The Pirates and the NXTfied Theater (by NeXTSTORM)
MrTools replied to Capt. Kirk's topic in LEGO Pirates
This is by far one of coolest things i have ever seen the effects they used were great , and just the level of detail All of his work is simply amazing. And here is a behind the scenes video showing how it all works. Enjoy. Edit by Jipay : adding the video to the post -
A while back i recall seeing a magnificent Pirate MOC. It was a large island, possibly with a port, and had a motorized ship that sailed around it. Does anyone remember seeing this, if so thanks, i have been thinking of making one similar.

Sorry if this has been posted (should'nt be, I checked everywhere.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0j3bNh-PQs The animation in it is superb, much more advanced that the first two. look at Andy, tell me who he looks like Also, im not sure, but at 1:08 seconds, could that be a LEGO box under the bed? Anyway, looks like its going to be a great movie.

This is honestly (IMO) one of the most, if not most beutiful buildings i have seen! The detail is superb, congradulations on the victory!
-
Wow those prices are high. I mean did you see the black and white neclace? Those actualy look nice
-
I tried this but the way i did it, it was overlaped and gave away the illusion. I t was a fun build i have one of those in my room!
-
Wow, these look great! The improved gangster car looks nearly perfect (I love the new front)
-
I Realy don't know what to say about these sets, truely they were a letdown i expected more of a bionicle but in the form of the aliens. And $14 for 14 parts, well there is just too much stuff coming out next year for me to worry about this.
-
wow great find, this is starting to change my view on the new color. i actualy may get some of the smallest sets (none over 30 at the moment). I think the blue on this one is nicely ballanced, and im getting MOC ideas for the new magma theme.
-
I have to say, my view of these sets have changed greatly, i am realy starting to love this new theme and i think the new heads are great, much better than using the smae thing sove and over again (like in the castle theme). Will i get all the sets, no. But hey when reviews start poping up i bet that will change.

-
Could this be the MOC you are talking about?
-
Wow, this is just stunning so many details and such a massive size! It even seems to be priced fairly at 180 for over 1700 pieces not marking up the price because the base parts. This may turn out to be one of the best pirate ships yet! ....where on earth am i going to make $180.00

MrTools replied to Darthking623's topic in LEGO Star Wars

James May to build life size lego house!
MrTools replied to allanp's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Certainly was an awesome house, though if it was for a show, and aperently just a very short amount of time why not just make sifferent stage sets to film on? Anyway it seems like LEGO is taking a lot of abuse lately, with this he Mythbusters and Ben Ten sets -

All replies are suddenly "branching tree" variety?
MrTools replied to Morgan19's topic in Forum Information and Help
Sorry if this has been posted somwhere else, but every time i go to read a topic all the replies are bunched up and to read them i have to click on them individualy (only one opens at a time). Its a bit tricky to actualy read any convesations if i have to go through each individual post . Is this something new to the forums or just my comuter? (if its a problem with my computer how do i fix it?) Thanks for the help. -
Cheers to who came up with this. It actualy will get you to say somthing about what you think of the entries. Not just something like, "nice job but i dont think i vote for you".

The worst thing that can happen to a LEGO Pirate collector
MrTools replied to General Armendariz's topic in LEGO Pirates
Wow, i never knew dogs liked them so much, well i mean my dog runs away when i put lego near her. Look on the bright side, you could make a moc where he is hit by a cannon ball or smashed by a rock or sail
