  1. I think it's going to be little games, 12-16 players.
  2. I think it's pretty unlikely there are three protective roles. Even two sounds a unbalanced. I would think that someone who offered the information, rather than someone who was confronted and then used it as an explanation. Methinks something is afoot.
  3. If players crash and burn and have nasty repeated flame outs in the 'advanced' games, can they join in order to brush up their basics?
  4. Possibly, but in my experience, killers all have their own M.O. so if that's what someone did, it was due to inexperience, not craftiness.
  5. He isn't being blamed by anyone for Officer Nathans' death though. Since the killer wasn't likely a werewolf, it doesn't make Sokern look like a werewolf.
  6. It depends if they're good guys or not. For the time being, we can trust that Hinck's on the good guys side, and there's nothing to be gained with exposing other confirmed innocents. It actually puts a target on their head. If they're bad, even then, it's better to keep it quiet until they're being voted out, so that they feel relaxed until the axe comes down on them. As long as there are a few people who know what's going on.
  7. Welcome to EB! I wasn't aware the degree to which Lego had taken over Rufus' life! Lovely pics, and I look forward to you and Rufus fighting in the next mafia game
  8. Much obliged. I'm very happy to join the ranks of EB's great games. Hopefully it holds up in comparison.
  9. I don't think anyone is framing you. It seems to be between you, the late Nathans, and what Harriet was told by Nathans. Who do you think 'overheard' the conversations?
  10. Hmm, so the group you're in should be ineligible The werewolves most definitely would have voted for Zed, particularly when he was seen as a lost cause. The only reason not to would be those who would have drawn suspicion by switching positions. I'm not accusing you at all, but I strongly believe werewolves voted for Zed. About Officer Nathans, it's tragic, but as Mr. Synclair said, not entirely unexpected. He and Harriet were incredibly effective yesterday. It's possible Harriet could belong to another faction, but for the time being, she's got a good eye for hunting werewolves, so I'm willing to work with her. And everyone will be investigated in due time. That death though, doesn't seem like a werewolf murder. It's possible that the wolves targeted a protected person, the wolves were blocked, and the one I'm hoping for, the wolves are not all killers, just Zed was, and they are all toothless, as it were. We'll find out soon enough, I'm afraid. Now to review the voting from yesterday, to see who might have either protected Zed, or camouflaged themselves with a vote for him.
  11. I feel the same way. You seem to have a major love for marvel history, and I do too. Personally, I grew up reading 70's-early 90's Marvels. I would love to see an '80's X-Men line, Colossus, brown-costume Wolverine, Nightcrawler, British Psylocke, black suit Havok (with the weird head piece), that sort of thing. From X-Men 160-240 or so I watch all the movies, and I dig them generally, but they are pretty leathery, and not particularly colorful. I enjoyed Whedon's X-Men a lot too, he brought them back to form quite well. Image-wise, that is.
  12. I wish you all the best. My daughter had a troubled birth as well, being dangerously underweight, and the stress and helplessness was unbelievably frustrating. All you can do is put your faith in the medical staff, and be thankful we live in the era we do, when medicine is able to do a lot to make everything turn out alright. Looking forward to pictures!
  13. Welcome to the site! I'm a completely unprofessional cartoonist myself (Linky!) I just came out of my dark ages a few years back now, but I find I appreciate Lego more now than I did as a kid, and a site like this really helps build on that. Have fun here!
  14. A slut's lucky to get two pence out of me.
  15. I could have sworn this was Victorian England. Burn the witches!
  16. A mind blowing vid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMoco7wOCPg
  17. A heck of a lot,in my opinion.
  18. Assuming I understand the rules correctly (and I may not), there will already be a conviction, unless everybody decides to unvote. But if you want to add insult to injury with poor unpublished Zed...
  19. I'm slow too! Happy birthday Mr. T! (that's what we're supposed to call you, right? )
  20. I don't quite understand why you can't vote, but I agree with your logic... Mostly. These werewolves are crafty and paranoia-inducing. Consider these two situations: A) Zed is a wolf. Those who quickly defended him seem suspicious, but they may also have merely been cautious. At the same time, some who vote for him are surely guilty. Feeling his conviction unstoppable, they place their vote to show future evidence of their "innocence". B) Zed is innocent. Again, someone who voted for him is likely a wolf, stirring the pot, but I also think a wolf will protest the conviction, again, as future evidence of their "innocence". So, a conviction will show us something, but mostly more people's words to analyze in the aftermath. I am not willing to make a defense of a veritable stranger like young Zed, so let's hope this "gut-feeling" is leading us in the right direction.
  21. I don't feel a need to vote today, as the few votes cast are enough to condemn anyone, and I don't feel strongly either way about this bookworm. At the same time, having him convicted will shine a new light on all the bustling discussion that has gone on today, so, perhaps it's for the best that this vote carries through.
  22. Actually, the pretense for getting riddles from Henry that could be solved for hints was voting with the group, but any names the PR sent would get them. And, for the record, two Insane solved riddles, one indie solved one, and two Sinister solved them. Sorry you got left out. I had as much fun writing Henry as I did Dr. B, maybe more, since Henry was a snide prick. Dr. B was too neurotic. I think originally, the story was that Dr. B had killed his dad, and his ghost lived in the garden. Maybe that's what really happened
  23. But that's how I get my ego stroked
  24. That certainly wasn't the direction I was planning to take the sequel, but I'll keep it in mind!
  25. The key thing to ask yourself: Is it funny? The president shooting someone? Not funny... (though Cheney shooting that guy in the face was kind of funny). Slut mafia? Funny! I'm getting all sorts of ideas for my next mafia game. It involves this little whorehouse in Louisiana...
