  1. Yeah, that's perfectly fine.
  2. Thanks. And nope. It was a terrible, terrible pun on "8-bit Mario" as in, the sprite for the Nintendo character, that I just stuck with.
  3. This is a nice surprise to come back to! Great work on this series. Doll "Wait, come back! I promise I'm friendly!" The sweet little Doll loves to be a companion to children, playing with them and having tea parties during the day and keeping them safe and cozy at night. Her soft fabric exterior, darling teddy bear, and button eyes are charming as could be, but still...some people are afraid of her. She thought she was cute and friendly, but now that people have run away screaming, she isn't so sure. Perhaps she'd better talk it over with her friend the Circus Clown. He seems like he'd understand. Pinata Suit Guy "A little to my left? OW! Oh, OW! you said to the right...OW!" The Pinata Suit Guy loves a good party, and especially the event just before cake: the pinata. There's nothing quite like bashing up a mixture of cardboard and crepe paper to get candy, or even pulling the right string to find the door. Any party he goes to has to have a pinata to destroy, and he always strives to win whenever he steps up to hit it. However, he continually makes a grave mistake: He dresses like the pinata. Whether he's up to bat or not, the poor fellow has found himself subject to more than a few beatings, and has had to replace his suit every time he goes to a party. However, it's all in the spirit of fun, and if worse comes to worse, the Pinata Suit Guy can always count on a break whenever the Pinata Party Boy is up next.
  4. That is very very impressive. I can't even begin to fathom how someone would go about constructing that. Very faithful and striking. I feel like some minifig-scale red balloons (using the new balloon element) would be great on the base.
  5. Ugh. If that's what it is, I'm probably going to pass on most of them. The flower I could use, but I hope they're not all obvious face-exposed outfits.
  6. I think the cannon is what we get and the two sets are going to be designed to integrate- the cannon in the Batwing already has a towball to hitch it up to the truck, so I think the two will be separate to encourage fans to buy more.
  7. There will be a second series, and it's best not to speculate or wishlist when we don't know that much.
  8. I'm calling it right now- none of those new game characters will be in a series. Maybe the warrior princess (is she an elf queen? I don't see any ears or cheekbones), but I'm not sold on them being made for real. There were plenty of designs in the MMO that weren't physically available.
  9. Some people want to focus on the sets, some want to focus on the canon. That means a singular thread would be full of posts that may not be interesting to half of the readers.
  10. For the hood to taper in toward the neck, they needed to have two pieces. That's what they were going for this time.
  11. I love how ridiculous the shark-walker is. Not sure if I'd get the set, though.
  12. Or a printed jar of peanuts? Or just the one? I doubt we'll see many accessories this time around, though, as the more or the bigger the pieces on the minifigure's person, the less chance of them coming with something. I'll be surprised if any of the full-bodied suits come with accessories, though the Rocket Boy might have gotten away with it due to his height. I don't know how they determine it.
  13. Oh, no, please, go ahead! The Ghost Bride was the main one I wanted to do this time around, so I waive the Pajama Girl to whoever wants to write her.
  14. I don't want to be rude, but it seems like the movie is trying to make the ninja designs a bit more unique when in uniform than before, so realism and army building were never the idea. And if you're gentle, it's possible to swap arms around.
  15. Huh. I didn't realize. Have they ever exploited the rotation of a hairpiece before?
  16. Have we seen circular nets before?
  17. I mean, he has a different hairpiece, not sure if that counts. They didn't update Poison Ivy for five years. Who knows, maybe they don't see the need for a new one. They're an innovation that adds just a bit of detail, and when you raise the bar, people are going to expect it to stay raised.
  18. Whoa, these are looking great! I want all of them.
  19. If this is a costume series, I don't think anyone is gonna look too real. I'd love a legit spider-person, but it's probably gonna be a cartoony costume or something else obviously costume-y. The arms idea is interesting, but I don't know if they'd do it.
  20. Orca is Grace Balin, who follows the same animal-gene-based healing failure story as Lizard and Man-Bat. Also, accessories are the norm for CMFs, but they're not the guarantee. Medusa and the Sad Clown were both in Series 10, yet have no accessories. Not everybody needs them or has a logical answer to it, but that doesn't stop them from appearing in a series.
  21. His body glows while the skeleton (printed on) does not. So it would have to be entire body pieces with the black print over it not glowing.
  22. I mean, Phosporous wouldn't need a glow-in-the-dark body. They could easily just use lime green, even though it might not be nearly as impressive. Besides, if he did glow, he'd look terrible when not in the dark- their only glow color is off-white, which isn't what he should look like in the daylight.
  23. I just noticed that the Garmadon torso was assembled backward from normal. It's not ideal, but I think it's funny that they did that just so they didn't have to make a new piece/to let it fix the torso in place.
  24. I can see that, I suppose, but it's still ugly. I wouldn't mind adjusting it.
  25. Oh, I'm disappointed in the Garmadons now- they didn't bother to make a new neutral torso extension- it still has armor on the back. I'd hold out for the vacation one to be different, but the pajama suit shouldn't have it, either.
