OOC: I thought this would be a good place to write about this so as not to clutter up the other thread. Since Sarick hasn't divided up the loot yet, I'd also be interested in the bow because I'm planning to become a hunter (spoilers ). I think Nerwen also expressed interest in it so it would be fine if she gets it as well. Either way you should divide up the loot before the big ol' battle starts Xarrzan, otherwise the forgetful awesome QM's might forget about it.

OOC: I had originally planned for the axe to be poisoned, but now that I think about it since I'm lucky I don't think having aim is all that necessary so the club is fine. And I should only have one venom, haven't updated my sig but I'll do it right now. Xander saw the group tasked with capturing Emeraldo begin to gather their belongings and head to the designated area of the palace; turning to De'kra, he began to speak: "Nyx is right; we have all grown as fighters and as people. Having quested with you now on two separate occassions, I have seen with my own eyes the remarkable transformation you have undergone. There is still much to accomplish; whichever future path you choose, De'kra, I hope you do not lose sight of the compassion in your heart and the inquisitiveness of your mind. Although the past for you has been hazy at times, it defines who we are -- and these past quests have taught me that you are a true friend." Putting his hand on De'kra's shoulder, he concluded, "I truly hope we meet again, it has been an honor serving alongside you -- see you in another life, brother." With a resolute shake of his head, Xander began to make his way to Team Yellow's position.

OOC: I should have the lucky effect since I drank a nostrum, and I also used a venom.

Xander handed the Phoenix Essence to Nerwen, hoping silently she wouldn't have to use it.

Xander listens to the other heroes devising plans, huddled over a map of the palace. Feeling a slight tap on his shoulder, he turns to see Nerwen with a determined look in her eyes handing him a nostrum. "Thank you, Nerwen," Xander says in a comforting tone. "If fate does not allow us to meet again, it has been a pleasure working side by side with someone like you." Walking up to group with the map, Xander addresses the tan ogre: "If no one has any objections, I would like to join Team Yellow and deal with the traitorous Emperor; we have unsettled business that needs to be attended to," he says as he points to the corridor near Emeraldo's wing. "I'm also in possession of a phoenix essence that will be useful if anyone requires it." Retreating back to his original standing spot, Xander begins to drink the nostrum while applying venom to his axe.

Xander repeats his action from the last round on Imperial Guard A.

Xander attacks Imperial Guard A from the front row, eager for the battle to come to an end.

Xander heard Cronk's wise words, choosing to attack the elite guard from the back row.

Xander continues his assault on Imperial Guard A, attacking again from the front row.

Xander sees the imperial guards breaking formation; turning to Imperial Guard A, he attacks from the front row.

"Let me help you with the Elite Guard, Galen," Xander said as he prepared for an attack from the front row.

I was about to agree with Chromeknight, this has to be some kind of record for most misses/ineffective rounds ever. Maybe if it comes down to just the archer we should all let only Cronk attack him to exact his revenge...

Xander could not fault Nerwen for attempting to heal him -- she was trying her best, but something was not settled in her mind it seemed. He silently hoped for the best next round as he got ready to attack Imperial Guard C from the front row.

Xander was aware of the elite guard's strength; because his health was low, Xander switched his focus to Imperial Guard A, attacking from the front row. "Thank you, Nerwen, your healing is much appreciated."

Xander closes his eyes for a split second, acknowledging the fatal blow on the mage; there was no time to reflect, however, as he aimed his axe for an attack on the heavy elite guard from the front row.

De'kra always had a plan of attack, Xander thought to himself smiling. Even if they did not always go according to plan, he was impressed with the shade -- if only De'kra believed more in himself. Xander turned to Imperial Mage A, focusing his attention on an attack from the front row.

Xander retreats to the back row to attack Imperial Guard B, reasoning a combined hit from the guards would not be favorable.

Xander turned his attention to Imperial Guard B, aiming an attack from the front row. He was glad to see the Rito return; the battle was more in their favor with even numbers. However, he noticed that both Nerwen and Denerii were targeting the same mage. "Do you think we should all target different enemies, Nerwen?" Xander asked over the sounds of battle. "That way the foes are unable to land any free hits on the group, which is useful because I am not at full health at the moment."

"Nerwen, do you think you could heal me this round seeing as the guards are all untargetable? If you do, I will take aim at Mage A in your stead." Edit: Attack using my axe on mage A from front row just to be clear.

Xander nodded to both De'kra and Sarick as he unhooked his axe from his back, readying an attack from the front row on the heavy elite guard.

Xander also hands his fire bomb to Denerii, nodding softly to the Rito. Turning to Nerwen, Xander whispers, "I'm afraid this may be the end. We'll need all the help we can get -- I'm going to drink this mysterious green potion and hope it gives me strength. Can I count on you to heal any ill ailment that might come of it?" Opening the flask, Xander smells the liquid and shakes his head slightly -- downing the green potion in one gulp.

A mobile site would be useful for the reasons distortme mentioned. I also tend to visit Eurobricks on my phone 95% of the time (no internet at home), and zooming in to "click" the tiny arrow buttons can get tedious. There is also the issue of picture heavy posts that could eat up someone's data plan, though I'm not sure if a mobile site would automatically make the pictures lower res or not. Finally, using markup on a phone is anything but simple, especially trying to change text color; I haven't had experience with the mobile version of other Invision boards, but I'd imagine there could be a more streamlined way of incorporating markup for mobile devices. Another thing that irks me is when clicking the button to read first unread post on my phone, it starts at the top of the page no matter what. Is this an issue with the phone itself or is it something that happens no matter the phone? By the way I typed this message via mobile.

"I am willing to volunteer a bomb if De'kra's plan is agreed upon. Will we have the help of the Rito? Perhaps we could use their flying ability to drop us on the roof of the compound and give us the element of surprise through a window or chimney; likewise, they can also scout the building to see if there is easy access to his private quarters through a window." OOC: Of course you edit your post as I'm doing mine Jim.

Xander knew better than to speak when he had nothing to add, and this was definitely a situation where he knew little. It seemed like the only way to clear the situation up was to interrogate Roland -- he would see to it that Roland answered to his past actions.
