I was looking for some construcive critiscism, but I really couldn't think of anything that hasn't been said before, as it looks brilliant and is easily recognisable as a UT-AT (for me at least).
-
I was going to say that it looked a bit stumpy but I can see from the referance pic it is supposed to be that way so great job! It's a very detailed MOC and I wish you luck!

Well I only own Fort Legorado which I found at the back of a shelf in a small toy shop a while back, but I always remember dreaming of having Gold City Junctio. I mean that set has everything, although I still Legorado!!

Star Wars 2009: Great mini figs, weak sets?
Razzer replied to TheBrickHitHouse's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Really, I like this years sets more than any year before and I especially like the way Lego has included neat play features into every new set that isn't just 'flick fire missiles'. Has anyone seen the play feature videos because I think these are possibly the best designed Lego sets ever released, especially since there are lots of entirely new much needed sets and and ships. Yes, I'll agree that Lego are packing more figs into the sets and focusing on the minifigures a little more I think this is a good thing as fans have wanted these characters for a long time. -
Sounds more like Back to the Future to me Seriously though I don't see why Lego won't really as they're making lots of EU sets with the main film series over. To be honest though I wouldn't buy any because this era really doesn't interest me, I like the films and the clone wars and thats it, although I respect that some people can like it... I'll miss you Chewie

They actually do look very (maybe a bit exaggerated) differant to me and the one with the saber is a lot better, although I'm only gonna get the magnet set one which means I get the worse one, oh well.

Ye green dewback, I wasn't s big fan at first but I must say it looks very impressive on the RGS, well done!
-
Another thing to consider would be the displayability because I only have narrow shelves and so the wings in the RGS make it difficult to stay on so it is balancing precariously at the top of the room. I don't own the AT-TE (yet) but I imagine it would be easier to place in battle dioramas because you don't need to make it appear to be flying. And for me, RGS+AT-TE over Dropship + AT-OT anyday (but they are still amazing) I expect that the two sets will actually become a lot more popular when 10195 comes out because collectors would like to have the full might of the Republic army and children who want 10195 will be forced by parents to get a less expensive set for their birthday or something. RGS FTW!!
-
This is definately the most likely as Lego have done it previously where you get a free set with so much money spent on S@H with a code from the catalogue. I remember getting a Lego truck a couple of years back for nothing (or it might have been reduced price, something like that)
-
Same, this set is quite a good deal (in the UK at least) and to me it seems that all recently released sets here are getting cheaper (at least the economic crisis and falling exchange rate of the pound is good for something ). Lots of people on Flickr find the A-wing ugly but I think it looks better and more detailed than the (already excellant) previous version. And on Flick-fire, we all know there not Lego's best idea but it lets them pretend to have an extra play feature and on some sets, the RGS at least they look quite good anyway
-
Got that right, its actually very hard to swoosh, but it still beats the AT-TE in my opinion because of its versatility, I mean its in every battle (or could be) and is absolutely beautiful !!
-
Lego shop @ home says that the dropship WORKS with the AT-TE just so that everyone knows for sure Oh its been posted before... I couldn't find anything about it in the previous 2 pages so I thought it was news sorry
-
Cool news and I really want them but on UK shop@home they are 'not available' although they are there...
-
Its really starting to look like a diner now and i could imagine this becoming modular, a nice big building to go alongside Cafe corner and the likes.
-
The link in his signature? It works fine for me I don't know why it won't for you sorry. I'm gonna have to put some money aside to get me some of these... EDIT: It has actually just stopped working for me too.. and I can't get there through my history either.. oh well I'll try again later
-
Just a car ?!? It's beautiful and I love the hood ornament. By the way , why is such a strange man driving?
-
Suddenly I've come over all patriotic, nice scenes, I like the merchant most and I adore the way you made Henry VIII.
-
Great, you managed to make it smaller than TLGs and yet have a lot more detail - BRAVO!
-
Thanks for the prices brickzone! Errm, in the combine harvester review the box picture shows that it is a limited edition. Does that mean it is an exclusive? I'm not really sure..
-
Carpet? I always thought it was telling us to not build on grass, that certainly is a wild and unruly carpet...
-
When this came out it was officially my favourite set and I spent ages staring at pics of it in my Lego catalogue but alas I never got around to buying it as eBay was incredibly expensive... I'm also not going to even consider buying it anymore as although it is a classic, all of the figs are outdated now as the stormtrooper design has changed, Ewoks are soon to be printed and I think the new Scouties will have plain black heads (or I hope).
-
Easily your best work, I love the posability and this one puts Lego's 'official' one to shame .
-
Tanks for the review erdbeereis1 but I don't really need to buy this set since they're are always loads of police sets and it's not as if I need anymore cops, although Stud makes it tempting...
-
Perhaps, if all else fails, a quorn vendor?
-
Ah, cool MOC, I'd like to see two of these built for real and placed back to back to make a bigger mall. I like all of the differant figs included as well, the same chices I'm sure TLC would make although probably not as many...
