  1. Pehaps the main character knights will look different. I think that's sort of cool, human knights controlling a robotic army!
  2. Is it like Dogpound or Leatherhead from TMNT, where there are normal legs, but a bigfig-like head?
  3. Looney Tunes would be great, and it could be another "cel-animated" world, but the problem is that the Looney Tunes don't really have a defined world. The cartoons happen wherever they need to; the most concrete location might be Granny's house!
  4. How is it not a castle theme if there's literally a castle in it and knights? We already know it's not historical, but all of the characters and locations seem heavily Castle-influenced. Technological armor sounds good, and I like the tank idea better than the rolling stilt legs we heard about before.
  5. I agree. Not to get too political, but English is the second most common language spoken in the world. Most Americans feel no need to learn another language, although foreign language is often a part of education here. While it may be nice for more people to be multilingual, it's not seen as very practical when your own language is spoken almost everywhere. I'm very happy to see the classic characters shaping up, though! Wizard Merlock, the mech-using King, and an evil Jester, along with four heroic knights! And better yet, there doesn't seem to be a princess in danger!
  6. But what happened to the old names? Are these new sets a separate wave, or just ones we hadn't heard of before?
  7. I'd really prefer a potential Wonka pack to feature charatcers based on Quentin Blake's illustrations, as I don't really either film version of Wonka. I don't like the first film's Oompa-Loompas either, so perhaps the "updated" illustrations from the books would be better. Considering the two films and the original's greater popularity, though, I would expect that one to be the source. But while it would be amazing, all of this is totally baseless speculation, so maybe we should stop.
  8. There's another one I should mention: The Classic Alien and the Witch. I love the Classic Alien's design, which is simple, recognizable, and appropriately eerie. And the Witch was one of my favorite early CMFs, due to her bright green skin and great outfit. I did give her the Lizard Suit Guy's hands, though.
  9. Merlock? Do we get a techno-wizard-detective? That sounds awesome!
  10. Does this thread even need to exist yet? All of these sets are 2015 releases, are they not? We have literally no 2016 news.
  11. Probably no Disney at all, as long as Disney Infinity's still going strong. I'd honestly love a Wonderland world, but Disney owns both popular versions of Alice, so that won't be happening.
  12. I'm noticing some weird patterns involving the checklist and my collecting. After my first eight figures, I was missing two figures from each row, and after getting four more, I'm still missing one from each row. Also, the only minifigures in this series with dual-molded legs are all in the first row!
  13. Wow, Bill Murray won't return to GB even for Dimensions? That's both hilarious and sad.
  14. Yeah, there's no chance. I don't recall the sets they made being very popular, and the show isn't relevant anymore, either. I think we know all of the licenses that will be included for now.
  15. Oh, I actually want him now!
  16. LEGO has reused print designs before...Look at the faces of the Crazy Scientist'ts Monster and Monster Butler in the MF theme. Harley's jacket and Pepper Potts' have the same back printing. I don't think it's real, though, unless there's a special edition of The Dark Knight coming out on DVD.
  17. Who says NJ's a cube minifigure?
  18. Oh. I misremembered it. I haven't actually seen the whole movie, so I should have done my research. If the book exclusive really is Nurse Joker, then it's a bit disappointing. More accurate hair in a new style would be better. Maybe Luke Skywalker's in dark orange or a nougat shade would work?
  19. I bet Michael's lines are recycled clips, or they would have shown him, too. He's not in great shape, so it makes sense.
  20. You misunderstood me. The part did exist in some form. TT were likely shown a prototype for the Age of Ultron sets since they were going to make a game based on its sets. They thought the hair would work well for Nurse Joker, so they just recolored the model. But the piece's design existed before TT put it in LB3. The color isn't "wrong", they just changed it to match the Joker's hair.
  21. Stay Puft can change size? Awesome! I thought the train scene was very funny. Does this mean we'll get a Winston minifigure with Finn's hair? I really like the translucent sparkly look of Vortech and his minions. Those would make for some really cool minifigures.
  22. I really like that face, but that's awfully strange for LEGO to send out unreleased parts like that. Also, TT probably saw early pics of the Black Widow hair and used it for LB3. No spooky coincidences there. I just realized we're at 66 pages!
  23. That would be hilarious! And simultaneously make no sense. Why do this? Is it for people who can't afford the Tumbler? I'd prefer a straight rerelease of that Joker instead of the nurse outfit.
  24. It looks like a custom. I'd expect an official Nurse Joker to have a new hairpiece or at least Black Widow's. The face looks real, even though the torso doesn't. Besides. where would his nurse outfit appear? I seriously doubt we'll get another Dark Knight-based set, and there are no rumors surrounding such a thing.
  25. I wanted to have a plate set up to display all of the 16 monsters in Series 14. To begin, I was horribly uncreative and simply set up four rows of black CMF stands on a green plate. Then I got the idea of integrating the packet into a sign for the series itself, as the little hole in the bag fit nicely over a row of four studs. Along the way, the process turned it into an extra-spooky stand that I'm rather proud of. All of the figures are in order of opening, i.e., the Banshee was the first I opened, and the Zombie Cheerleader was the most recent as of this posting. The tombstone itself isn't nearly as pretty without the packet. I ran out of normal grey bricks, so I just hid the other ones behind it. The tiles on the front of the "tombstone" pin the packet to it. The ones on the bottom keep it from hanging outwards, since there are going to be four more minifigures on that last row and it would be in the way. I added brown plates and tiles and slopes between the rows to make the grave look freshly dug. Note the two custom bases for the Specter and Banshee, which allow them to stand centered and in line with the others. Both required tiles behind them in the "dirt" to allow their ghostly trails to fit. Inside the display packet, there is a spare checklist. The packet itself is the Banshee's. Good thing I decided to save it and cut it open from the back! I probably won't be doing anything as elaborate for the next series, as it won't be themed, but I thought this was fun to make, and it's a better display than the boring rows of stands I had before.
