  1. Freighter 4015 I have a classic set, it fits with me though since it is a ship after all. Nice topic, I wouldn't have thought of it!
  2. That is very true! If I would remove the tiles from my ship it would fall apart. Tiles isn't a bad thing to use at all. I think I can't live without them.
  3. I don't even own 1 of those.
  4. Something must be wrong with your eyes because I can see things, although the pictures are a bit blurry. The roof is the best part of your Trading Company, I will use something similar in the future. I also like the interior details, the desk and the goodies. You have a lot of tan tiles! Nice job!
  5. Looks great Ratshot! I really like the interior details, the monkey grinder is really nice and the beer rack as well. I also like the floor a lot. Perhaps some more work on the roof?
  6. The Bayhorse Tavern. Another overview. The merchant's cart. The other side with stairs and walkway. The whole interior. You can rent a bed upstairs and eat or drink something on the main floor. Although now is not the best time... Yay! Pub brawl! Food fight! Furniture throwing! What do you do when you've wasted your shot? Indeed! Smack the opponent's face! His mum told him always to throw trash away. Thanks for watching and keep an eye on the horizon for the next part of the Gold Road! More pictures, close ups and details on Flickr! Catch you later!
  7. Looks great! There are two pictures far too big, please resize them to 800x600 max. I really like the interior, lots of details like the candles. Keep it up! It's turning out really nice.
  8. Funny pictures! It totally depends on the situation when you prefer tiles or studs. On a lot of places tiles just don't fit while on the other hand some places need tiling to look even better. The broadside of my ship for example prefers tiles, for the smooth surface and plank structure. Those things add a lot of realism.
  9. That is a very nice creation you've got there. Classic! You've put a lot of effort in it, the rocks for example are really nice. I also really like the pirate hut, but I'm not too fond of the black rock in the back. I'd suggest to go for gray like the other rocks. For the rest it's a very nice MOC!
  10. That's sweet. On 30 April, my birthday, the whole family comes together, eating cake and I get nice presents. Some of my best friends visit me that day. A cool thing is 30 April is Queens day in the Netherlands, which means I never have school or work on my birthday. On the next Saturday I host a big party. Lots of friends come and there is a lot of beer, liquor, food, music and awesomeness. The first day of my new age is a horrible one, I suffer from a hangover, have to clean up the mess and have to remove people from the sofa on which they fell asleep. After that I'll go and enjoy my presents!
  11. Very nice! I wonder how he defeated that troll without wearing any armour. Lovely colours, very nice job.
  12. What an excellent creation! Really nice! Great architecture, the fence around it and the door are just top notch. The box looks great too! Great job!
  13. I'm very impressed! This is just so awesome. I love to have chrome coloured pieces, but TLC only has a few. Thanks Holodoc for finding that bricklink store! It was very nice to browse through all these chromed items! Now it's up to you to guess where I'm saving for...
  14. That's a hard question, every piece can come in handy sometime. However, there are a few pieces I just don't like. The big transparent flame, it's just not realistic at all. The palm trunk from the new pirates' line, with that 6x6 base is a horrible thing. That's all where I can think of...
  15. Dear Inky, your request has partly been done. Working on the legs now. Again, sorry for the long time.
  16. Nice! The colours strongly remind me from the Texaco gas stations. It looks very modern and smooth with all the tiling. An excellent creation!
  17. Congrats Teddy! May your day be filled with friends, fun, cake and a lot of LEGO. Spare some cake for me! Have a nice day!
  18. Plain black, white and a copper colour hull would do a great job for me, without a second colour like the classic LEGO ship hulls currently have. Some wider hull parts would be nice too, even the large hull pieces are rather small if you want to build close to minifig scale.
  19. Very good! Using 2x3 tiles with clips is an excellent way to create roofings. Keep it up!
  20. I defenitely agree with the fact the tiles on the heart ruin the curved shapes. I only use tiling for smooth surfaces like wooden floors in a house. In the heart I would go for studs for sure. The decks of my ships will be studded, only the small things will be tiled. Minifigs have to stand somewhere...
  21. Interesting! While school and work takes a lot of time I still have some time left. At least 3 hours a day, in the weekends I'm able to reach 10 hours. Rest of the time I play some games, being active on EB and if the weather is good I'm hanging around outside. I would be a rich man if I would get money for every hour I build with LEGO!
  22. Yay! A pub brawl! I'm working on something similar, not western though. Keep it up mate!
  23. Again a top notch build! The stagecoach is just perfect, nice curtains for the windows and curved shapes! The landscape is also nice.
  24. That is a hilarious build ISC! I really like it, the shack, the water (and a...carrot... ), the cactus and paper roll are just excellent A really great build.
