Rincewind without the beard. This is more according to Kidby's artwork. The sad expression on his face is spot on. The printed beard could be a bit more scraggy but is the best Lego has to offer.

It is working for me now. Uploading the invasion contest pics as I am typing.

You never know when it will be back. The folders are not empty btw. If you look at deeplinked pictures they still work, meaning that the original file is still on the server. Maybe they are updating or something like that....

Nice comic you have there. What software do you use?

I don't know what you call good but this is a great work of art. I like the way you integrated the restored keep in the ruin. Really nice work.

The evolution of Hrothingas castle stage >>4<<
L-space replied to DNL's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
It is another great MOC you produced. I hope you will share some of the technics used on the castle. Especially the 3 sided towers. pretty please -
While the talks at Heathrow on the gap are continuing Lola has just stated that it wants to participate in next year's season. In the end I think it will all settle down. Some teams will leave the F1 either because they simply cannot afford it or because they can't spend what they want and others will want to join. With the crisis and all it is hard to pay millions in sponsorship and development for an automotive market that is struggling itself.

In one of the Dutch newspapers this morning an article about the 45 million euro rule. Toyota have said they would leave the formula 1 if happens next year. RBR saying they will leave if it doesn't come. So this might be interesting. And about the statement by Max Wosley that F1 doesn't need Ferrari, much to Bernie's dismay who stated that Formula 1 is Ferrari. It ends with the upcoming talks between the teams and the F1 honcho's. to be continued....

Rubens expression at the presscondference looked like he didn't understand what happened during the race with the changing of the tactics. And i might give him the benefit of the doubt on this one. If it did come from teamorders to push Button up in points brawn might as well say so. After all if it is your first season as a team (allthough he is backed by a lot of money) you would do almost everything to get the championship. I mean just look at what Hamilton did for a couple of extra points. As for Ferrari, as a non-Ferrari fan I even feel sorry for them.

I just saw the rerun and I think Trulli just lost it. Couldn't see any bad driving or him being hit by another car. Simple bad luck on this one. imho. Great move btw changing the strategy for Button from 3 to 2 stops For the rest I do hope the rest can catch up on the wriggling circuit of Monaco. Almost everybody will gain something from the less downforce needed.

I just saw the summory as I was late back home. The crash in lap 1, both Fins going out of the race and the almost 'got used to' win of Brawn GP. Ferrari, I think, will be catching up during the european season. You can bet they are working round the clock to sort the issues. if not for the last races this season then for the next season. But I hope McLaren will catch up. Let's see if Hamilton can drive!

I sold my 7190 after getting the 4504 to make money for buying more SW sets. A mix off both would be best I guess. The 4504 looks great but is too fragile while the 7190 has the hidden compartment and other playable features lacking in the 4504. Since the 4504 is just standing I'll keep it at that. Oh and my UCS just for the joy off looking at seach a beast.

There has been some debate already about this. But I took the cover art of Josh Kirby as an example. If you look at The Light Fantastic (paperback) you clearly see a long, grey beard. Paul Kidby presents him as younger and with a scrappy beard. So there's room for two and pick your favourite. I stand corrected, Broken Drum it is.
