  1. As Torald isn't the best talker, especially in diplomatic situations, he decides to let the others talk. He just stands there, trying to not look threatening.
  2. Thanks! Torald puts the Tricorne in his backpack, and puts on Obsan's Masterpiece.
  3. Take them by surprise! They are monsters, I don't think being diplomatic is going to work. Torald takes a look at the items. Obsan's "Masterpiece" (SP: 10; suitable for knights, barbarians, beast masters, dragoons, marauders and regulators; Immune to Ice, Wind and Wood; bodywear). That piece of armor looks really useful, if you don't use it. Can I use it for this quest?
  4. Torald rests his head in his hands and sighs deeply. I can't do puzzles. I don't know the route. Why am I so dumb... He sighs again and looks out the window, hoping his party can figure it out. OoC: posting on mobile, so no colour. Also, I really don't know the answer, it's not only staying in character...
  5. Hello, I'm Torald. Didn't miss much, just got introduced to the mission. Gonna fly with some airship. We also discussed that the shortest route is probably the best route. Not much else.
  6. Hmm. I'm gonna trust you, mister Germ. If you are right, I'll buy you a mead, if not, you buy me a mead, deal?
  7. Nice entry! The tree looks really good, so does the cliff. Overall good entry!
  8. I'm ready. Not to big of a fan of flying, but let's give it a go.
  9. Hello, I'm Torald Waruelf, barbarian with a drinking problem. You can call me Torald, mister ... ?
  10. Take care, young knight. Aye, I'm coming! Torald stands up and follows Ezeran.
  11. Not knowing a lot of respect-traditions, Torald follows Ezerans lead and drops on one knee. It's an honor to serve this noble house, Torald mumbles. In answer to Ezerans suggestion to cross the desert, he says: Well, desert currents can be quite bad, with lots of turbulence. But, over the seas the currents are even worse. And the weather is more stable indeed in the desert, but you risk sandstorms. I'd say, follow the original plans, and leave the desert at all. We have to cross a big sea, that's is going to be a challenge on it's own. OoC: the stats look correct. I'd love to change the Spear for the Spark Hammer, and the Fighting Boots for the Boots of Drunken Boxing.
  12. Ooh, this is excellent news. Does this mean there is also going to be a Lego shop in the Netherlands (at last)? Exciting
  13. try it on different torsos, they have ever so slight width differences, or very gently tighten the hole on the underside of the head (I use my teeth, I know I'm bad, but when you do it gently no problems should arise). Otherwise I wouldn't know.
  14. Yeah, I hope that too... Torald sinks into thought for a moment. He takes a look at the Baubel. Yes, that looks very useful. Not sure if it is worth it, but it'd be useful.
  15. Not sure what to think. There seems to be a lot of arguments within the Union. Some people want this, but other absolutely don't want that. Take the latest argument. It was pretty much 50/50 on what we were going to do. That shouldn't be the case in a Union. But we'll see how things go.
  16. Thanks! Torald gives the Myrrh and the shovel to Ezeran, in exchange for 50 gold.
  17. What about 50 gold for the myrrh, with the inclusion of a shovel for free? Torald pauses and thinks what his friend might need in battle. Besides tonics, maybe some potions, or Nostrum. Heard that makes you more lucky. And some bombs might be useful, right? Torald takes a look at the Diamond. Looks really nice. He grabs a candle and holds the diamond next to it. Ooh, shiny and sparkly, Torald mutters, seemingly in trance by the lights.
  18. Torald smiles as he stands up and hugs the little knight, lifting him several inches of the ground. Good to see you again, little guy. He gently puts the boy wonder down on the ground, before looking a bit embarrassed. Alright, have fun. Could come with you, but don't really have a need to buy anything. O, by the way, I have something called Myrrh, and I don't have a use for it. Maybe you want to have it?
  19. Yeah, they are new. Got them for Grogmas. Haven't tried them yet in battle, but when I tried them on here in the Hall, it's hard to explain, but they seemed to make me stronger somehow. Really exited to test them out. Have you gotten anything nice for Grogmas this year?
  20. Sounds amazing! Can't wait to see it in action. Shall I start a barfight? Torald asks, half joking. No, but serious, that does sound very nice. You talking about fighting makes my blood boil. I've been idle in the Hall for far to long! I'm ready to fight!
  21. Really, a rift? Interesting. Maybe we should check that out someday. Torald takes a sip. Yeah, some business with a guy who was depressed about a girl he liked, and we drank some weird stuff a homeless lunatic brew, never gonna drink that stuff again, and, Simon was his name I thought, well, he got some super powers, he knocked a guy out and he got it on with a barmaid. So, apparently, I'm a matchmaker now. Torald smiles and finishes his drink. But you know, it is really nice to talk to you again. Tell me some more about those magic powers you gained. They sound interesting.
  22. Ezeran, my friend. Good to see you again. Torald scans Ezeran from head to toe. You've changed, haven't you? I feel more power resonating within you. Anyway, same old, same old. Nothing really happened while you were away. Just sitting here, drinking the days away. By the way, have you seen the new quest on the board, for Crescent Union folks? I signed up, maybe we can go together, like the old days. O, I completely forget my manners. Have a seat!
  23. Really? Discolored? Well, it's from marktplaats, so everything is possible I guess. Anyway, it looks awesome!
  24. Very nice MOC! Really love the snow on the rocks! And the ?old grey? looks really good in the walls. Overall a very cool build!
