  1. "They're currently entertaining another member of our party."
  2. "You've made the right decision," Hoke says as he dismounts Torc,"Keep our new friends entertained for awhile,"he says as he pats the dragon on the neck. Hoke walks toward the embassy, Zoot's Order in hand, ready to take on whatever was inside. He was surprised to see the "prisoners" not looking much like prisoners. Hoke scoffs, but holds his tongue. He just avoided one fight, no use starting another one.
  3. As Atramor walks towards the guard captain, Hoke mounts Torc again, and taps her sides with is heels. She stalks forward, just behind the rogue, on all fours, low to the ground, acidic smoke gently yet menacingly cascading out of her mouth and nostrils. She is the cat and the guard is the mouse. "Believe me," Hoke says holding his hand out, the metallic orb slowly taking the form of a wickedly tipped spear, elongating towards the guard,"WE can move you." As if on cue, Torc emits an almost purr like rumbling from deep within her, shaking her scales like disturbed waters, her wings stretching outward as she stood up to full height.
  4. Hoke uses a Remedy in Torc. After the dragon returns to her natural size, Hoke swings himself up onto her shoulder and neck in one swift motion.
  5. Hoke took all the information in, trying to formulate a plan. It seemed like there were too many questions and not enough answers. "I as well would like to gather the skirmishers if possible. We could use all the help we can get."
  6. Hoke chuckles after seeing the dragon shrunk down to a size she hasn't been in what seems like a lifetime. "If he does that again, do you think you could fit around my neck?" "Thanks," Hoke says as he pockets the Remedy.
  7. Hoke stays mounted on Torc, unconsciously rubbing the side of her neck, keeping a watchful eye on their surroundings and the sky as the Rogue speaks with the Alchemist.
  8. Hoke shakes Arthur's hand and puts the gifts in his pack. He turns to mount Torc and looks down to the mage after finding his spot. "If I run into your little one, I will let her know."
  9. "Don't lose heart madame. We picked you to come along with us because we believe in your skills and abilities. We will need those again soon. Believe in us too."
  10. "We, just ourselves here, cannot take the Watch alone. I want to see the Shadeaux freed, please believe me, but we need answers to this puzzle to acquire more allies. We will storm Fort Freedom, when the time comes. Unfortunately, that time is not right now."
  11. Hoke carefully hands the vial to the rogue.
  12. Hoke nods to his diminutive friend. "Indeed." Hoke begins to restuff his pack, then says,"While I have my things out, it may be a good time to optimize our gear. Anyone here is welcome to anything I have." He sticks his hand in his side pouch and pulls out a certain vial of Crimson Haze. "Especially this."
  13. "So an alchemist, the skirmishers, and Fort Freedom. Sounds like we have our work cutout for us. Shall we be off? Where to first?" Hoke unslings his pack and adjusts his gear as the team discusses their next move. Hoke removes Obsan's Masterpiece and the Coat Hanger and puts on the Prayer Beads and Warrior Treads. He also uses the Bright Polish on his Buckler.
  14. Did we already look through the cavern that's under the house for the eggs?
  15. Hoke steps forward to address the Golden Dragon. "Madame, thank you for the help you could offer. I would like to let you know that because of Heroica today, as flawed as it may be, the Dragons of Dastan are renewing their bond with the world at large. My draconic friends, one of them outside, and another I had set free from a marketplace bazaar, spent time with the dragons to teach and convince them to once again ally themselves with world and all the races contained within. We were able to do this because the Dragonlord of House Shadeaux taught us how to become one with this majestic creatures. The impostor who is posing as you killed the Dragonlord. He was the one that taught us. He was the one that made it possible for Torc, my dragon, and I to travel to Dastan to talk to the dragons. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have received the egg...the eggs,"Hoke shocks to his senses quickly, remembering,"Thank you again madame." Hoke turns to the others. "I need to collect the rest of the eggs from the clutch. Not all of them were claimed if I remember correctly. We can't afford for those to fall into the wrong hands." Hoke leaves to claim the rest of the eggs.
  16. WBD - Hoke consumed the Henry Award earlier. If you haven't already change it, his HP should be +1. Hoke watches as the rogue performs a blood ritual. A chill runs down his spine as the demon-thing materializes into view, seemingly stepping forth from its hellish home. He can't help but shudder a bit, though as he does, he feels the weapon in his hand tremble with excitement. And then, in a flick of a giant scythe, it was over. "What is that stuff?" Hoke asks as he watches the rogue scoop up the silver dust.
  17. "Here you go," Hoke says after fishing in his pack a bit. Hoke gives Atramor a Mulled Wine.
  18. Sorry, meant Althior (all that attack AFTER Hoke).
  19. Did Atramor & Dyric's HITs benefit from FRAGILE, or does that take effect the next round? Hoke leaps forward, and at the most opportune moment, thrusts his spear forward. The Doomsayer's chest greets the metallic orb's form unwillingly as the orb spews forth its poison and curses. Hoke pivots back as his companions add their own shots, slamming the Doomsayer from all angles. This 'Veteran' wouldn't last much longer if they could keep this up. Repeat
  20. Hoke dives forward at the dwarf. Zoot's Order, Doomsayer, Front Row
  21. Hoke uses a Smelling Salts on Atramor. "You got it."
  22. Why wouldn't/shouldn't we try Sleep? "You never know..." Hoke attempts to lift his legs as he consumes a small bottle out of his belt pouch. Free Use - Remedy on Self Doomsayer, Zoot's Order, Front Row
  23. Hoke feels the earth itself heave up and bite into his legs. It was more of a nuisance than a deterrent. Hoke quickly digs in his pack and pulls out a scroll, tossing it to the necromancer. "Use that." Hoke tosses the Scroll of Sleep to Chesterine.
  24. Hoke takes another step. "The corpse was here well before we arrived the first time."
  25. Hoke stalks to the side, flanking the dwarf, as his comrades engaged in conversation. He kept looking about as well, not wanting anymore surprises.
