It was actually done first by Carl Perkins, but Elvis did a cover of it.

What's the difference between Coke Zero and Diet Coke?

I would also suggest waiting for the 07 castle line. But if you for some reason need a one right now, I would go with the Viking Fortress.

talk about a disturbing ebay listing...
Sir Dillon replied to morris's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have no problem with someone selling their late son's belongings. It just seems to me, (if this is real) that she is using her son's death as a way to attract more attention to the auction, and get more bids. That's why I find it in poor taste. -
I like Coke more then Pepsi. And Dr. Pepper is better then them both! X-D

Thanks for the link, Sam. At this point, I think I'll be getting the two smallest sets.

Oh. Ok. I though he was referring to this post: Maybe I should start reading more slowly. :-P -
talk about a disturbing ebay listing...

I think that's a bit harsh... Lego2000 obviously thought Morris was saying it was disturbing because it looked like the seller was calling the Lego his 'sons'. If he came to that conclusion, I don't think 'reading it a bit more' would change that. That being said... I do find this auction quite disturbing. I find it sad that someone would act like their son died just to sell some Lego. Or if it is real, that someone would sell their dead son's Lego. :-/ -
I voted A New Hope, for very similar reasons as Hobbes. I also love the Revenge of the Sith opening... probably one of my favorite scenes I've seen in theaters.

Lol! That's a great video. Thanks for sharing. :-D

Is Jabba still alive? I though he was killed off... I may be a bounty hunter or something who's working for him... that might be kind of fun.

When I rejoin, (which will probably be in the near future) I don't mind being a rebel, whether I'm a traitor, or just an entirely new person doesn't really matter to me. Would that make things more fun for people?

It looks like he just has the flash on. If you use the flash the pictures are almost never going to be blurry, I don't think they look quite as nice though... One thing you could try is using just a stack of Lego bricks as a makeshift stand. That might help a little for the blurriness.

It doesn't? Goshdangit. I think I'm gonna sue that salesman. >:-(

I don't know how well they sold, but they seemed to be available for only a short time, which implies that they sold well. Though it could be because there were only a short supply of them. If they did come out with a new castle chess, I'd want to trade the skeletons also.

I want to see that... I'm not sure how I'll like it though. I'm a fan of the story of Thermopyle, and it looks like the story is going to be really changed in the movie. Still looks cool, though. :-)

Same here. I don't tend to keep the ones that hold other pieces together, though. Mostly because I can't find any uses for them, and don't really have a place to put them. It really depends, though...

I hadn't seen this before... It's very funny, and well done. :-D Thanks for the link.

This looks very good Sandra, I think you've really improved from your previous creations. And don't feel sorry about not posting much. Despite what some of us would like to think, there are things more important then the online Lego community. ;-) A few things that I think would improve this creation would be: More people. I think a few more people strolling about, and maybe a cart would look nice. On the houses, I would suggest making the chimneys grey, instead of the color of the tudor parts of the shop. I don't think it would go so well for the owners if they had wooden chimneys. X-D Swap the window frames on the brown shop and white shop. I think the white frames on the brown shop look out of place at the moment. If you gave it the black ones, it'd look better. Nice work overall. *y*

This is looking very good so far, Tom. You've adding lots of nice little details throughout, and it looks very 'alive'. My favorite part is also the dungeon. I like how it looks like the walls are crumbling apart, and skeleton lunged at the door. :-D I look forward to the finished product. :-)

Very nice creation yet again. :-) I really like all the different levels and platforms of it, and how tall the whole house is in general. The various details you've put along the walls are very nice, and add to the to the house nicely. The windows are a neat design, but to be honest, I don't really like the way they look on this creation. I wouldn't suggest changing them though, because it seems I'm the only one who thinks this. ;-) Is there an interior? I can see what Nathan means with the landscaping. While it doesn't look bad at all now, I think it's a bit boring... maybe adding some trees would help this. Overall I really like this... your creations inspire me to keep building. :-)

Hey Nick, welcome to Eurobricks. :-) Would this board game happen to be based off your ancestor?

Ah, good idea. These were needed. Another thing you might want to point out is that you are not allowed to 'kill' other members. Also, I'm about ready to join up again... is there anything dreadfully important that has happened that I should know about before I do so?
