Welcome to the Eurobricks forum, Neptune, I hope you will have a wonderfull time here!
-
These should also be posted into the subforum yes. You can find a thorough description of what should be posted in the Pirate MOC forum underneath the subforum name.

Hi, due to the recent succes and subsequentially the small amount of time a MOC can currently stay on the first page of this forum, we have decided to dedicate a separate subforum. In fact, the PTV contest forum has now become the Pirate MOC forum. Please do post all of your MOCs, WIPs, armies, vignettes, bignettes, customs, comics and finds over there from now on. The main forum can be used for about everything else. You can find a thorough description of what should be posted in the Pirate MOC forum underneath the subforum name. All of the existing MOC discussions will be moved to the new Pirate MOC forum in the next couple of days. Thanks! And we hope you will like the new system.

All replies are suddenly "branching tree" variety?

This is the day when a pirate's life ended.
Zorro replied to Captain Blackmoor's topic in Pirate MOCs
Nice, I like it. Reminds me of the Pillage the Village contest . -
Happy Birthday and may there be many happy and healthy years!

They look good, I think a custom Pirates crew would look better on a pirate ship. With the new set releases we do have some great additional torsos though.

MOD - Soldiers' Fort plus revamped Imperial Trading Post
Zorro replied to brickzone's topic in Pirate MOCs
That is a really nice Merchant Vessel you have there! Looks a lot bigger then the original one too. Good job, I like your MODs . -
Well, I do think it is getting time for you to start thinking of children, don't you agree Captain Green Hair?
-
This looks fantastic, Slyowl, the Orclings are original and funny, I presume the big Troll is their mommy or something ? I also like the underground and tree: the dirt under it adds a level of realism to your MOC.

MOD - Soldiers' Fort plus revamped Imperial Trading Post
Zorro replied to brickzone's topic in Pirate MOCs
I like this. It actually shows that the new bricks and colours offer great possibilities to enhance existing sets and MOCs. I only feel sorry TLG barely includes any baseplates in their current sets, the Pirates sets have none (except for the weird Loot Island plate). -
Euhm...didn't you read/notice This Thread? But thanks for asking, I didn't know people were actually watching my profile so closely .

As a fellow Belgian, I would be glad to know that answer as well. Anyone?
-
Happy Birthday guys! I wish you the very best, a long life and a lot of LEGO! Enjoy! PS: CGH; you're not old at all! (at least that's what I hope, considering I'm only 1,5 years younger then you.)

The Admiral's daughter had a little too much to drink.
Zorro replied to Silent-Sigfig's topic in Pirate MOCs
Gheghe...very funny , but I'm glad you didn't attach or insert the link to your post. You did nice, those faces and movements, the "photoshopping" , the Governor won't be happy if he finds out about his daughters secret 'parties'. -
Is this the way LEGO Company treats their volunteer workers?
Zorro replied to LegoBuster's topic in General LEGO Discussion
CopMike is not trying to twist anything, he is just stating his opinion about this just as you and anyone else has the right to do. And I think you are the one misinterpreting him, in more then one way. He has been chosen by this community as well and in no way only does what LEGO tells him to do, that is not the task of ambassadors, their task is to represent people like you and me towards the LEGO company, and I think he is doing a fine job. He read your story, understood your grieves and made a call to the representative, who even came down here to give you an answer. If you are unsatisfied with this, good, just contact her or another representative again, or even make a formal complaint to them. But honestly, I don't see what more you can or want to achieve here on this forum, you told your story, you've gotten an answer and the ability to discuss this further. That is what I would do, being an AFOL. And Hollisbrick, re-read and re-think before you post in sensitive threads like these:wink: ...I know its not badly intended, but your post can so easily be misunderstood . -
It is a lot of money, but then again it is a truly amazing collection as well! But as the eBayers under us know, there is also a "bid now" option allowed, meaning one can say how much he is willing to pay for it and then the seller decides. In most of the times this option is on, sellers just give a very high price and actually expect people to bid on it. The "buy it now" button is only for people that desperatly want/need it, or for those that make that ammount in a day/hour of course .

I must agree, they look very good, and are way cooler then non-animated ones. I hope they can be added to the smiley bars into the forum, but of course only if this is allowed by the creators, and if it is technicaly possible and such.

True, there has been much discussion about it. Personnaly I use my Bluecoats as French soldiers, the redcoats are British soldiers, and the Armada for Spanish soldiers. As Fluyt says, the morion was used by a lot of European states! Think of the Swiss and German mercenaries, think of the movie: Elisabeth. Most people do it this way I think, but LEGO may have made some suggestions about who represents what nation, but really: IMAGINATION people, that is what LEGO is all about .

Thanks for this great Avatar competition, Hinckley, I will enjoy watching the entries. I like the three MOCs I've seen so far, so well done Athos and 3D Brickthing ! Keep them coming guys!

Maily because out of interest. And I think building La Haye Saint would be amazing, I am really looking forward to the first builder that makes something on a large enough scale to look realistic. With so many soldiers that shouldn't be a problem. But of course I understand children take a lot of time, so I'm not trying to push anything here. I'm just saying it would be nice .
-
This is truly an amazing army you have here , and many (me included) are at least a bit jealous of you! Do you plan to make other battlefields with all of them or are you mainly armybuilding?
-
Still I like the Fort Eldorado MOC! Especcialy the gun platform is executed nicely . But I've seen them before, so this is old news...

Actually I am a Pirate Vice-admiral, they aren't really known for being good . I sure will! Thanks! He ain't leaving, he is just going to spend less time here, considering he needs more time to fulfill other obligations . Thank you, *salutes back*. Ok, so far for the introductions and stuff, now line up in two rows! One to polish the deck and another for guarding my newly aquired rum-supplies!

Well Thank You, guys, for the encouraging words. I will do my very best to, together with the rest of the crew, manage this wonderful forum!
