  1. V-K - I don't think there were the bigger sets, because they may have been too big. The big ones would be the ones you'd take pictures of if you could. Everybody needs to go to the Space Police topic and look at the new alien minifigs. I'm amazed by them, and one head could make a good kadin, and another looks just like Chirox's or Kirop's mask!
  2. YES! All new alien heads and a four armed one! I'm definitely getting these aliens!
  3. Ar vel. I guess I'd better put this topic back on track... I'm on BZP and I'm called Onuta Nuva there. Just remember that my BZP personna is a lot more sane, and reliable.
  4. I have quote backup, so I think it's more likely that he's five. :P BTW, when is the next serial coming out? The first one was good, but it's been ages since then.
  5. The ever responsible Jinzo... What's Bunda fighting about anyway? I'm not too sure, but it sounds fun. O_o o_O <_>
  6. Full points for not having it show up on the outside, but unless you change it to a wireless controller, you're going to have to open the sandcrawler each time to turn it on/off aren't you?
  7. I wouldn't accuse you of being under-age without evidence!
  8. I'm a BIONICLE and system fan, so I love both sites. The only bad thing about BZP is the loading issues it can have at times. Apart from that, I think it's an awesome place.
  9. Sites like EB also don't try too hard to hide leaks, but they will remove them if asked, which VBBN's forum would as well I think. Don't worry, I love BZP and EB more, I'm just pointing out why VBBN's forum could stand a chance to gain some more popularity. Of course, it uses free-hosting forums, which is a massive limitation to it's potential.
  10. Despite Megabloks being the arch-enemy of LEGO, I've got two useful buckets full of glow-in-the-dark Mega-bloks, which work well for space engines. The problem with them though, is that the buckets also came with black mega bloks, which unfortunately got mixed into my LEGO collection once and took me forever to sort out from the real bricks.
  11. Yeah, prices for LEGO here can be killers can't they? I just realised in the first picture of the gatehouse, why does the knight on the inner wall have that expression?
  12. TLG has proven itself with the beefy rock-monster arms, so I want some wing-like minifig arms now! And I hope the alien heads are helmets to go on transparent-coloured mini-fig heads, because that would look awesome and provide limitless possibilities! I know that in New Zealand it's set for a release date in September, along with NXT 2.0. This should be the same for Austalia as well.
  13. People flock to the site that's most enjoyable. Sure BZP has TLG's recognition, but that doesn't benefit individual members much at all. The main thing that makes BZP so good is it's community and size. If VBBN's forum could provide members with something better (not saying it would, as it would be very hard to), members would flock to VBBN's forum instead. One thing that VBBN's forum has over BZP is it's lack of leak policies. People tend to like that better than TLG's approval.
  14. *Cough* InnerRayg *Cough* But in seriousness though, it's a good choice, because Toyfair is for prospective retail buyers to see and understand what they are going to buy, not for consumers to goggle at what they might buy in six months time. And seeing as kids under 16 are pretty much guaranteed not to be in the prospective retail buyer category, it makes sense to keep 'em out to make it more pleasurable and less crowded for the retail buyers.
  15. What does it matter? It's not like it affects anybody on EB is it? It just makes more space for those of us who are going.
  16. TLG wouldn't trust people like us with a zero-interest credit card for LEGO. The problem with those "zero-interest" credit cards is that should you ever be unable to pay the minimum, you'll start getting an interest rate that's much much higher than normal credit cards, to compensate for the initial interest-less period.
  17. Darn. I was hoping for a Zesk-Vorox Combo, but I suppose this one will work too. At the very least, the Sand Stalker better justify Fero having no 09 hands by using all of the 08 hand joints.
  18. The inner pit is OK, because it is part of Mata Nui. Most of the convicts were round up again, so they're all save in the custody of The Makuta. The outer pit wasn't part of Mata Nui I don't think, it was just the area around the inner pit when it was broken.
  19. Promotional comics do things like that because it looks cooler, that's all. The bad thing about that comic is that Kohrak-Kal has Gravity powers, and Vakama commands an army of Jala clones.
  20. What did end happily in 2008? The Makuta got slaughtered, Brutaka lost his Olmak, thousands of native EO fish got their habitats and homes destroyed by a titanic vandalising evil mech, and Takanuva or the Av-Matoran didn't think to save the Klakk that had just saved all of their lives.
  21. Yup, just read that comic now - you win. But still, everything else ended happily, especially the Flash animations.
  22. Techincally 2002 didn't have a climax ending, as the Bahrag fight & Ga-koro fight were the climaxes. 2002 ended with an epilogue, and is probably the only year to have a happy epilogue. No, 2003 started with the Kal, but 2002 ended without any suggestion of them. It's probably one of the reasons why people think that the first half of 2003 story felt a bit rushed and incomplete. 2005 did have a kind of happy ending I suppose, but that depends on if the Coliseum cracks = Dying Mata Nui was revealed at the end of 2005 or the beginning of 2006. I can't remember...
  23. No, 2002 was a happy ending and so was 2003. 2004 and 2005 didn't count for much because we already knew it would happen. 2006 wasn't shocking, it was just depressing because it removed a lot of progress the Inika had made. 2007 was pretty shocking, 2008 was predicted for over half a year thanks to good theory work and a certain leak, and I doubt 2009 will be planet collision, because that would resolve major stories too quickly for what BIONICLE usually does.
  24. Imagination... I love that word - it makes everything so much easier.
