Hoke taps Vintul against this shield, ready to attack.

"We've already thrown them. That is what all those explosions were," Hoke says with a wink.

"Just have a phoenix essence ready!" Opal, Death Rose A, Back Row (After Namyrra's attempt to seal).

"Aye then! Bombs away!"

"Aye, and if I got a proper Spellspin with my Opal, those buggers would go down fast and hard, but I shall acquiesce to your decision."

OOC - I think you are in control of Alexis if she is not updating till Sunday. Hoke grabs the Fire Bomb from his satchel and lobs it at the most effected target (how many enemies does a bomb hit?) from the back row.

"Have we decided our next destination?"

Hoke rushes forward and utterly destroys the remaining enemies with a flame engulfed blade. As he concludes his attack, the flames seem to be sucked into the sword until they disappear. The air around Vintul shimmers for a few seconds, then the heat dissipates, and the blade is cool to the touch once again. "Well done everyone."

"As you say my friend." Hoke charged to the front. He hadn't use his sword properly in a long time. Vintul, Dryad, Front Row.

Seeing the fey sprite didn't care much for fire, Hoke decided to do it again. Repeat action.

Hoke has Counterstrike Gloves on. Hoke is caught off guard by the wily Dryad but blocks her feeble assault with his trusty shield. He attempts to use his ruby again. Repeat action.

"It's nice to see something else to fight besides a Chaos Beast for a change isn't!" Hoke says to Skrall and Alexis. Dryad, Ruby, Back Row (Ruby if Spellspin).

Hoke swings his sword and shield through a couple of maneuvers and looks at the party. "Are we going or what?"

Hoke walks up to the party and greets his old friends and introduces himself to the party members he has not met before. "Sounds like a good area to warm up. Let's see to it then!"

Ok, I noticed Tesni has a pair of gloves that are an artefact that boost WP.

Are those gloves an artefact or a weapon?

"And I wouldn't mind joining you," Hoke piped. "It must have been quite an adventure!"

I guess a QM needs to drop a Scroll of Doom?

"I do not mean to pry into others' business, but I do believe those instruments you have in your haul would be fine in the hands of Cronk. I do believe he is working towards becoming a Minstrel. Mayhaps those could be spared till he could put an offer in on them after he returns from his quest?"

Hoke pats Tesni on the back. "It appears you have done well! I'd wager there is an interesting story behind all of this loot." With that, Hoke offers Tesni a tankard.

Hoke clasped Benji's shoulder and gave it a pat. "It will come to you one day, but for now, speak to me about being a Warden. That is a path I am able to take but, as of yet, have not traveled."

"I do not see why you have such a dilemma my friend. Even in nature, that which you mother's side of your heritage is sworn to protect, animals kill one another for food and sustenance. Even the fungus of the forest consumes that which is dead and dying. Your father ability to kill his prey in a single shot is a respectable way to dispatch a target. It's much better than being bitten, clawed or gored to submission and being eaten while still partly alive. I think If you should divide your talents between a Warden and an Assassin, depending on the needs of the party you have joined."
