  1. With the newer SPIII helmets, the visors have to be removed for the helmets to be held well. The Race Car Driver's helmet is a matter of balance on the hand. A Headless Horseman would be amazing, though macabre! I never thought of the use of a black One Ring!
  2. How about the Tactical Tennis Player's?
  3. Okay, about the Mime not showing the extra heads in pictures, there is one explanation: It would look freakin' disturbing to see two heads next to him! And I am not choosy about whether the Rev. Soldier comes with a tricorn or not. If it does, it should be printed! Also, the "helmeted" Minifigures actually can't hold their helmets without pieces inside.
  4. The set is. sadly, discontinued. Curse you LEGO! Couldn't you discontinue this at the same time as the rest of the theme? I saw it once at Target, and never saw it again. I found out about it too late, looking everywhere for it, to find out that it was discontinued!
  5. Another reason this set is tragic: I never got it, and now it is a "Retired Product" on the S@H! I should have got it when I first saw it, but I wasn't into MF then! I really wanted this set and now it's gone with no good way to get it! I don't know how many times I can end a sentence with an exclamation point!!!!
  6. This will be a string of disjointed thoughts on your review, Kiel! 1. Oh my god, I laughed at the incorrect corrections of the spelling of "Amidala"! 2. The "pizza box" is quite a surprise, and I assume it's for storage. EDIT: Mine was not a pizza box! Why? 3.As for the propulsion tail being too thin, I think the tail pieces used for dragons and the old Jabba would do fine. 4. Why do you prefer the old yellow figs, if they were reprinted in flesh? 5. I don't think Olivia looks comfortable in the cargo hold with the burger, teddy bear, and Cap's shield! 6. The object in the hidden crate is a Gungan Boomer, an energy orb used in battle. Thanks for the review, KDM! I now see some potential use for the minisub: Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon covince Jar Jar that the mini-sub is special and turn off the mini-sub's controls. He enters the mini-sub, and the Jedi jettison it, leaving Jar Jar to be eaten by a Sea Killer! (If you couldn't tell, I'm on the anti-Jar Jar side of things!)
  7. I would get the Lyn Me Twi'lek for Jabba's palace. I like the pale yellow on the Twi'lek wearing the red net costume! Arealight's work is exceptional, but I like TLG's Aayla Secura and Oola better.
  8. Best: Queen Amidala, hands down! She is accurate from every angle, and LEGO designed her beautifully. I agree that the colored eyes were a bad idea, such as the old Harley Quinn. (Now where did the comment talking about colored eyes go!?!?) Many of the old SW figs are bad because they're old! The only CW minifigs that I don't like are the clones, Mandalorians, and humans. The aliens I'm fine with, as they aren't the same species as the humans. I actually prefer the CW Barriss Offee to the EP II-III version!
  9. Love the Riddler for the Ring and Collectable Disney figs! I noticed the obvious genie connection before, but not the others! For those who don't know much about Disney, if there IS someone, the similarites are listed below: Ocean King= King Triton from The Little Mermaid Fairy= Tinkerbell from Peter Pan (or one of many spin-off/rip-off faires Disney has made) Genie= The Genie from Aladdin Forest Maiden= Merida from Brave Great job, Oky! I'm happy to see more PIXAR references!
  10. All right! I have an idea that I simply MUST execute when I get Batman: Arkham Asylum Breakout! By the way, Penguin, what's your opinion on your new representation (also in B:AAB)?
  11. Sorry, I just didn't notice them, and no one else gave confirmation of all three being available.
  12. Malibu Mansion, Extremis Sea Port Battle, and Iron Man vs. Mandarin Showdown are now all available on the U.S. S@H!
  13. I've got a challenge for Penguin: Make a funny with no DC-related sets or minifigures!
  14. So true! This comic actually made the most sense to me of all of them! Not completely true! She also appears in the comics later on: And anyway, the Batman 2 theme is based more off of the comics, anyway, so she's probably a mix of a generic Quinzel uniform, and the face above (or something similar). My thoughts exactly! I like that he is "adorably creepy." Of course, the rope around his neck is more prominent, though.... I actually noticed it was a frog very quickly! It is quite ingenious, though! I don't understand this, either, and I think it is the only true con of this set. I would've liked to see one for Riddler with the mugshot replaced by a question mark! I wouldn't care who else was chosen, but Bane normally went to Blackgate. Maybe Catwoman? Thank, Cloney! I'm scared now! I had no idea Thi-Sen was insane! Great review, Clone O'Patra! I may review it myself in a few weeks when I receive it for my birthday!
  15. Just a question: Would you like me to diverge from the villains and compare the other minifigs of the Batman 2 theme? (Killer Croc, Alfred, and Harleen Quinzel won't be discussed, as they only have one variation.) There aren't many, but maybe I could go on to the corresponding sets, too. Shall I diverge, or let the thread die? (This is my first thread, so I want to know if it should continue or not.)
  16. The golden minifigure's name is Mr. Gold, making him sound even more like Mr. Monopoly!
  17. If you have the CMF Werewolf, those pants would look even better! I know it's easy to make Man-Bat, but the point is that I (and maybe others) want an official Man-Bat! They've got the parts, and maybe they could modify the hair piece on the MF Bats to make the ears pointier.
  18. Maybe you should check! Perhaps it has to do with the common-ness of right-handers (such as me)!
  19. Do you mean on both sides or just one? But the "gritted teeth" expression on the new, goggled side is odd without the cowl on... (and I don't mean the goggles!) Now I realize what's odd about Wonder Woman... she's overdressed!
  20. Hmm... I asked a guy at the LEGO store, and he said they should be out by April 1. Because the series should be released on the second month of the March-April magazine, and it isn't in it, does that mean that there will be no magazine spot for them?
  21. Well, Cloney, maybe yours is better! I don't actually have the old Catwoman, so I got the theory from this: And while the "feminine curves" printing is annoying, I think it has gotten better (excepting the aforementioned Black Widow ), so at least it looks OK. My mind naturally ignores the curves, anyway.
  22. It was all part of my plan.... I didn't notice it either, until Berrybrick from Brickipedia pointed it out! Can't....unsee....!
  23. I wouldn't call the grey bowler a "heinous crime", but I would have liked it to be green. I like the Super Heroes Riddler preliminary body and hat better!
  24. Yes, the orange and purple colors are from comic appearances: Another example being: Bruce Wayne's hair+ Superman's "cocky" face+ suit= a good approximation of Harvey Dent. Hope that helped!
  25. Oh, by the way, DraikNova, Ninjago is coming back.... Are you gonna change your signature?
