The old ones were great, but i've lost intrest in the new ones, the best parts was the random images used and the refrence to noseforatu Examples, and dont forerget Moar krabs (i cant find a picture)

Also check any TJ-max or marshals for lego, a few months ago i got the batcave set on clerance for 25$ the UCS batmobile for 25$ and archam asylam for 35$. There isnt always LEGO at these two stores but when there is its usualy old sets that arent sold anymore

The new singers faces are a nice addition, i can think of plenty things they can be used for

Part Two: Reviewing the finished set Minifigures: We get the large geolix rock moster and an avarage miner,could have included another but im happy. Geolix has one arm that throws when a trigget is pushed down in the back and the other can just be positioned for anything else Now to the Rock wrecker the moment you have all been waiting for! The Front in pictures just doesnt seem to look right, but seeing it in person on display changed my mind The front grill is one of my favorte parts, it just seems realy fitting to the set The Left side isnt that bad, there is a small sorage area on the side that can hold a few crystals and the hole, well i will get back to that later... The back doesnt look all that bad the way the two wheels interlock is a nice touch The right side is a bit dissapointing, i dont see why another storage box was put on this side Now for the hole, lets stop making a big deal about it and find somting usefull for it! Two off the top of my head, place for miners to sit for transport or a brown storage crate full of crystals. The back flick fires fold up and down, they work okay just depends on how you use them The top has a nice design that flows evenly to the front to the back. This part i realy like. The grill slopes go all the way up to the top that can be removed. Also the stickers say "Air 1" on the left and "Air 2" on the right under the scratches. The inside is roomy has a steering wheel and coffee maker And finaly the spinning blades. They are pwered by the blades rolling up against these rubber wheels Underside of the blades And underside of the whole set. Overall this is a great set and cant seem to understand why everyone is disliking it... Minifigs 8/10 could have used a new face and included a second one but geolix makes up for it. Build 9/10 not much ir sepeated and its a quite unique way tou build with those blades Swooshability 10/10 what can i say the blades spin and thats just awsome! Parts 6/10 nothing special here. Smell 10/10 smeslls like LEGO Price 8/10 a little overpriced but may just be due to the large parts Overall 40/50 room for improvement but still is a great set.

After a visit to the lego store to pick up some more PM sets i noticed there werent any reviews of this set yet, so here goes my first review of the Powe Miners Rock Wrecker! Some nice box art showing the Rock Wrecker in action Back of box shows the play functions And the top shows the minifigures in what seems to be a fight? Well now we know that rock monsters have bad aim, i mean how hard could it be to hit that miner? The contents of the box, one instruction book one sticker sheet and four bags. I opened one of them befor the picture Random instruction page And its true there is a coffee maker that goes inside, which i found to be funny Bag one builds the top half of the RW And bag two builds the bottom half. top two blades are added on last Up next the review of the full set!

The 2x2 tile behind his desc could be security cameras with pictures of each individual room

I have officialy began work on it today, here are some picture of whats going on so far... Overall shot The ground will not stay black however. I plan to smooth it off with some light or dark grey tiles not too sure what this room will be yet, i might just finish it with a TV on the large empty wall between the windows

Realy makes you think what will happen to Star wars sets in a few years when the licence expires, if anything it will make this topic look like resonable prices for retired sets

After picking up some more power miner sets yesterday at the LEGO Store, i began to think of making a Power Miner HQ. Right now i am just thinking of things that could be used in it and am making some scetches of what i will be doing. Here are some of my ideas... It will be above ground with an elevator like system for smaller mining vehicles about the size of a mine mech or gramite grinder A storage area for crystals and equipment A Reserch building with all the computer systems repair garage for vehicles (may or may not include crane or wench systems that can go down into the mines The building/ HQ will be a mic of Dark and light grey Equiptment will be the regular lime green and orange (mainly because i have the most grey and ligth gery parts and want this to be big. The elevator shaft will be in the middle with the other buildings surrounding (possibly) Any other ideas for any other part of the structure? I am not sure when i will get started on this but it may not be soon, i have the urge to do some Iny mocs. Thanks for the help.

she just got rid of one of them, but im not sure she realy is aware of the difference. They were just fighting all day and took them away from them

Earlier today i was working outdoors at my grandparents house when my younger brother got into an argumet about mixing his Mega blocks and LEGO together. Before we knew it both bins were dumped all over the dining room. A huge mess of Mega Blocks mixed with LEGO as everywhere . Obviously my grandmother was ticked off at the mess and the mix of the two brands. We sat for an hour sorting the Lego out of the mega blocks . But then came the good part, the lego was put back into the closet and the mega blocks got locked up never to be played with again . The last words spoken about it from my grandmother was "I never want so see a mega block with a lego again in this house." I couldnt help but find this whole ordeal to be a bit funny (My cousin suggested we post this and i thoght it would be okay, sorry if its not )

Ahh sounds like the one in cincinatti! Looks like i may only be getting te small PAB cup if i get one at all depends on hats there!

I would say im about 98 percent purist. The two ercent peing lighs and string. Sring mainly for things like zip lines replacement for other broken strings and boats. But i usualy try to stay mainly using just LEGO parts

Im going there tomorow for the Minikit how big would you say it is? Is the PAB wall big or small the suspense is killing me!

While i personaly realy disliked the movie, you realy did a good job on this, i love the use of all the colors and swirling discs. The Ompa loompas are great along with the other guy, i cant remember his name

I got this set on sale for 30 dollars, and i love it. THe problem is i took it apart a while ago and am currently searching for all the parts to re assemble it I only have the last section to go, but its worth it.

I got my flying pig set from the opening in cincinatti, and in four days im getting an exclusive salamander set form the opening in columbus, so cool to have two LEGO stores within an hour of you house! One of the thing i find nice is that when you go to a LEGO store grand opening all the employees are actualy happy and enjoyig it rather some other store where an employee just wants to leave . its a job i would like to get but i doubt it will happen Edit- Here is a picture of the salamander set

sigh* So many times i have dreamed that i just received a large ammount of LEGO sets that dont realy exist but are still cool and by the time i get to even opening the box i wake up

I have only seen one so far i think it was called "The Secret Santa" realy confusing episode robot santa army living toys and UFOs. overall thogh it didnt look too bad.

im realy debating on this set, it would definatly be a parts set for me but i love the minifigs Perhaps i can get it for my birthday. The set itself isnt all that great but like i mentioned you get some great parts and mabee i could make a recreation of the movie schese with it (you know a MOC of the whole tomb and hiding places for the warriors?)

The prices realy have sky rocketed, i saw the price for Mr. Freezes buggy or whatever it is (usualy 10.00) being solg for 64.00 on bricklink. Makes me happy i got so many set (Batcave batwing UCS batmobile archam asylam Mr freeze chase)
