  1. Nicely built, but I think this one looks a little too modern. Mostly the lamp, and the whole set up with the magnifine glass. I don't really know anything about medieval jewelers, though, so it could very well be historically accurate.
  2. Well, if you had a big enough budget, you could make your own. ;-) But seriously, I wouldn't expect to be able to buy one, let alone find one for sale.
  3. The one Boxcar posted is from his Brickshelf gallery.
  4. Welcome Anthony! I'm not a train person, but hopefully you're able to find enough train fans to fulfill your desires. :-)
  5. Do they? Around the time both themes came out, and I was looking for a Viking Longboat, there were tons of Dino sets left, but almost all the Vikings were sold out. (Though that may have been because not that many Vikings were in stock in the first place.)
  6. Hmm. Those don't really look like actual figs to me, but it's possible that they are.
  7. Marakoeschtra is also one of my favorite builders, but most of his creations were built in 2005, including the two linked above. He put the date he built them in the description on Brickshelf. ;-) I'm going to try to make a list soon, but there's so many creations to look through... 8-
  8. Lol! :-D I didn't have any problem reading your post, thank you very much. I just came up a little short on the understanding part. :-P When you said 'it', I just assumed you meant the set. Heh heh...
  9. I think he's saying that he also got a letter to join NAGTY...
  10. *ahem* Sam wrote in the post above... ;-) I think our Bling bling pimp needs to start reading a little bit slower. :-P I think that this is a decent set, but not great. Why does this one come with a director and camera when the other Spiderman sets don't?
  11. Welcome Thomas! I hope you enjoy your stay here. :-)
  12. Where do you live? Some time zones are ahead of others.
  13. On the table vs. floor thing, I like tables, because it's easier on my knees and back (I usually kneel while building) but I think it'd be harder to look through my pieces on tables... At the moment I build on a table about half a foot off the ground, just so I have something hard to build on.
  14. I agree with xenologer that this is better then the last one. The greebs aren't quite as obvious (I'm not sure if that makes any sense or not.. :-/ ) and it seems more flight worthy. I enjoy seeing all the creative ways of making greebles. :-) And on a side note, I added you to my flickr contacts...
  15. Yup, it a fake. It's a creation by that guy for the FBTB contest. You can click up in his Brickshelf to see more pictures. It is a very good creation, BTW... I wouldn't min if it were a set. *vader*
  16. Hello. Welcome back... again. Hopefully this'll be the last time in there... :-/
  17. I hope the line isn't over yet. Vikings are easily my favorite current line, and it be sad to see them end so soon. :-/
  18. I actually think he was put back in, I don't know the reason, though. (He may not be in the chamber, but he's still a 'bad kid', and his title has a NOT added to it... can anyone clarify?)
  19. Wow! Congratulations Steve. *sweet*
  20. I think are actually stickers in the biggest sub set. (the 60
  21. Strange, I thought I had replied to this. :-/ Anyway... This is a very nice creation, Brickster. I really like the color combinations, they work really well together. The structure itself is well done, and is easily recognizable as Japanese. The interior is also cool, I like how smooth everything is, and I like the way the stairs are done. (I actually did something similar with my Black Owl Tavern) The things I don't really like though, are: The black 1x2 slopes on the ends of the roof. I know the effect you're going for, but I don't like the way they look. I could just be a personal taste, though. The lime green on the stairs. I don't really like those, mostly because it's the only thing in that color in the whole building, and seems to clash. I also think it would look better if you would have used a smaller baseplate, so that there wasn't all that extra room behind the building, that or maybe move the whole structure to the back of the base plate, and extend the path. Overall, I like this, and hope to some day make some sort of Samurai creation like this myself. :-)
  22. If you're giving them out, I think maybe TroyTMoore should get a CC refugee rank too... That's actually his title, but he doesn't have the little banner.
  23. Dang, I was a pirate... I think I need to take it again! *knight* :-P
