    Slave To The Brick!

Thanks. If there's one word to describe my comic style, I'd say melancholy. No matter how busy a panel is, everyone is chilled out.
  2. If you had, you wouldn't have edited your post pointing a finger at me Regardless, I recommend you never play a mafia game against me.

They're out in June, but it's always good to write ahead of schedule

    Slave To The Brick!

It's not looking and buying Lego that embarrasses me, it's going and looking every two weeks, when it only changes every two months
  5. Well, we all had one protection from each other (and a 'special' protection The Vizier promised but never explained) and whatever we could round up ourselves. I had 'partners' on the first three nights so it would have taken three votes, meaning heavy suspicion, to knock me out. I think it was balanced for us in the first two days and against in the second, which means things balance out. We also played better in the second two days, which balanced things out. I was thinking about Shadows advice, and if we'd thrown our votes out willy nilly the first two days, surely 3/5 would have been duplicated by others, but maybe we could have racked up a higher body count. Considering near 1/4 got knocked out the first day, it would have been hard for us to be anything more than a drop in the bucket of that massacre... I was just looking for a partner It's a game... on which our whole EB reputation rides on

I loved them, but I didn't have time to enjoy them... I bought the Home One set too, and I drunkenly threw it together while jet lagged... One a month is the correct pace. Me too I actually had a chance ten years ago in Toronto, but I proved unreliable. I couldn't produce quality on a deadline. Just when the mood hits me.
  7. Yeah, that was funny. I'd sent my actions in too! It's only fair I got suckered somewhere.

    Slave To The Brick!

I just like the concept of a corporate spokesman who bullies people, and also being bullied by one's conscious. Brickie could very well have been a real spokes-character in somewhere between the 1950s and the 1980s. A year ago, I knew I'd hit the point of 'a reasonable amount of Lego', and I just need to find humor in it now since I haven't stopped buying. It's been over a year since my Star Wars obsession, but habits are hard to break.
  9. This is something I got done this weekend. I'll probably do one more in a month or two, without the guest star. I hope you can enjoy, and relate. I'd post a bigger link, but it seems this is the max of Flickr and Photobucket
  10. But that's why we didn't target Svelte after day one! We wanted it all pointing at him, which is what happened. I couldn't convince people otherwise on day 4, and I did try
  11. We had discussed it, but we basically felt that we wanted to get the experienced players out, since they were the ones capable of organizing people rationally, and we felt we could pick the noobs off easier at the end, since people wouldn't concentrate their protects on them. Little did we know the degree of acceleration in this game, the changing rules each day. Maybe we would have strategized differently if we knew we'd have so little time. Really, with 52 players, we were expecting 6-7 days. But, advice taken.
  12. Well, one mistake was splitting the votes on the first night, which jamtf suggested against (if I remember correctly) but we thought would work. One mistake. Then, the second night, who would've thought four players would join us against Dragonator? But we used our blocks and protects well, I think. And killed I Scream Clone, Quarryman and Whitefang well on the third day. Really, if the Vizier hadn't taken our protects we'd still be standing, and if he had allowed us to count our last night kills, there would be nobody standing. And “If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we’d all have a merry Christmas” I'm curious as to who targeted the Nizam on Day 4 though. We got six votes from eight people. Did anybody score two of us? I have to empty my inbox now though.
  13. Noooo! It can't be! For the record, I barely killed anyone, just Dragonator and Whitefang. The Nizam killed 4 players total! You guys did it all yourself. I really thought we might survive the night. All the winners would have been killed by Nizam if we hadn't been taken out first, except Rick. Who Darth Hawken said he was planning to take out Thanks for the opportunity Grand Vizier, I really thought we had a chance. And Big Cam and Inky, I didn't betray either of you, I was trying to build up legit alliances. Though I didn't protect you either
  14. All I can say I'm getting confident about is that jamtf was targeting Whitefang, Dragonator, and Svelte in thread (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=41483&st=45&p=735974entry735974). Since Whitefang and Dragonator were innocent, it's made me rethink targeting Svelte. I've tried to kill him every night, but, not only does he seem to be made of Teflon, I think I was mistaken. His refusal to die only convinced me more. But jamtf repeated finger pointing only makes him seem innocent. Sorry Svelte (and sorry Whitefang, I was one of your killers last night I was on the wrong trail) I'm somewhat at a loss today, but I know what I must do.
  15. Truly amazing. I can't imagine the craftiness it took to put this together.
  16. So basically just just want all of us to die. Nice one Grand Vizier. You could have just had your chef poison the food and save us the time and paranoia.
  17. You have my sincerest apologies. I suck.
  18. I urge the remaining sane to join us. The insane should (hopefully) be down to two, meaning the trusting alliance of three must be sane by default. Day 6 will be bleak otherwise.
  19. I have every confidence in Samantha, who Mr. Mason accused on day one and again today. I also have every confidence in Ellen, who Mr. Mason voted against in day two. Furthermore, Mr. Mason voted against Leo Nathans, as did the insane Wyatt, giving that vote little currency with me. That vote was consciously made to give them both credibility. We're running out of options, and Mr. Mason is now the top suspect. He's been duping us from the start, and has targeted two people I strongly believe to be sane. Only by playing against Nathans did he fall off my suspicious list. My mistake. This is a crucial vote today. Vote: Brian Mason/bob the construction man
  20. It's hard to incriminate someone unless they're guilty Is there something you're trying to tell us? Unfortunately, my votes already cast. I don't trust that the Vizier is gone for good though. I think it's just the next level of this puppet master's bloody, bloody game. What's he got in store for day 4; three kills, no protects? That would kill us even faster
  21. Things are looking grim folks. There's been a lot of deceit and misleading. I know who I trust, and who's looking less trust-worthy. But I made a mistake with Mr. Denton yesterday, so I won't be so reckless again.
  22. I'm in an alliance with one person on that list, but I can only trust him as much as the list can be trusted. But I'm alive, so I trust him that much As for the camel theory, I don't know if it was a joke, but it seems to be one of many clues. To take it verbatim seems to be the wrong idea. I'm pretty troubled by the fact that 9 people killed Dragonator. Can anyone take responsibility for that?
  23. My wife saw a half-price sale today while I was at work, and she bought me three small Town sets. I had two, but so what? She's so sweet, and I love her thinking about her thinking of how I'd feel when she saw it. I'm lucky. So, now, I'm going to go build my little 8402 Sports Car set
  24. To be honest, I do too, pretty much. There's only been a couple posters who've been flying under the Visor's carpet. To name name's in thread though... Sounds like the JimButcher theory ....
