Green: A better Color for better building
MrTools replied to fallentomato's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Now i want to make an environmental brickfilm! Great job i too love the scenes you have set up Keep up the good work. -
Well construction has came to a hault, ive had school work pile up and a few more design ideas. I will be making a big brickling order soon of lime green and trans black windows to get a better Power miner feel. I will also try to incorperate the new lava miner theam into it as well with a large water tank. But as for now it has returned to the brainstorming phase.

good idea, i will make a better version with a bigger ax or someting. As for saving money, i am saving up to get a bag of holding ninja remote and DIY straw kit from thinkgeek now...

With all the pictures of the 2010 sets and various times reading posts about how "Im not going to be able to afford all these sets" and the "my wallets going to empty after these come out" posts i thought of this little MOC/ picture. So if you want to make a LEGO vs. Wallet just pictures here for all to see. I would make this a contest, but without prizes no one takes much intrest. Anyway just a fun idea for a little MOC you could try.

Im quite impressed with the job i did on this PM MOC. I figured i should build somthing around the bucket that was included with the granite grinder.

I realy dont know what to say about the jail, but Silver helmets! And a new part that attachs to them! And did anyone notice the new rock monster? spikes and YELLOW!

Just now realized this wont be an official LEGO shirt. The baseplate is custom made by i beleive ThinkGeek, and like there other "Brick" products like speakers and flash drive it will not be official LEGO. Its just compatible.

That was a bad day.

I did see a ferrari bag. Does that count as licenced?
-
i saw one filled with red parts (i think from a ferrari set) one filled with a lot of yellow but nothing special and one with some misk brown red and some minifig stuff. these two realy caught my attention the most though.

While at the lego store today, i noticed some people holding these bags filled with random parts and say a few ofn a shelf in a gack corner, i didnt know what they were, they didnt have a price tag on them and they said LEGO Club on the front, so i was just gussing they were deals for people that signed up for the club at the stores. So while paying for the sets i picked up (for birthday presents not me ) i saw another pile of them on the desk next to me. I asked the person working the counter what they were and he said, "Those are grab bags filled with parts from sets that were returned, they are 7.99" . Sounded like a great deal! I picked up two ( all i had the money for) So when i got home it was time to find out what i got. Here they are, two bags much bigger than a PaB cup I picked these two because all the big power miner wheels, love making PM MOCs. 1 Orange 11 black! A fireman minifig lots of accesories a cannon only one wheel some plants and some flame parts. lots of nice transparent parts, some slopes and tiles (and cheese slopes) Some interesting parts up in the top corner, big pile of usefull technic bricks. and some extra bricks. So what do i have to say about this? well its great! the parts are all brand new no scratches or anything and for only 14.00 well i think that is one heck of a deal! So next time you visit a LEGO Store keep your eyes out for these! parts from, Maximum security transport Cannon battle Fireman Thunder Driller and possiblyone more wer in these two bags.

I have both sets, and personaly i think the Y-Wing is the best one its a little more detailed than the B-Wing and has some good parts.

LEGO Pieces you like but most AFOLs hate
MrTools replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The big Wing from the flying wing set. I havent used it for anything yet, hasent been connected to anything after it left the flying wing set. I just like knowing i finaly have one -
I still "play" with my creation and sets, but im more into just building displaying and collectionc. I play with things that have functions like the thunder driller just without the "Vrooooom!" "Crush" sound effects, well somtimes I usualy jus sit down and push em for a while and come up with ideas to use it in somthing else. Now thith trains, i dont have any official train sets (yet) but love to make them and push them around the track. (i have never taken any pictures of them, ney arent to good) I bring my big MOCs over to my younger cousins house and we have big castle battles all the time its quite fun

Looks very interesting, im assuming the front part of the helmet will be able to attach on, didnt see much of the head or other detail however. Going to have to get one of these when they come out, not looking as bad as i thought

Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
MrTools replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Im only two sets away from having them all, not including the command rig and crystal king. (i dont plan to get them just order the parts on bricklink) And im about to place a large bricklink order of lime freen orange and trans black windows for a huge power miner base, (i stoped work on my previous one untill i get more lime green. (sorry about my earlier post had some bad spelling in there, my "E" key gets stuck along with a few others ) -
The question you are asking makes me think of a simalar question, Push the button or Dont push the button. Anyways i open all the sets i get very quickly, i think the longest time i could go was a half hour I do keep the boxes however. And after reading another post i realize that if i dont have space for a set i would keep it in the bow until a space is clear.
