  1. Here's my new sigfig!
  2. +1 to MarcusV3 please; easy to deal with, and parts in great condition.
  3. Wow dude did you take the pictures with the Hubble Telescope camera or something? The resolution of them are huuuge; do you mind trimming them down a bit? As for the MOC itself, the AAT seems a bit squat. Maybe if you elongated it a bit?
  4. Thanks for the links to the instructions, although for some reason I'm getting an error when I try to open the Fallingwater one. Is that dark green I see? Also, anyone know the price of Fallingwater?
  5. Seems like a decent way to get your basic bricks in lime green. The microfigs are nice, although I'm not sure how useful they'll be in other MOC's with the unique heads/printing. And the price really isn't all that bad considering you get a 32x32 green baseplate with it.
  6. Any basic plates/bricks in the rarer colors would be nice, such as dark brown or dark tan. I also agree with a greater selection of minifig torsos/heads.
  7. I'm just curious, what is attributing to the increase in production cost? You would think the longer TLG makes bricks the more opportunities they would have to perfect and streamline their system.
  8. That's good, I was only half kidding when saying that( ), I would hope everyone knows their world map nowadays (especially if you live on this side of the world).
  9. This is the internet where everyone is entitled to their opinion, so I'll have to respectfully disagree with you here. My parents were illegal immigrants to the United States in 1980; they became "real" Americans when President Reagan signed the Immigration Reform and Control Act in 1986. Long before this law came into existence, they learned English, assimilated themselves into American culture/community and were always grateful this country gave them a chance. They've worked hard all their lives and continue to this day. To generalize and name call in the manner you did is both disheartening and offensive to say the least. I seemed to have turned out alright, illegal parents and all. As I'm sure no one wants to see this morph into a political argument, this is where my post becomes on topic. My parents are from El Salvador, which makes me 100% Salvadoran (bonus points for anyone who knows where this country is )
  10. Totally understandable. The more I look at it the more it's growing on me. Dark tan would be an awesome color, though the limited pieces might hinder you some.
  11. Trust me, I'm not just saying this, but that is better than anything I could ever do. Sometimes I just sit here and wonder how in the world there are so many great MOCers that build amazing castles on this site; sure yours may not be the most elaborate or biggest, but I can tell you really tried to create something that was unique. Maybe one day I'll be as good as others at building MOCs, but in the meantime I'm glad I'm able to draw inspiration from creations like yours.
  12. +1 to booger540, fast shipment and exactly what I wanted!
  13. Happy Birthday guys...one year closer to senior citizen discounts!
  14. I've always had my eye on the GG ever since it came out, though it's not looking like I'll be getting it anytime soon. I'm hoping they keep it in production for another year or two, but if worse comes to worse I'll just have to make do without it or try to trade for it later on.
  15. So what was it like making the Terminator films? EDIT: And so I can stay on topic...
  16. No prize, no MOC! Haha just kidding, seems like a very patriotic thing to do but I'm afraid I don't have much time these days. I'd like to see some of what you guys come up with however. Where's yours, Darth Legolas, for inspiration?
  17. I really like it, though the blue doesn't seem very dwarf-like to me. Maybe if it was in dark green or something a little less vibrant?
  18. Sounds good, I sent you a PM.
  19. I might be interested in a few of your sets; how much would shipping be to the United States?
  20. First one to post a pic of a real life minifig cake gets umm...my respect?

    New LEGO cap!

It's nice that minifigs can finally see with their hats on backwards. Hopefully it's a new mold since it's always nice to have more variety, though I wish they would have made the bill even more curved to differentiate more from the old version. Now we just need licensed hats so my sigfig can rep the Red Sox!
  22. I certainly see your problem salty tbone, especially since I ran into the same problem not long ago. I guess I could sort into different sized bricks/plates/etc., but sorting by color is more to my liking as of right now. As my collection grows I'm sure I'll have to switch over to the specific type sorting, but that is going to require a lot more room than is currently being taken up with the color system.
  23. Has anyone applied to work at the new stores opening? I walked by the spot in the mall the other day where my local one is opening up but all it had on the wall was opening soon and no person or application in sight.
  24. I was never into Harry Potter so I skipped most of these sets from the outset; wish I would have picked this one up, some really good parts in there. Any chance I could pry that green cape away from you? And great review by the way.
  25. This truly is an amazing building, the interior is one of the coolest I've seen. It's hard to top your castle, but this one comes in a very close second.
