games as good as they can. I have a very good feeling next year we may see confrimation of EP3. Edit: Pi sums most of it up. I think the liquids are to put on sufaces that wont allow portals, to make them work. Notice the Orange and Blue colors of the liquids.

What, is nobody going to mention Portal 2? I was watching it the other day and was suprised the announcement was durning the Sony confrence. I am very pleased with the look of the new portal though. It looks fantastic compared to the old one.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion

Grogall you are one lucky guy! I hope the Lego store isnt crowded here on the 21st, they told me that is when they get there last shipment of them in. If i get there as soon as it opens should i have some time to look through them or would it be just as crowded? -
Another big purchase i know i might regret if i don't buy. I am going to the Lego store this Monday and they are still selling Brickbeards bounty. Should i get it then or should i wait. I ask this because i also have to get my Minifigures while i am there and would have to borrow money. Edit: Or should I just buy the boar parts off bricklink since I already have the minifigs and parts (seems smarter I was just going to MOC with it anyways)

Fantastic job evildead, although I think his legs should be a brick or two taller. other than that you did a fantastic job!

Those parts are put in a gear box, and help keep the technic rods in place (or at least I am pretty sure that's what it does) I was confused by it at first as wall. You can see it if you zoom in on the instructions off the Lego site. http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildinginstructions/4611661.pdf EDIT: I think i had the same misprint as you, i may have skipped that part but i am not sure. (no need to take me EN apart for two pieces when it works and looks fine)

Very nice, I like the looks of things. Only problem i had was I wasn't aloud to respond to PMs for some reason. Anyways the change wasn't that hard to get used to everything still works the same for me.

Well i never thought this kind of topic would be brought up but oh well, I never noticed the butt thing before but thats just because i dont generaly order parts directly from Lego. As for the motor, lets just not think much more on it...

LEGO Collectible Minfigures Series 1 Poll
MrTools replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
My vote goes to the clown, the zombie almost ties with it but I just really love that creepy clown. -
Watched the new A Team yesterday. Overall it was a good movie but i have been watching the original a lot lately making the only disappointment the violence level, I'm sure a lot of people wont mind but I'm just saying it wasn't the same. (The original A Team usually caught the bad guys of flipped their cars). However the storyline was magnificently executed and the ending was very cleverly planned IMO.

Wow, this is fantastic! I agree with KielDaMan tis is instantly recognizable, keep up the good work AllanSmith.

Last big Power Miners set Petition/editorial

Signed, I just hope if it does happen it wont be like lavatraz... -
I myself have a not so good camera, but what I do is put a white backdrop down, take the picture (sometimes at a distance to get good quality), and after that save it to a file on my computer. Next I use Picasa (free photo editing program by Google), to fix the brightness, crop the picture, and some other things (shadows and other effects). After making the MOC itself look good (not focusing much on the background) I put the picture in MS Paint. From there I color over all the dark areas to give it a pristine white background. (this may take a little time or a long time depending on how well you set up your backdrop and lighting). I hope this helps you out.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 2 Poll
MrTools replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I voted for te Mexican Band Member, I just love all parts of it, the other ones are okay, but I still prefer series 1, it had more minifigs worth getting in bulk. However this series has no bad one in it if you ask me (unlike the ninja, scuba diver, skater, and for some the crash test dummy) -
Very nice, I would get these if it was an actual theme, you executed each price range very well. The outpost is definably the best out of all of them in my opinion, but they all seem to lack something that makes a Lego Space themed set a space themed set. Flick Fire Missiles!

I enjoy almost every movie i see, however there is one exception being the two live action Scooby Doo movies. They were absolutely awful.
