How long do you wait until you open your lego?
MrTools replied to Ratshot's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Same here, and soon I'm getting the shuttle adventure (pending the people who owe me money pay me which they have put off for a few weeks ) But with my current schedule and school being out in a few weeks I may have it sitting in my house for about a week. (if I can handle that) -
Don't want your Legos anymore? I'll take em
MrTools replied to 3m@ch's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Well I do have some i have been needing to get rid of and there is an address.... (I'm not really going to do that just to be clear) -
Fine job on these, my favorate is the X wing style one. However my one suggestion would be replacing the blue with red.
-
Thanks for the high res box art grogall I am realy loveing this set, I will have enough money by next week and then all I have to do is wait and not be tempted by anything else

Stunning work, the statues look amazing and without walls it allows you to focus more on the details

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
MrTools replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Hopefully the codes will be in the U.S, all I want are some zombies... -
I might pick this one up, but I'm not too sure. I like the new updated street sweeper that comes with it but as stated above it looks like it has a lot of stickers...

Who are you in The Prince of Persia? THE WINNERS!
MrTools replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Licensed
greg3's Love the robe and turban combo -
If it stays at 99.99 USD I am defiantly picking it up, if it goes up i may have to compromise. I love the retractable landing gear and the construction technique on the nose.
-
Very nice, it took me a while to actually see the minifigs in the marsh! (At first i thought it was piles of mud)

MrTools replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Licensed
I just submitted mine for category 2. The entries are looking fantastic The hourglass was executed fantastically. And a to pedro for thinking outside the box and making cloud city. (I'm surprised i haven't seen a Temple Escape yet, it was the first thing i wanted to do but couldn't because a lack of proper colors) -
LEGO Prince of Persia Contest Entries - Category 2
MrTools replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Licensed
Modular Market Square After debating over what set to do i finally came up with one, so here is my PoPified 6242 Soldiers Fort! Its Modular just like the original design. Originally the small boat. And here is a good shot of the tower (i would have thrown in a modular alternative but it takes a long time to give pictures a nice white background in MS Paint. ) Here is a link to the rest of the pictures (Once uploaded) Clicky This model includes four modular sectons that can be arranged into many different models, a chariot, monkey and include six minifigures, Dastan, Sheik Amar, Hassasin, Citizen, and two marke stall owners. Can dastan fight off the evi hassasin that is search of the daggar of time? The action is in your hands! Thanks and good luck everyone! -
I love this set, I'm going to have to keep my money with me in case i see it. Those stickers will come in handy for making a LEGO Store.
-
Sounds amazing, the uncomplete platform (depending on how it looks) can probably be fixed easily and if i get it I would add a service platform. Hoping for some photos soon
-
I love the new head wrap, its much better than the old one (IMO)
-
Reminds me of a pinata, however i think there should have been a bit more red on the main body other than that nice work.
-
Changed mine. I am now Adel the Righteous, and that's bodacious. Edit: I'm that guy who does all the cool fight moves but gets killed off quick. (like the Cario swordsman)
-
My votes go to Oky and Captain Blackmoor, both very well executed vigs.
-
If anything it would be that large window, i love wide screens and that's my favorite one. As for other ones i may have to gat back to you on that there are so many...

LEGO Prince of Persia Month - the Eurobricks Contest
MrTools replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Licensed
I am definatly entering this, i will probable PoPify a set. And such a great prize too (that we have a chance of winning unlike in Lego Magazine) Now im going to have to pick up some PoP sets. -
Good picture Like everyone else this has happened to me countless times. Recently i have been keeping any interesting or small parts out I might need for the future (recomended)
-
Im still not too sure about this, it looks fantastic but i still think the previous one looks a bit better, i think its all the dark red. However you did a fantastic review, thanks for posting.
-
Well it depends on the size, I will put all of them on display or mess around with them for a while, however eventualy i salvage parts until it is taken apart for good.
-
Done. I liked the option of a modular building that could be bought in sections, i hope that happens.
-
I'm not sure if the display was from a MOCer, the Lego store here in Columbus has the exact same one. But no, the parts are older.
