You have to be strict about it. Demand other players rat out offenders, with stated punishments. I think it's really hard to be strict in your first hosting duty. The second time, you're much less likely to tolerate rule breaks.

At any time hosts can choose to have a no PM game. It's their prerogative.

Look up the insane or paranoid roles in mafiawiki, there are a number of roles where the result isn't what you're told. They tend to screw players up when they first encounter them, but with a little experience people get more cautious with roles, especially cop and doctor ones.

I took a break from that to investigate Schneider, on request by Falzone now I have some lame accusations from Falzone and my kids. I don't know what puts you in the position to point the finger. This set looks really nice, but it's overpriced (same price as the lastest Kingdoms castle, where I am, for a much smaller set). The mini-figs are realy nice, but they'll be repeating soon enough. After my fourth Indy and Anakin, I learned to count them as non-figs. Good review (esp. your photos), but I won't be picking this up unless it is on sale.

Not to rain on your parade, but that's somewhat of a dated racist joke; as Krusty the Klown says, 'Me so solly' I don't know if that joke is as frowned on outside of N. America as it is inside. It might be hard to say, but do you have an idea of what sets would be needed to build this? Like, I have the last two Slaves, 2006 & 2010. Between them, do you think it would be 90% of the pieces, or are there a lot of specialty ones? This is one of my favorite ships, so it'd be fun to give it a try. Oh yes, and thanks

I wouldn't worry about it, SD. I think it was just the wording of it. I think if you'd written "I love FBTB contests" instead of "they're the best!" it would be nicer and less feather ruffling. Kim T puts a lot of hard work in on contests here

As much as I trust your expertise in the area of condescending tones, the thread was started because I expressly suggested you start a new thread in Kiel's thread, and rather than do it, you made a long, long reply with some stuff I really wanted to address, like your calling bad MOCs, like, obscenities. I thought it a discussion worth having, but not in someone's personal MOC thread. If that answer isn't convincing enough for you, please PM me or take it up with a moderator, but it's not worth discussing in this thread.

I'll remind people, this is not a referendum on FallenAngel; it's a discussion on what you like in MOC, inspired by his critique style.

Not a bash at all. A member's MOC thread was being highjacked by FallenAngel's intense accuracy demands. I suggested he start a new thread, he chose not to, so I started a new thread to hopefully keep these philosophical discussions from over taking people's MOC threads in the future. No bash. nope, not at all what I was getting at. I wrote that the creator's intent should be considered, meaning that advice should be to improve their design, not to turn it into your own.
