Yes, I would love to see more buildings of this style although I still haven't gotten around to buying any of them yet and am currently deciding whether to buy cafe corner or the green grocer.
-
I agree with you completely but I think it could look good alongside a mordern harbourr district, or in small seaside village

Cool project and I like the vigs so far, although I forsee problems with the more tricksy letters of the Alphabet...

Haha those are some really well designed cars and I would love to see a race solely with smart cars, how cute!

It's great but it comes across more as a bar than a Diner to me and could do with a serving lady. As for improvements, I like the step and the colour scheme, I just think that the building could do with a sign outside to tell people what it is. Overall a brilliant design which would fit in well with Town Plan.

Wow, thanks for the thorough review liquidcross! This was the '09 set I have been looking forward to most and thanks to your review I'm guaranteed to purchase it. What's with all the good sets? My wallet aches...

Thanks for the great review! This was actually a great little set that I never got a chance to own, but a friend of mine got 4 of these beauties and was nice enough to give me a Qui-Gon so that my (now somewhat awful looking) Sith infiltrator had a purpose. Only problem is that I used to try and buy sets like these on eBay and now I have given up due to the need for fleshied characters...

Well, better late than never I suppose... You have no idea how much that made me laugh that show is amazing! Great blender Hinckley I'm sure it will find a home in my minifig's kitchen som time soon...

This is great, I'm impressed by the way Rupi made it look so cool and like they are in real life!

Haha, cool (cruel) trap, but when I read the title I half expected to see Admiral Ackbar dropping a net on someone... that gives me an idea....

Triceraterror - The Three-Horned Horror of the Religious District

Haha, nice story and I love the SNOT floor -
Well, yeah there are some similarities, but they are also present in everything in the castle / fantasy genre. I think the place that we'll decide is when (if) Lego makes Elves, as they are represented in so many differant ways, Tolkien's elves being unique I think (at first anyway, there are many rip-offs). Oh and please don't complain at me if my facts are wrong because I didn't research into this, feel free to correct me however ...

Well then I'm sure you have a very fun time in the evenings ! Good read thanks guys!

Oh yeah there were Rocket SBDs on the Clone Wars recently, thanks I'll have to try that out...

Thanks for the help with a simple, few piece Mod that almost everyone can apply to their Solar Sailer however they want. It makes me look forward to my B'day and the arrival of mine even more!

Wow that is a great MOC and I love the way you've done the fingers, genius. When you make him bigger will you consider making him transform?
-
Haha, a very funny way of displaying a Separatist army! I would have rather it had Jar Jar being hurt but its still good. I don't know how that person managed to starve to death on the small island though because he could have easily jumped he gap and avoided the monster..

What no pole for the eager firefighters to slide down? Great MOC, I wish I had your skill at building...

Nice work there KimT, but to be honest, who in their right mind is going to vote no, because if there is a chance for them to choose their favourite scene to be made in Lego they wouldn't give that up. I'm prepared for the fact that someone will now vote no just to spite me...

Great Reveiw there Sandy! To date Orient Expedition is the only theme that I have collected all of the sets for and they were all direct from Lego. I sure remember building the Emporors Fortress at the exact same time when I heard about the disaster that was the Thailand Tsunami. I think I might try out that China Town idea, as I tried it when I was younger and it was a complete shambles but now I'm a more capable builder I should be able to make it work. Thanks P.S although the golden sword, shield, helmet are awsome, they fade really easy, which I discovered far too late so in some lights they appear silver... darn.

It's on shop @ home now for 29 pounds 35p which is absolutely ridiculous if you think that Anakins fighter is 19 pounds 55p. I know that Ashoka and the vulture droid up the price a bit but this is slightly strange...

Yeah, I voted for no.11 as it looks better than the gold barding and is the most detailed. Although I love classic castle the Crown Knights are amazing and this one is rarer than the gold barding.

Nice entry! Damn those humans can't they just leave us in peace?!?

I love the new map but it doesn't fit in with the pirate line in the slightest bit. Especially as it includes specific features form the Last Crusade...

CCCVI Secret Hideout -- Inn: The Empty Barrel
Razzer replied to mrts's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thats beautiful ! Although, if we're honest, the Empty Barrel isn't the smartestname for the Inn if they want to keep the Wolfpack hideout a secret...
