My first decal made using inkscape (it's a LOT better than MS paint). It should be printed on clear decal paper and applied on a dark blue toros for correct coloring. Feedback is appreciated .

Or just wait until it comes out in that agents set in the summer . You know, the mech robot one.

Can you make this head in flesh with a light bley gotee? I would be greatly appreciated .

Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Tinn-man replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Emerald Night = Epic Win Power Functions = Epic Fail How am I going to fit all of that in this, this, or even this? I've already looked the size of the battery box, and it won't even fit inside of the BNSF. I don't really like this new system, they battery box sticks out way too much. Oh well, if I ever get this set, I'm going to play around with ways to cover that up.- 559 replies

Well, I choose art, because I love to draw and paint. Plus, I want a place to show it off , and I don't really like deviant art.

Huge Price Increase for Pick A Brick Items!
Tinn-man replied to Eurospanol25's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Hurray for Bricklink  I just made a carbon freezing chamber in LDD (based on the same pricing scale as PAB), and I could not believe how much it cost. 120 dollars!!! For a little circle with some trans-orange studs and black grill pieces on top. Lego just screwed themselves over, and that's the only way to put it. From now on, all of my custom orders go through bricklink (or find my brick, or any other 'underground' lego site for that matter). -
The minifigures are cool They've added orange mutt hair, a quiver, new heads, short legs, flippers, and Mr. Krab's torso . AND ICE CREAM!!!! And some more baseplates. And a dog. (goes off to explore the rest of the LDD library)

Does anyone know if these are real? I kinda think that they are, but maybe not.... If they are, I'll have to buy some and try them out .

A fire station with a pizza shop? Those two are completely different, it doesn't make any sense at all. Plus, we're already getting a pizza shop later this year (the set with the bus ). I'm calling this one 'fake blog post/stupid employee'.

Sorry for the late reply, but I got lost with other threads after the toy fair Actually, it still is a medium entry, because I originally counted the treads as just one piece. 204 pieces total. Thanks for all of your positive replies.

Sorry for not replying, i've been working on a brickfilm with my friend all day. And yes, it is supposed to be Biden. I do like Spider-Man, and that is where the torso is from. I thought it looked better than the regular suit .

Hinckley is Ahsoka.........BAWAHAHAHAHA  This is awesome, it's one of the best versions of this I've seen!
-
I was bored last night, and had to take a break from school and brick-filming, so I built this.

At 2:26 in video, there is a set behind a black cloth with a question mark. I don't know if it's a fire station, but it definitely is a Cafe Corner style building.

I didn't think this was going to come out until July/August ! Where did you find it? This is by far my favorite city set of 2009!

LuxorV promoted to MCW Moderator!
Tinn-man replied to Bonaparte's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Huh, I thought he was already a MOD... Congrats, LuxorV. It is definitely deserved! -
Ok, please refer to the link in my post above, click to zoom feature, and zoom in on the lower right hand corner of the book. It says exclusive LUKE SKYWALKER minifigure . (Not trying to be rude, just informative )
-
That IS Luke Skywalker as an exclusive (bottom left hand corner). Now is he in his Bespin, Dagobah, or Yavin suit ? ... EDIT: Go Here for a zoom image. And it says.....minifigure image not final...great But it says it is Luke, and it must be a new design. Can't wait for this. . I knew lego wouldn't release a ton of OT set without a Luke minifig.

oh wow.... your future here is beginning to look like the fate of the spongebob license with random rants like that. I used to be a standard Spongebob Fanboy myself, much like you are now, and couldn't even tolerate anyone who said anything remotely bad about Spongebob. But now the show is horrible, and I haven't even wanted to watch it after season 5. (season 4 was bad enough, but it just got worse from there). And you have to admit that the lego sets this year were just the same sets in a different box. The main buildings themselves didn't change, they just added more accesories. At least Star Wars remakes had drastic body redesigns and actual improvements. Even if it is a cult classic, that doesn't mean it will sell well, or even make a good lego theme.
-
Wow.... Short Round is ripped this is one of the most amazing things i've seen you do in a while. What is the cave man's cloth from?
-
Well, usually Spongebob is a once a year wave, so TLG only releases Spongebob sets in either the January wave or the June-July wave, this year was a January wave, so we probably won't see anymore spongebob sets this year anyway, unless we get another exclusive like the hospital last year, which was released about October (when most of the second wave exclusives are released). And I don't actually think that Star Wars of Indy will end next year, I was just using them as an example . Plus, lego is good at keeping late year exclusives under wraps very well (like the death star).
-
This thread seems to be based completely off of individual opinions. Will the line end, maybe it will, maybe it won't. I don't know, nobody knows. Batman was an extremely successful line when it ended, and the tumbler was one of the most wanted toys for last christmas, however lego didn't make enough and canceled the line the next year. It doesn't make any cense, but that's what they did. Good, bad, or so-so, lego keeps making sets until their ready to move onto the next thing. Bionicle has been going down hill for a long time, and that theme shows no signs of stopping. We haven't heard anything about 2010 except that lego is doing a new disney theme. Based on your theory, Star Wars and Indiana Jones could also end next year. They don't have to keep making sets even if they have the license for the product. I never loved the Spongebob sets, but I still can't understand why people hate it so much.
