I think that RBR might have had an anchor when it was re-launched as a Lego legend in the early 2000's but I can't verify that.

Wow, that's pretty cool, especially the piano and the stove/fire upstairs. It's just strange that the water in the crate the horse is drinking from doesn't fall out the holes in the sides .

First of all I know don't know about whether the two will stack on top of each other, but te colours will look off as the old hull is in old brown and the new is in dark brown. Also, the new hull peice goes on top of another piece to look just like the older one and you cannot see the join, just check out svelte_corps review. Ho this can clear some things up, although I can't answer the main question, as it's not released in the UK till '09.

That's really cool, but if you ask me the best ships for a model like this would be the scale of Vader's advanced Tie in the Death Star.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there aren't any new faces in this set, one is a criminal face from CITY and the other is in many CITY and Castle sets. Great set though, and the second I see any of the new pirate sets in England I'm buying 'em all!

For a small set this one sure has a lot of printed pieces; legs, hat and one of the 4 (?) maps from the desert adventurers. I voted above average. Great review, can't wait for the next (I love that set).

Yeah, I wanna build gunning pods but with guns unlike on the old RGS.. I don't have any idea on how to attach them to the new ship though because of the doors...

I think of them as being very similar to the trolls, but less organised. Just a ramshackle group of robbers that plunder anyone foolish enough to come nearby. They hang around in packs of five (I only have 5 ) so can never be considered a threat to the major factions.

If you've seen the Lego Alpha Team game, there are quite a few cool things in there, like factories with drones, escape pods, space rockets etc. EDIT: Oh, and pics sound great!

Goodbye carbon footprint, knock up a couple of these baby's and put 'em on your roof! Does it actually have any functions like the large one? I doubt it, but it's still great and soooo cute!

I'd like to buy all of the sets but it could take me about six months to do that... The big two (BrickBeards Bounty and Imperial Fort) are definates, along with the previously mentioned 2x Cannon Battle to complete the ship, but the other sets (Shipwreck esp.) I might not be able to get. The building set is cool, but it's just not in my budget to throw my money at that when I need to save for the Star Wars next year.
