  1. That's an impressive western town Klaus-Dieter. I am in awe of your huge cavalry army. UNfortunately the only cowboy set I have is Fort Legorado, although it is my favourite, but I wish I could have ammassed as larger collection as you! Oh Yeah and ofcourse we want a return of the Wild West theme! It was not outstanding and had room to be improved but it was a great idea for a theme!
  2. Pretty Cool! I actually prefer your model to the Raxus Prime on the game, which for some reason has a Gold tinted look to it whereas yours looks more grey and like actual junk. Two thumbs up from me ! That set cost $30? It cost
  3. Actually the chrome hilts are the old hilts that were included in sets up to 2007 I think. Then for some reason they stopped about the time the first BPs came out and now we've gone full circle.
  4. As I've already said somewhere on this forum, this is the largest Islander set I own and therefore my favourite. Thankyou for your great review. I picked mine up for only 5 pounds along with Crocodile Cage and King Kahuka, but I can't help you with the original price. I would search the web but I'm too tired right now...
  5. I almost voted poor when I meant outstanding, because on the other polls I've voted in the top grade is the bottom option not the top one. A brilliant MOC with quite a lot of detail, although I don't like the way that almost all of the furniture is squashed against the left wall. I'll just assume they moved it there so it was out of the way while they experimented on that poor defenceless orc, I mean Troll Warrior Keep up the outstanding work!
  6. I want all of these sets Lego, why do you listen to all of our demands at once? My wallet Aches. Not to complain however, I'll definately pick up the Outpost, Ship and hopefully a few Imperial Guard Impulses. 2009 ON! EDIT: Has anyone else noticed that on the pic of the outpost the Imperials are shooting their own treasure?
  7. I most certainly do love it as it's the source of two of my favourite CIS vehicles/droids/whatever, but it's only a small set and for me the best set is usually has to be big and include a lot of figures. Plus I'd say that the RGS is one of the most memorable ships in the whole PT. (Incidently, I had never heard of the comic-con exclusive set, but I'm quite releived that it didn't include much exclusive content, just extra clones and droids, all of which can be obtained rather easily. )
  8. Thankyou for creating this topic BlueBard, the second I saw this I rushed to eBay... it was a rip off but look at that beautiful bike
  9. I had to vote for the King Kahuka's throne as it's the biggest one I own. Crocodile Cage and King Kahuka are O.K. but are small so don't have that much detail packed into them .
  10. I'ld like it if it were that way too, and that is what I do (in mine they're from different regions of Japan) but I'm pretty sure Lego intended them to be split into good and evil factions...
  11. Yes, that's what I though when I saw the prelim pictures. Anyway, I love the Republic Attack shuttle, and I'll probably buy it. My only major problem is that all of my favourite clone vehicles are airborne and my faves for the CIS are on the ground, so it's a bit unfair... The AAT is awsome. I have no problem with Yoda having a new head as I already have 2 yodas and now one of them can have a clone wars body The battle packs are good for the figures but I think the vehicles are pointless (other than for avoiding a lawsuit). They're just going to be broken down for parts for me. Vaders Tie is the best TIE we've seen but I'm building my PT armies at the moment so I may have to pass on this. Finally, Ashoka's fighter. I think this is a brilliant set with two good fighters. It's a cheap set for me to get hold of Ashoka and a new astromech. The green head doesn't really go however so I am probably going to replace it with the head from the V wing. Anywho, WOOHOO for 2009!
  12. Ditto on that one. The Green Ninjas were certainly good, because I bought the minifig pack of them - a girl ninja, boy ninja and their shogun. The collectors cards stated that he was a good shogun and they were his guards.
  13. Great Review, I wish I could have bought this set when it was out, especially for the Jango fig. Only one thing however, where's the pic of Jango whacking his head on the door frame?
  14. Interesting theory, but to me the magnaguards are the worst part. I voted for the RGS because of the sheer awsomeness, and compatability into all clone battles. It would have been better if it came with more stickers to customize and more clonies, especially a pilot to drive it. Battle droids would add to it as it would have more to fight.
  15. Great entry, with humour and cruelty, but to the best of my knowledge, Burry, and Burried should be spelt with one r too (bury, buried) at least here in England.. I wouldn't know if it was an American spelling that you've used however. Apart from that my only comment is that I would put something on the sand. It's just a little too tan if you know what I mean. Try adding some more colour by putting a rock, animal or plant. Good Luck with PTV!
  16. I always thought these were the space droids from the pod hunter, are they called commandos? I really don't know, but to me these look identical to the ones from Rising Malevolence Rocket Battle Droid Well this is embarressing, yes that, what he said V (I fixed it anyway )
  17. Pretty cool with a lot going on, but how on Earth did that Droideka get on top of the AT-TE? Force Levitation?
  18. B+ for the set A* for the review. When it came out I would have given it top marks but nowadays I'd put my scout troopers on the speeder bike from the 7676 RGS. Cheers for the review!
  19. I agree with most of the suggestions made in this topic, but we definately need some phase II 501st troopers, stick 'em in an assault on the jedi temple, put 'em in a battle pack I don't care but please, please, please Lego give me troopers of the best legion in star wars! And another thing, I'm all for the clone wars sets as they're an excuse for me to pick up awsome clonie vehicles, but they're ruined by the anime styled faces, not to mention that the vehicles in the battle packs suck.. save for the droid BP ofcourse. Obviously for OT endor and Hoth are on my want list, but 2009 is going to be a PT year because of the Clone Wars. darkrebellion - I love the idea of star wars impulse sets but battle packs are such an easier way of collecting armies and a real God-send to me and the star wars Lego community And finally I'd prefer it if Lego would stop producing UCS sets without minifigs 'cos they're pointless for my collection, too pricey and (no offense to fans of them ) darn right ugly...just my 2 cents. (oh yeah I'm done ranting now )
  20. I read this earlier today and by a lucky coincidence happened to go to TRU. I filled out a form and was going to take the rest home and then come back but it says only 1 per household DARN IT...
  21. It is a great minifig included in this set (although not terribly movie accurate ) Terrific Review! EDIT: Oh and by the way I have three of these beauties. The last two in TRU and luckily another from Dewsbury second hand market in a massive bag costing
  22. Hmmmm... I like blue and yellow equally, but I voted blue because that's what the majority of mine wear.
  23. I remember when these sets came out and I asked my Mum to pick one up for me for my Birthday and I was so dissapointed when she got me the catapult with the silver sword ! I already had tonnes of silver swords because that common King always came with one . Yeah, this is definately the best of the set of four because of the extras that are supplied though. Thanks for the review The Brickster!
  24. I gave the set a 4/5 but I'll give your review a 5/5. Thanks for the info, if I see this set cheap it's definately something I'll pick up
  25. That is amazing ( ) great find Bonaparte! I too wanted to build a barracks when I bought AOE3 but I never got round to it. If I had I bet it wouldn't have been one tenth as good as this! I've got to say that I'm not keen on the TwoFace/Ogel Henchmen uniforms but check out the trousers on the guys in the last pic! EDIT: I just checked his Brickshelf (what a talented builder!) shame there aren't any pictures of the interior though...
