I know people are finding 2009 sets everywhere, but is anyone having trouble finding 2008 sets? My target only has the 19V and Magna droid starfighter.

wait a minuet, if this set is from episode II, then we will get a normal looking count dooku minifig!!! But, this could be a bad thing, because it wouldn't fit in with the rest of the clone wars minifigures. We'll just have to wait i guess. PS. Sorry guys i had to vote for mutt. With a hairpiece that i've used 10x more than a fedora, and that goofy-spaced off look on his face, I had to vote for him.

This set doesn't really interest me too much. Just thought i'd tell you it's available in the US. I'll probably just end up getting the thunder drill, or blowing all of my money on clone battle packs

BIG NEWS i just got back from target in the us, and the had about five of the set with the giant orange blade on the front (sorry, I don't know the name). Anyway, it was pretty weird, because the lego section was almost empty, and that was the only power miners set out, which makes me think that some employee just went into the store room to see what legos they had and put that out by mistake. Who knows what else they've got back there Oh, well, I might just be crazy. I didn't by it, because i don't have any money, but i do have pictures for proof.

I just got the x-wing that I ordered for my cousin, and there was a flyer attached to the outside of the box with a picture of the market village, a small S@H like description, and the price. It said that it would be available Jan. 1st. Just thought i'd let you know when it will be released incase you didn't already know.

Chrome Storm Trooper?!? Now you're just being silly With the appearance of so many new chrome minifigures, do you think that TLC will brach out and start doing chrome ships, like Padme's from Episode I? Or even transparent fig promotions for a ghost obi-wan

Oh wow..... this is epic I LOVE the mechanic torso, and the truck looks better than I thought it would. The planes pretty cool, but I think it needs the green stickers to make it look complete. EDIT: After looking again, it looks like the plane is almost to scale. A minifig can actually fit under it, just like in the movie!

It's an ok set, but this strikes me as kind of odd

I think it's because past sets were based off of such memorable scenes and iconic ships and characters, like the falcon, hoth battle, the episode III space battle, etc. However, the new sets are based off ships like the magnadroid starfighter, and as soon as I saw that, I said "what is that thing?" The problem is, they're running out of ideas, and basing sets off of whatever ships they haven't done before, resulting in some sets off of scenes I don't even remember. But when they do an iconic scene, they do an amazing job (death star anyone?).

I save my larger boxes, and I used to save my smaller ones out i threw them out. If they are taking up space, you can just collapse them by opening up the other side. You don't have to fold the box at all

I really love the truck. It looks just like a honda element!!! I love seeing the orange mutt hair in a cheep set That horse would look good in a zelda moc. And i could use another suit.... So many great things!!!! I'll definitely pick this set up

yay OT sets!!! I think the Millennium falcon might be fake, or a mini in the endor base or echo base, like vader's tie in the death star. The venator sounds cool, to. Even though I'm an ot guy, I might have to pick this one up.
