  1. If it keeps getter as from 1 to 2 the next one must be truly amazing. I wonder what it will be? Are going to keep all of them or just rebuild them for the next stage? Hope to see more soon.
  2. Maybe check out the topic here
  3. Great. I have my Captain Carrot in a bricklink order so I cannot show it. But I'm looking forward to seeing yours. Didn't think of Leonard untill you mentioned him. But of course he is an inspring character. And he should be in. And Cohen should be nice to see. Peppermint wanted to do something from The Last Hero, so lets compare your Cohens when your both ready.
  4. Nice jog you did here. This really is a boost for a more crossovers. Who's next?
  5. Again a great job. And the baest alternate use og tires a hive seen in a wile. Looking forward to the next one.
  6. Johnny Cash - Live at Folsom Prison Well actually the documentary but still, its music
  7. Yes I am planning to see it. I will have to remind myself to keep an open mind. You simply cannot take the original and copy it one on one into a scenario. Films and books have different rules. So with the open mind I say: let's give it a chance and enjoy the moviefor what it is: a couple of moments of entertainment.
  8. Totally, and thanks for the opportunity to win the in the future most cherrished Star Wars minifig ever. I'll stop sucking up and start building now.
  9. Do the minifigs and/ or the brick-built minifigs count in the piece limit?
  10. Sure, go for it it's a great way to get inspired. And you made me buy the book this morning, thanks.
  11. Another blast from the past for me. But a nice job you did on the ship and base. Perhaps if you switch the legs from the lookout for these it would look even better (IMHO that is).
  12. Sounds like a great idea
  13. Allthough I had to grab a dictionary to understand the title the MOC depics it all. Nice job, and a nice technic for the lucarnes (I had to look this one up as well).
  14. Oops, you got me there. I haven't really thought of that. I'm now only working with yellow heads. Mainly because that is my first response to lego and because I am basing the characters on my imagination and the covers by Josh Kirby. So my automatic reaction is: "yellow". With yellow you can create the cartoony feel some of Pratchetts characters described in the novels and you have more choice in facial expressions. On the other hand, yellost did an excellent sir Terry here in the flesh so to say. However, I do think fleshy is completely acceptable with movie characters, I do like them in Star Wars and Indiana Jones. And because we have mini-series and movies from the Discworld; Hogfather, The Colour of Magic, I think we can fleshy them as well. In conlusion: They both look acceptable to me, but I am going for good ol' yellow for now.
  15. I think I have spend something between 4000 and 5000 euro. I'm to lazy to calculate the current prices and it may come as a shock. Some sets have really become very costly. I got some bargains and paid the full monty for others . My list is on brickset. See link below.
  16. Now this is a funky little ship. Nice job you did here. It looks perfect for RAIDs Rapid Armored Infantry Deployement
  17. Wow, this a great display. I know it's been said before, but this is truly beautiful work. Interesting technics you have used, food for thought once more. Keep up the good work
  18. Yes sir Mr Spielbrick, you got the idea Just to bring some consistency in the appearance of the characters. And then build like mad(wo)men to great nice MOC's I think i can post the first characters next weekend, if the mail service works as promissed.
  19. Yes they are! It was widened by 10 studs, mainly because of the roofsections The panel comes from 7047 Coast Watch HQ Thanks for the compliments.
  20. Don't worry. We all started that way. So there's hope for you yet. and bricklink, ebay and many, many more
  21. After modifying the Imperial Landing Craft I wanted to do something similar to the Imperial Shuttle. To show that they belong to the same line I used the same roof technic for this MOD. And I had some left from the Landing Craft Well actualy nothing is standard anymore. A nice pic to get us in the mood: The shuttle in landing position. The pilot has been fleshied and got a new kepi for his birthday. The interior of the shuttle, normally the turntables have chairs but this shuttle is due for a major overhaul (for real) The access ramp, using the same technic as the 4504 Falcon. Pull the cockpit and the ramp opens. The roof section detaches for easy access. this way my kids can play with it. It carried everything allready; from casstle-knights to city-paramedics. The ship is scheduled for a major overhaul. I want to change the landing gear and the shape of the sides and wing connections. But sadly so much to do, so little time. more on brickshelf Death Star II pic from Jeff Russel Enjoy.
  22. Thanks for the review I see I have a new set to look for.
  23. Once again a nice MOC/ impuls set! Can't wait to see the rest.
  24. It isn't a planned project or build, just my own thoughts on the Discworld. However I think it would be nice as Discworld fans to agree on surtain things so it will be easy recognicable to others what is depicted in Discworld themed MOC's. I'm putting up what I think may be the characters in minifigstyle as soon as my next bricklink order arrives from the US. But feel free to join in the fun and put the Discworld on the Eurobricks map. That is what it is all about. Build with LEGO and enjoy!
  25. Sorry to disapoint you, march comes first. That means 10 days later.
