Sounds intresting Prehaps you could post the article on here once it's all done? That'd be cool PS. Harmacy.. Just noticed your Sig... and Love it
-
Yes, Very BUT I have no money. And when I do get money I spend it on stupid good deals like the Tie Defender I may stick a couple of my own extra sets on TM too to prehaps raise some money for it...
-
If anyone here is keen on a couple of old (the original ones - old-gray) Tie fighters, let me know. I'm wanting to buy more newer ones instead of having a mix of grey and bley

I'm quite surprised so many people don't like this set. I quite like it. I even ended up buying a secound a few months ago. This model's biggest downfall is the fact it's in Old grey, but that is, of corse, un-avoidable due to it's age. It still looks very nice and I think it's a very nice set, and it's still better then half the CW nonsence lego seems to be releasing at the moment. Not sure why everybody thinks the new one is so much better? I'll admit I haven't actully got the new one myself, but from the pictures it really doesn't look much better. It came with the lovely EP.II clones, and wasn't too badly priced. Good review for a good set

Wow.. Well done Anio! This is one very well done MOC! The grebling is truely an artwork. I absolutely love it. Great job

Well there's still no harm in trying And CF, there'll be some good lego shops round your area too, you just need to go find them

Weight has a varying factor in price depending where you live. But Size is (amlost) always part of it too The boxes of the 4 giant sets (10030, 10143, 10179 and 10188) are all quite solid and are made to be so. You won't be able to break them down very easily at all due to their design. If the box matters, you'd be better off just getting it sent MISB in the original Lego shipping box. If you really wanted to save postage costs, you'd need to get it without the box(or inner boxes), which would save quite a bit, but then it wouldn't be MISB as such Hope this helps

The 20% off voucher only works off RRP, So no

Tie defender for over 60% off

Well I just got home last night. Ended up caving in and buying a Tie Defender out at toyworld Coastlands ($40 is too good - I'll probably use the parts to start converting my other ties to grey ). I'd never been there before but It's a great place - very good selection for such a small store, and great staff too - they seemed to be quite into their lego there

This is incredible. It's very well done. But with all honesty what the heck is the point in such a insanely massive MOC? 350,000 Bricks... Thats... Mad. And thats before I even think of how much this thing would have cost. But, ignoring that, It is supurb. Lots of nicely done details, and very accurate. Don't get me wrong, the size is amazing... I just can't see the point. You could have shown just as much skill with a MOC 1/10 of that size. But none the less, good stuff

Who is this contact of yours? It he some shop owner or something? Any heads up on where I would go in/around Wellington when looking for lego? I'm heading up tonight and staying for a couple of days

There's a differance between 'Limited/Special edition' And Exclusives. Exclusives are usually Very big, and only sold via Official Lego stores (depends on your country though) And have Numbers starting with 10XXX Limited/Special editions are just normal sets that are sold exclusively though one chain. These have 4 digit Numbers like usual. Confusing, yes - but there is a differance We haven't heard much (anything?) About next years 10XXX Exclusives I don't think

Oh whoops. I misunderstood that earlier post. I thought you ment it was from Eskimo Lego Sets, but It seems you ment Playmobil Eskimo sets. I understand now So the hairpeice and Blanket? Is that it?
-
Hmm, Okay (not ok-ey) dokey, I think we're in agreement - It must be the Blue blanket Very clever EDIT: Oh no! Another part?..
-
Thats great It's a very good MOC and a very funny Idea, AND brilliantly excecuted Very nice. I really love how Chewie is smashed into the floor, It's done very well - nice job Hmm. The 'headlight' seems to be from this part But I can't find that blanket anywhere But I swear I;ve seen them before. Just not in blue apparently The only part I can see that I don't recognise is the.. thing's hairpiece?
-
Hmmm, Thats intresting, thanks Draggy Shame about PQ, But luckily It will save me being tempted by their lovely parts I'm heading up to Welly this weekend - Anything worth knowing?
-
Here's a great deal if anyone wants a (very) good parts pack. I would buy it myself If I had any money, which I don't. Hopefully someone here will manage to snab it up. It's a lovely set built - be warned link

Just picked up The 8264 Technic Hauler for the bargain price of 45NZ$ I'm very happy with that - Great for technic parts
-
They are a bit odd Ronc, Your officailly mad. Why didn't you buy the set when it was availible? It sold nearly as badly as the new Tie defender I remember seeing it marked down to $60 multiple occasions, It even got down to $25 over in the states Thanks for the heads up on the 7258 CF, but I ended up being offered another one for $80 I really need to stop spending money!! A 7258 And a 7676 In the last week and a bit

Yeah, I'm not ruling that out - Or someone coming in early and just buying 95% of all Lego Stock. Hey - I'll admit it, I would have spent more than my fair share if I could have. 50% off was a joke! From what I've found out, it was just a stock mover to make room for new stuff before christmas Pritty crazy though - The Cranford St Toyworld has always been odd - they never follow the catalouge, and always have random sales. I reamember picking up a few AT-AT's half price there for no reason when they first opened. Not an old set at the time, mint cond. I was quite chuffed
-
Did anybody manage to get any Lego at the TW Cranford St sale? 50% off storewide. I got there at 9.45 this morning and there was no lego on the shelves at all. Lines were huge. So much for a 4 day sale - more like 4 minutes in the lego section. Ah well, It was fun to try

It's a teaser picture from Greg Hyland You can see some of next years figs but can't make out exactly what they are The sets are blurred out though
