I'm sorry but the new stud shooters look hilariously stupid imho... I'm sure kids will enjoy popping them off and trying to nail each other in the eye, while sending the family pet 'charging in the opposite direction!' Maybe the summer wave will come complete with LEGO Star Wars brick-built goggles for eye-protection?!

Meh, I'm mostly an OT fan meaning the only things I'll be getting will be 3x DS Troopers pack. I also prefer the last V-Wing set as the nose is narrower and overall it just has a sleeker feel and the black/grey colours obviously fit perfectly with the rest of my Imperials.

Definitely going to grab the Wolf Legend Beast after seeing the completed box art! Love Sparratus too - I really hope we get some sets with the Spiders/Scorpions that don't have Gorillas/Lions in them though.

I'd read a rumor back in August on one of those other Lego blogs that we'd maybe be getting a new Darth Vader's Advanced TIE-Fighter set. Would love it to be true, as I currently have two of the most recent TIE-Fighters to act as his escort!

Kinda dumb we're getting a second Gorzon when the Rhinos have 0 speedorz sets and the poor Ravens only have 2... Even another Wolf speedor would have been better than a duplicate of a character we already have.

Being early pics that are rather fuzzy and have that silly watermark mucking things up, I'm not entirely prepared to write things off just yet... While some of those Legend Beasts look god-awful right now, we'll just wait and see for the final pics to come through. Once things are cleaned up & proper looking, I have a feeling that the Croc LB might just grow quite a bit on me for example. Still wish there weren't so many gorillas gumming up the minifig selections though.

Meh, I'm sure there's still at least a few coins to be had... I mean, there's always lots of shiny things found deep underground in those dark & spooky caves. I'm just afraid my Raven 'army' is about to get well and truly outnumbered by my Eagle tribe.

I really like the eagle legend beast and the wolfy one doesn't look too bad either... the rest of 'em are just a bit too cartoon'ish for my taste. Only set thus far I'm really stoked about is the Batstriker. The rest of 'em are kinda messed up due to the watermark still being present. Also, no Ravens?!!! C'mon Lego, where's the love for my favourite tribe?!

What I want to know, who the hell thought it would be a great idea to give young boys stud-shooters?! Because you all know, younger siblings & house pets everywhere are about to be cursing the new 2014 line-up due to intense suffering from 'shooting-range-itis'.

Keep in mind that photos also only ever show one specific angle, can have awkward backgrounds and/or otherwise just tend to make things look 'meh' to 'terribad'... (just look at the god-awful first pics of the SW Keshyyk Scout Trooper's helmet!) I'm betting this little guy will look pretty decent once we actually have it physically in hand.

Squeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Wow does he ever look epic-win! :wub_drool: I won't mind paying full price for one of them, since my aunt typically tends to give me a $50 Chapters/Indigo gift card for Xmas. I'll likely pick up another couple as well once I see them going for 20-25%+ off too!

Which will then quickly be followed by a C&D order from Games Workshop's legal department...

The new Pilot looks entirely indentical to the one from 2010. Here's hoping that the Kashyyk Trooper's helmet looks better 'in real life' than the photo is showing... (also, who the heck though it was a brilliant idea to photograph a primarily green'ish minifig on a solid green background?!)

Woo-hoo! Giants finally win a game!!! Okay, so it was against the equally lousy Vikings, but hey, a win is a win! And best of all, despite his receivers' best efforts, Manning finally had a game with 0 int's! Though it would be nice if his receivers could learn to actually catch...

May be a bit smaller, but didn't last year's winter wave also include a bunch of added promo-stuff that somewhat inflated the amount of "releases"? Anyways, while I'm not thrilled at all about the minifig assortments, I really can't wait for pics now!!!

True it's awesome to be getting the Royal Guard for those of us who either missed out on, or else never had those sets come to stores the first time around, but overall it's a boring battle pack. 2x Royals + 2x Gunners? Would have been MUCH better to do something like 1x Guard + 1x Gunner + 1x DS Trooper + 1x Imperial Officer. They would sell virtual bucket loads of those, but noooooooo! I know I'll only be getting 3 of the current rumored line-up, (as there were never more than 6 Royals shown in the film), but if they're limited those guys to only 1 per pack, well, I would have doubled it to 6 packs...

I noticed the World's Biggest Book Store in Toronto had mis-tagged the Eglor's Bike set from the Chima line and priced it as $24.95 instead of the 'normal' $29.95... So I couldn't help but pick it up since they had to honour the listed price on the set! And with our discount card, we got an additional 5% off the cheaper price as well!

I'm just hoping that PJ does the Dol Guldur arc properly and gives us Khamul as the 'Wraith-in-charge' and not that usurper Witch King! (who's still IIRC locked in his magical tomb at this point in the books...) The poor Easterlings don't ever get proper respect darnit!

And the Giants are 0-5 for the first time since something like 1987 or thereabouts. At least they get the satisfaction of knowing they were the team who helped 'injure' Micheal something-I-can't-say-in-a-public-forum!' (I really hate that guy!)

As cool as a UCS Slave I would be, as with all rumors it's quite handy to remember to add a healthy dose of salt. Saves on later disappointment when rumors don't quite pan out the way you might have envisioned.

Probably don't want to hassle of dealing with his ego would be my guess...
